VIRUS DISCOVERY IN DEEP-SEA ZONE AND ITS RESEARCH
Through the fourth Kermadec Trench expedition with an unmanned deep sea probe led by the Montpellier University of Marine Science and Technology Laboratory, a new species of predatory deep sea fish was discovered at a depth of 9000m within the hadal zone.
Despite this deep sea fish being in a high water pressure environment, which has an immense impact on living things, it had extraordinary characteristics such as unbelievably high swimming ability and ferocity.
Research analysis led us to conclude that the cause of this phenomenal vitality wasn't something endemic to the deep sea fish, but that we had discovered a new strain of ichthyopathogenic virus.
We gave this virus the "deep" name of "The Abyss" and decided to covertly continue the research.
The Abyss transformed the naturally fat and juicy body of the deep sea fish that's suited under a low oxygen, high water pressure and low temperature environment, resulting in the formation of a highly dense skeleton with muscular strength of a level impossible in the deep seas.
If this works well, I'm sure the range of B.O.W. spheres of activity will expand exponentially.
Regarding The Abyss' infectious capacity, it has been found that when transmitted through blood it has an infection probability of 99.76%.
Although it's very rare, there have been cases where the virus wasn't transmitted to humans through oral ingestion.
We continued further research in order to make this breathtaking virus even more virulent.
