Bioweapons used in bioterrorism were evolving at an accelerating pace and it had even been confirmed some individuals were capable of undergoing further metamorphosis depending on the environment and circumstances. In the early days of organizations fighting back, selecting gear was a major challenge since these targets couldn't be fully foreseen.
So rather than agents under the President's direct command adopting standardized equipment, a system was adopted to determine the performance standards required by each individual agent, with the organization providing support toward procuring the gear. The "SG-09 R" is one of the customizations by the gunsmith Joe Kendo.
"The SG-09 R's based upon the H&K USP, but rather than using the highly lethal .45 ACP bullet model, it's based on the 9mm Parabellum model which has the advantage of a high-capacity magazine and lower recoil, along with a compensator, finger channels and other parts emphasizing stability also installed.
Furthermore, the internal components have been recalibrated to achieve high performance levels in terms of "stable operation, high precision, rigidity and weight balance."
The SG-09 R's performance analysis results provide a glimpse into the performance standards demanded by agents who survived the Raccoon Incident, and are proof of the high level of Joe Kendo's skills in customization.
About
This weapon was designed to be used against B.O.W.'s, a pistol that required the same level of performance as the Offensive Handgun Weapon System. Joe Kendo customized it. Various custom parts were added such as a compensator fitted on the converted silver slide, a Picatinny-standard undermount, as well as finger channels, but the individual parts comprising the gun itself were reworked with a high degree of precision, the customizing process reconfiguring them in the process. Although not obvious at first glance, nearly every part's been modified. It's customary for firearms used by the President's direct agents to have the "Kendo" printed on the gun's side erased during the final adjustment stage out of confidentiality concerns, but this gun's owner Leon is said to have liked it so much he decided to retain the gun with it still on.

Feeling the permanently supplied 9mm bullet was inadequate as a means of combatting various crimes, S.T.A.R.S. officer Barry Burton secretly requested a custom gun from his friend, gunsmith Joe Kendo, with the view of formally adopting it within S.T.A.R.S. as an Ultimate Weapon for Anti-Zombie Combat (Lethal Weapon) concept. It might be said it was a request from a close friend, and the prototype, which Kendo poured his whole heart and soul into, was a treat no one could speak of or understand at the time. (Since that's commonplace later, Kendo's foresight is clear)
Unfortunately however, this single-handed work in Joe Kendo's life was never given to his client Barry, but it goes without saying it played an active role with Leon S. Kennedy, who discovered it by chance.
Though it's a postscript, this gun was safely returned to the client, Barry Burton, 20 years later.

The shortened barrel and standard slide are versatile and can be used in any situation. With a beavertail, the checkered frame always aids in high-precision firing. Unified black environment-resistant paint guarantees stable operation even in polar regions. It's the ultimate mass-produced model that has had its performance refined practically to the limit.
It's presently adopted as standard gear for the BSAA S.O.U. responsible for various countermeasures against bioterror, displaying many achievements.

The "ALBERT.W.MODEL 02" was conceived as one answer to this problem. Combining the suppressive power of a shotgun and a machine gun's rapid-fire ability, this gun was enthusiastically welcomed on the frontlines right after it was supplied.

Its basic specs are the same as the Samurai Edge Standard Model, but unlike the Samurai Edges documented thus far, it's a custom model that employs a sand color.
Although the intention behind its manufacture's unknown, the order's believed to have been placed at an organizational level rather than an individual level, since multiple productions have been confirmed.
The main parts use differing shades of a sand-based color with the sights and levers finished in black to give it an overall tone enhancing its camouflage effect, so the organization involved can be expected to have sufficient experience.
The details are unknown at this time but will be updated as new information arrives.

The "Samurai Edge" is a famous gun that has been tuned to the extreme for members who find themselves in extreme situations. This Samurai Edge made to commemorate some sort of 20th anniversary is an extremely rare model that employs a sandy color with a military feel. Although commemorative models such as this tend to be produced with no regard for practicality, this model uses differing shades of sandy colors for its main parts. Furthermore, by finishing the sights and levers in black and giving them a gradation of color, the heightened camouflage effect boosts its combat performance. Unfortunately, there's no data on this commemorative model ever being used in live combat, but it's easy to predict that even if it were to become a reality, it would function just as well as the standard model.

About
A custom M92F-based gun that draws out its potential to the extent it can be called "an F1 racing car among handguns," the Samurai Edge is a famous gun with a name no one involved in the field's unaware of. In 1998, the same year it was formally adopted by S.T.A.R.S., it was used in the "Mansion Incident," proving its specs and contributing to the survival of several S.T.A.R.S. officers despite the dire circumstances they weren't prepared to face. The name Samurai Edge comes from the artistic "samurai blade" lines on the side of the Brigadier slide, as well as from the Japanese-American name of Joe Kendo. It's said eight members of the team used this "Samurai Edge Standard Model" except for Chris, Jill, Barry, and Wesker, who had their own additional customizations, along with Rebecca Chambers, the sole survivor of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team in the Mansion Incident.

The base gun's an M9 Joe Kendo gave to Barry as a birthday gift, and although it wasn't customized in any particular way, it's a superbly detailed and well-tuned gun.

Many years had passed since the Mansion incident and Barry was finally approaching old age. He was past his peak as a warrior and probably knew better than most he could no longer control the power of the .40SW like he used to.
In light of his current physical abilities he chose the 9mm Parabellum round which is less powerful than the .40SW, but he never gave up on "sure-fire" shooting. He believed by reducing recoil as well as improving stability and portability he could gain an advantage that'd more than compensate for the power.
The new system's designed to be handled as if it were part of the body to deliver the desired results. Barry wanted Quint to make a Samurai Edge that would allow him to perform at his best in his current self.
In response to Barry's request, Quint collected and analyzed Barry's personal data, including his height and weight, then had heated debates with Barry based on the data. Although there was a big gap at first between Barry's firm ideas about guns and the optimal solutions backed by Quint's technology, knowledge, and the collected data, after repeated discussions and trial firings while buried amongst a pile of prototypes, this gun was completed.

In response to Barry Burton's request, Quint Cetcham, who boasts the BSAA's leading technology and innovations, developed the "Samurai Edge Barry Burton Model Ver.II". The base was the latest M9, which the famed Joe Kendo gave to Barry as a birthday gift. Its most distinctive feature's an enlarged compensator. Quint and Barry spent a great deal of time on this part, which contributes to stabilizing trajectory by efficiently releasing the propellant gas while also functioning as a muzzle brake. Furthermore, the center of the grip, which is a fusion of rubber and wood parts, is embedded with a gold and red medallion in Barry's signature colors, making it obvious this is a customized Barry Burton model.

BSAA Technology Development Division Assistant Deputy Manager, Quint, preaching the necessity of special gear capable of dealing with unique situations not found in conventional bioterror combat, looked at the Samurai Edge, once a M92F, that was customized by the Raccoon Police Department special ops unit S.T.A.R.S.
He studied and verified the Samurai Edge borrowed from former S.T.A.R.S. and current BSAA member Jill Valentine, then created the "Samurai Edge A1" based on the M9A1.
After adding S.T.A.R.S. medallions to the grips as well as S.T.A.R.S. and Custom Shop Kendo onto the slides, he provided the gun to Jill, who's on the frontlines of anti-bioterror.

The Samurai Edge A1 is a refined version of the M9A1 equipped with a thicker "Brigadier slide" with reinforced muzzle section, as well as engraved with "S.T.A.R.S." and "Custom Shop Kendo." In addition, a "Hybrid Custom Grip" is applied which combines a "wood type grip" with a "rubber type" grip to achieve a high level of hold. Considering ops in the dark, it's preferable to use a unified black body that doesn't stand out, but some parts are silver to "make it easier to recognize its presence even in dim darkness."

A distinctive flash hider with pyramid-shaped spikes on the front to prevent muzzle flash diffusion.

The ops of DSO agents are mainly investigation and espionage.
Although the firearms supplied to them are mainly portable high-performance handguns, firearms made for military and law enforcement organizations aren't developed with special situations like bioterrorism and biological weapons in mind.
It could be said providing agents facing special situations and operations with gear developed "for proprietary use" daily was a natural course of events.
A giant anti-bioterror force called the "FBC" (Federal Bioterrorism Commission) once existed in the United States of America. As a military unit tasked with suppressing bioterrorism, the FBC was an organization of a different composition than the DSO, but it also developed dedicated gear using its abundant financial power, comparable to the military budget of a small country.
This specialized anti-bioterror gear development project was codenamed "Sentinel."
The Sentinel Project also vanished as a result of the FBC's dissolution.
However, the Sentinel Project has been revived by the DSO which had its eyes on a vast quantity of data, such as analysis of various equipment and manufactured prototypes devised in this project, as well as the unique circumstances brought about by bioterrorism.
A notable agent of the DSO named Leon S. Kennedy, having experienced scenes of bioterror time and time again, participated as a supervisor in the Sentinel Project revived by the DSO. This gun was developed to meet three keywords presented by he who had experienced many battles, "versatility", "stability" and "certainty."
About
The Sentinel Nine was developed to fulfill the elements of versatility, reliability, and stability required by Leon, an experienced agent, for an agent's gear. The Sentinel Nine's based on the SIGP226E2 selected by Leon and has been generously customized to meet Leon's exacting requirements. Although there were several advance production models of the Sentinel Nine, the Tall Oaks bioterror attack occurred before it was received, so it wasn't actually delivered until after the incident. This gun's the standard model of the Samurai Edge, a custom gun officially adopted by S.T.A.R.S., its creator Joe Kendo's craftsmanship customized the "M92F semi-auto handgun" and raised it to the level of an F1 racing car.
In order to use a special heavy round that fires a 9x19mm bullet at an initial velocity of the .357 magnum class, the Brigadier style was adopted to increase the thickness of the slide lock. Its sharply angled silhouette and silver barrel are reminiscent of a samurai blade, hence it was named Samurai Edge.
Eight S.T.A.R.S. officers excluding Chris, Jill, Barry and Wesker appear to have used this standard model, but because of the Mansion Incident that occurred immediately after it was formally adopted, it's presently difficult to verify its status of use.

Bioweapons used in bioterrorism were evolving at an accelerating pace and it had even been confirmed some individuals were capable of undergoing further metamorphosis depending on the environment and circumstances. In the early days of organizations fighting back, selecting gear was a major challenge since these targets couldn't be fully foreseen.
So rather than agents under the President's direct command adopting standardized equipment, a system was adopted to determine the performance standards required by each individual agent, with the organization providing support toward procuring the gear. The "SG-09 R" is one of the customizations by the gunsmith Joe Kendo.
"The SG-09 R's based upon the H&K USP, but rather than using the highly lethal .45 ACP bullet model, it's based on the 9mm Parabellum model which has the advantage of a high-capacity magazine and lower recoil, along with a compensator, finger channels and other parts emphasizing stability also installed.
Furthermore, the internal components have been recalibrated to achieve high performance levels in terms of "stable operation, high precision, rigidity and weight balance."
The SG-09 R's performance analysis results provide a glimpse into the performance standards demanded by agents who survived the Raccoon Incident, and are proof of the high level of Joe Kendo's skills in customization.

This weapon was designed to be used against B.O.W.'s, a pistol that required the same level of performance as the Offensive Handgun Weapon System. Joe Kendo customized it. Various custom parts were added such as a compensator fitted on the converted silver slide, a Picatinny-standard undermount, as well as finger channels, but the individual parts comprising the gun itself were reworked with a high degree of precision, the customizing process reconfiguring them in the process. Although not obvious at first glance, nearly every part's been modified. It's customary for firearms used by the President's direct agents to have the "Kendo" printed on the gun's side erased during the final adjustment stage out of confidentiality concerns, but this gun's owner Leon is said to have liked it so much he decided to retain the gun with it still on.

Feeling the permanently supplied 9mm bullet was inadequate as a means of combatting various crimes, S.T.A.R.S. officer Barry Burton secretly requested a custom gun from his friend, gunsmith Joe Kendo, with the view of formally adopting it within S.T.A.R.S. as an Ultimate Weapon for Anti-Zombie Combat (Lethal Weapon) concept. It might be said it was a request from a close friend, and the prototype, which Kendo poured his whole heart and soul into, was a treat no one could speak of or understand at the time. (Since that's commonplace later, Kendo's foresight is clear)
Unfortunately however, this single-handed work in Joe Kendo's life was never given to his client Barry, but it goes without saying it played an active role with Leon S. Kennedy, who discovered it by chance.
Though it's a postscript, this gun was safely returned to the client, Barry Burton, 20 years later.

The "Samurai Edge" is a famous gun that has been tuned to the extreme for members who find themselves in extreme situations. This Samurai Edge made to commemorate some sort of 20th anniversary is an extremely rare model that employs a sandy color with a military feel. Although commemorative models such as this tend to be produced with no regard for practicality, this model uses differing shades of sandy colors for its main parts. Furthermore, by finishing the sights and levers in black and giving them a gradation of color, the heightened camouflage effect boosts its combat performance. Unfortunately, there's no data on this commemorative model ever being used in live combat, but it's easy to predict that even if it were to become a reality, it would function just as well as the standard model.

A custom M92F-based gun that draws out its potential to the extent it can be called "an F1 racing car among handguns," the Samurai Edge is a famous gun with a name no one involved in the field's unaware of. In 1998, the same year it was formally adopted by S.T.A.R.S., it was used in the "Mansion Incident," proving its specs and contributing to the survival of several S.T.A.R.S. officers despite the dire circumstances they weren't prepared to face. The name Samurai Edge comes from the artistic "samurai blade" lines on the side of the Brigadier slide, as well as from the Japanese-American name of Joe Kendo. Many years had passed since the Mansion incident and Barry was finally approaching old age. He was past his peak as a warrior and probably knew better than most he could no longer control the power of the .40SW like he used to.
In light of his current physical abilities he chose the 9mm Parabellum round which is less powerful than the .40SW, but he never gave up on "sure-fire" shooting. He believed by reducing recoil as well as improving stability and portability he could gain an advantage that'd more than compensate for the power.
The new system's designed to be handled as if it were part of the body to deliver the desired results. Barry wanted Quint to make a Samurai Edge that would allow him to perform at his best in his current self.
In response to Barry's request, Quint collected and analyzed Barry's personal data, including his height and weight, then had heated debates with Barry based on the data. Although there was a big gap at first between Barry's firm ideas about guns and the optimal solutions backed by Quint's technology, knowledge, and the collected data, after repeated discussions and trial firings while buried amongst a pile of prototypes, this gun was completed.

In response to Barry Burton's request, Quint Cetcham, who boasts the BSAA's leading technology and innovations, developed the "Samurai Edge Barry Burton Model Ver.II". The base was the latest M9, which the famed Joe Kendo gave to Barry as a birthday gift. Its most distinctive feature's an enlarged compensator. Quint and Barry spent a great deal of time on this part, which contributes to stabilizing trajectory by efficiently releasing the propellant gas while also functioning as a muzzle brake. Furthermore, the center of the grip, which is a fusion of rubber and wood parts, is embedded with a gold and red medallion in Barry's signature colors, making it obvious this is a customized Barry Burton model.

He studied and verified the Samurai Edge borrowed from former S.T.A.R.S. and current BSAA member Jill Valentine, then created the "Samurai Edge A1" based on the M9A1.
After adding S.T.A.R.S. medallions to the grips as well as S.T.A.R.S. and Custom Shop Kendo onto the slides, he provided the gun to Jill, who's on the frontlines of anti-bioterror.

Although the firearms supplied to them are mainly portable high-performance handguns, firearms made for military and law enforcement organizations aren't developed with special situations like bioterrorism and biological weapons in mind.
It could be said providing agents facing special situations and operations with gear developed "for proprietary use" daily was a natural course of events.
A giant anti-bioterror force called the "FBC" (Federal Bioterrorism Commission) once existed in the United States of America. As a military unit tasked with suppressing bioterrorism, the FBC was an organization of a different composition than the DSO, but it also developed dedicated gear using its abundant financial power, comparable to the military budget of a small country.
This specialized anti-bioterror gear development project was codenamed "Sentinel."
The Sentinel Project also vanished as a result of the FBC's dissolution.
However, the Sentinel Project has been revived by the DSO which had its eyes on a vast quantity of data, such as analysis of various equipment and manufactured prototypes devised in this project, as well as the unique circumstances brought about by bioterrorism.
A notable agent of the DSO named Leon S. Kennedy, having experienced scenes of bioterror time and time again, participated as a supervisor in the Sentinel Project revived by the DSO. This gun was developed to meet three keywords presented by he who had experienced many battles, "versatility", "stability" and "certainty."

This gun's the standard model of the Samurai Edge, a custom gun officially adopted by S.T.A.R.S., its creator Joe Kendo's craftsmanship customized the "M92F semi-auto handgun" and raised it to the level of an F1 racing car.
In order to use a special heavy round that fires a 9x19mm bullet at an initial velocity of the .357 magnum class, the Brigadier style was adopted to increase the thickness of the slide lock. Its sharply angled silhouette and silver barrel are reminiscent of a samurai blade, hence it was named Samurai Edge.
Eight S.T.A.R.S. officers excluding Chris, Jill, Barry and Wesker appear to have used this standard model, but because of the Mansion Incident that occurred immediately after it was formally adopted, it's presently difficult to verify its status of use.

At the time of the Mansion Incident, she belonged to S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team and her position was RS (Rear Security). She had dexterous hands, adept at opening locks with lock picks and also capable in handling explosives. She survived the Mansion Incident making full use of these special skills.
Upon returning from the Mansion Incident, she began independently investigating Umbrella's main facility in Raccoon City.
However, the situation suddenly changed as the "t-Virus" leaked into the city in the midst of her investigation, and she was pursued by the new B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapon) "Nemesis-T Type" deployed after the chaos. After that, she escaped Raccoon City after learning the U.S. Government was executing an attack on the city, the "Sterilization Strategy".
She joined the BSAA (anti-bioterror unit) with Chris in search of new fights against bioterrorism which had begun spreading throughout the world following Umbrella's destruction.
She contributed to resolving the "Queen Zenobia Incident" with Chris and a new partner, Parker.
Following that, during the "Spencer Estate Storming Operation" held in August 2006, she fell from a cliff along with Wesker in an effort to protect Chris and went missing, later being declared killed in the line of duty by the BSAA on November 23th the same year.
However although she was kept alive by Wesker, who was intrigued by Jill's internal changes, then temporarily manipulated by Wesker, she was released from that control through Chris' success and came back alive.

A LIVING LEGEND WHO HAS MADE IT THROUGH MANY SCENES OF BLOODSHED
He belonged to S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team at the time of the Mansion Incident. His position was PM (Point Man).
He boasted the No.1 shooting techniques in the elite team and was always active as an ace. He had a career as a former US Air Force pilot and also has a helicopter flying license. After leaving the military because of a confrontation with his superiors, his superior combat skills were valued and he was scouted to S.T.A.R.S. His parents are already dead and he has a sister named Claire.
In the "Rockfort Incident" which occurred after the Mansion Incident, he confronted Albert Wesker. At that time, he developed a conscious mind to eradicate bioterrorism.
He was involved in the formation of the BSAA and afterwards belonged to the BSAA North America Branch. He was one of the eleven individuals who were founding members of the BSAA, popularly called the "Original Eleven." He was bestowed Level 10 and very high action authority.
At the time of the Spencer Estate Storming Operation conducted in August 2006, Jill protected Chris and fell to the bottom of a cliff along with Wesker, and as a result, Jill was temporarily declared killed in the line of duty.

A FIREARMS EXPERT WHO SURVIVED THE MANSION INCIDENT
He belonged to S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team during the Mansion Incident. His position was BUM (Backup Man). There was a time in the past where he was in the same military unit as Chris, and after being discharged, he joined S.T.A.R.S. after being a S.W.A.T. member. He was in charge of maintaining and replenishing firearms, making use of his extensive gun knowledge and prior combat experience.
His personality's warm and kind with a strong sense of responsibility. At home he's a good husband and father and always cares about his wife and two daughters (Moira and Polly) while on duty.
On the other hand, he's a famously big gun nut and had a privately close relationship with Robert Kendo, owner of "Kendo Gun Shop" near the Raccoon Police Department, whom he asked to remodel the S.T.A.R.S. standard handgun Samurai Edge, and he contributed to its powerful finish.
After the Mansion Incident, he served as a BSAA advisor and although he reached a veteran level, the anti-bioterror professional Barry was highly proficient in not only shooting but also close-quarters combat.

A ROOKIE WHO SURVIVED THE ECLIPTIC EXPRESS INCIDENT & MANSION INCIDENT IN HER CAREER
At the time of the Mansion Incident, she was on the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. Her position was RS (Rear Security). She was an expert in refining and compounding drugs and was primarily responsible for health.
With exceptional knowledge about chemistry, she graduated college at the age of 18 with a bachelor's degree after achieving brilliant results. She was recognized for her talent and scouted by the elite S.T.A.R.S.
Although she's somewhat quick to act with unshakeable nerves, there were times she seemed to expose her immaturity, such as hesitating in unfamiliar situations when considering whether to act boldly.
Her ability to survive while many veterans were lost is noteworthy.

A VICE-CAPTAIN WITH OUTSTANDING SURVIVAL ABILITIES
S.T.A.R.S. Vice-Captain and Leader of Bravo Team. A popular veteran with long-running survival techniques.
He boasted an unshakably tough strength of mind, and in the case of the Mansion Incident, he overcame several difficulties and discovered the truth, putting his capabilities on display.
Ironically his abilities were such a threat he lost his life, as they could've been very troublesome for Umbrella.

After breaking into the mansion during the Mansion Incident, he was attacked by a Zombie and lost his life. Perhaps he was attacked while performing recon, having assumed they were "human"... Recorded footage of his death remains and securing it was a priority at that time.

A GIANT WHO BECAME THE FIRST VICTIM AMONG THE OFFICERS
A member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team who was 193cm tall, records indicate that despite being the tallest man on the team, his hobby was dancing.
During the "Ecliptic Express Incident", he went searching with a rifle but died after being attacked by creatures. Unfortunately, no detailed records appear to have been documented at the time of his death, but the circumstances seem to be that he eventually turned into a Zombie.

A MASTER MARSKMAN WHOSE PERFECT WORK GLOWS
Mainly in charge of maintenance in S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. He was known for his marksmanship skills at the time and had a reputaion for flawless work.
His marksmanship's particularly comparable to Alpha Team's Chris. He seemed to have demonstrated his skill in the Mansion Incident, but by the time Alpha Team arrived, he'd met his end with a completely changed appearance. And who would've imagined he'd prove his combat prowess after resurrecting as a Zombie...
Brad Vickers
A MANSION INCIDENT SURVIVOR WHO TRIED SURVIVING REGARDLESS
S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team chemical protection officer in charge of helicopter piloting.
During the Mansion Incident he participated as a helicopter pilot in the search for Bravo Team, but was not involved in investigating the laboratory as he was waiting in the sky, and no data worth noting remains.
At the time of the Raccoon Incident, he fell into a panic due to the terrible sights spreading all over Raccoon City and ran around aimlessly trying to escape, but he was unable to shake off the "Pursuer" and met a tragic end. His actions have proven prioritizing evacuation over facing creatures unprepared leads to an increased survival rate.
Joseph Frost
A MOOD MAKER WHOSE BELLIGERENT PERSONALITY WORKS AGAINST HIM
In charge of weapons maintenance on S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team. Remaining records say he was a cheerful mood maker.
Although he was considered an ideal man for collecting combat data due to his militant nature, he was killed by a pack of Cerberus while searching for Bravo Team. He became the first victim in the Mansion Incident. Contrary to his premature departure, the footage he left has long been used as research material.

SHOWS HIS DEDICATED DEVOTION IN EXTREME SITUATIONS
A bright and friendly young man belonging to S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. During missions he was mainly responsible for communications.
During the Mansion Incident he cared for the rookie Rebecca and helped her survive. Despite being in a critical condition due to the venomous fangs of a giant snake, he got over the crisis somehow. Afterwards, he died a devoted death to save the members of Alpha Team who saved him.

FROM A ROOKIE POLICE OFFICER TO ONE OF THE WORLD'S TOP ELITE AGENTS
When he was a 21-year-old police officer, he was faced with the Raccoon Incident on the day he arrived at his post in the Raccoon Police. His accidental lateness also let him narrowly escape.
Having survived the incident with Chris' sister Claire as well as Sherry, daughter of Umbrella scientist William Birkin, a U.S. agent scouted him for his extraordinary survival capabilities.
Time passed, and the U.S. President's daughter Ashley Graham was abducted.
Leon flew to Europe alone in response to a search and rescue order then learned the objective of the cult Los Iluminados' leader Osmund Saddler, the mastermind behind the abduction case, was to reign at the top of the world using the "Plaga" parasite that can manipulate its host at will, and he put a stop to that ambition.
After that he worked with his ally, U.S. President Adam Benford, to form the DSO (Division of Security Operations), an organization commanded directly by the President.

A FIREARMS EXPERT WHO SURVIVED THE MANSION INCIDENT
He belonged to S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team during the Mansion Incident. His position was BUM (Backup Man). There was a time in the past where he was in the same military unit as Chris, and after being discharged, he joined S.T.A.R.S. after being a S.W.A.T. member. He was in charge of maintaining and replenishing firearms, making use of his extensive gun knowledge and prior combat experience.
His personality's warm and kind with a strong sense of responsibility. At home he's a good husband and father and always cares about his wife and two daughters (Moira and Polly) while on duty.
On the other hand, he's a famously big gun nut and had a privately close relationship with Robert Kendo, owner of "Kendo Gun Shop" near the Raccoon Police Department, whom he asked to remodel the S.T.A.R.S. standard handgun Samurai Edge, and he contributed to its powerful finish.
After the Mansion Incident, he served as a BSAA advisor and although he reached a veteran level, the anti-bioterror professional Barry was highly proficient in not only shooting but also close-quarters combat.
Rebecca Chambers
A ROOKIE WHO SURVIVED THE ECLIPTIC EXPRESS INCIDENT & MANSION INCIDENT IN HER CAREER
At the time of the Mansion Incident, she was on the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. Her position was RS (Rear Security). She was an expert in refining and compounding drugs and was primarily responsible for health.
With exceptional knowledge about chemistry, she graduated college at the age of 18 with a bachelor's degree after achieving brilliant results. She was recognized for her talent and scouted by the elite S.T.A.R.S.
Although she's somewhat quick to act with unshakeable nerves, there were times she seemed to expose her immaturity, such as hesitating in unfamiliar situations when considering whether to act boldly.
Her ability to survive while many veterans were lost is noteworthy.

A VICE-CAPTAIN WITH OUTSTANDING SURVIVAL ABILITIES
S.T.A.R.S. Vice-Captain and Leader of Bravo Team. A popular veteran with long-running survival techniques.
He boasted an unshakably tough strength of mind, and in the case of the Mansion Incident, he overcame several difficulties and discovered the truth, putting his capabilities on display.
Ironically his abilities were such a threat he lost his life, as they could've been very troublesome for Umbrella.

THE ELDEST MEMBER WITH AMPLE EXPERIENCE
A member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team who conducted dangerous tasks such as reconnaissance and securing positions.
After breaking into the mansion during the Mansion Incident, he was attacked by a Zombie and lost his life. Perhaps he was attacked while performing recon, having assumed they were "human"... Recorded footage of his death remains and securing it was a priority at that time.

A GIANT WHO BECAME THE FIRST VICTIM AMONG THE OFFICERS
A member of S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team who was 193cm tall, records indicate that despite being the tallest man on the team, his hobby was dancing.
During the "Ecliptic Express Incident", he went searching with a rifle but died after being attacked by creatures. Unfortunately, no detailed records appear to have been documented at the time of his death, but the circumstances seem to be that he eventually turned into a Zombie.

A MASTER MARSKMAN WHOSE PERFECT WORK GLOWS
Mainly in charge of maintenance in S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. He was known for his marksmanship skills at the time and had a reputaion for flawless work.
His marksmanship's particularly comparable to Alpha Team's Chris. He seemed to have demonstrated his skill in the Mansion Incident, but by the time Alpha Team arrived, he'd met his end with a completely changed appearance. And who would've imagined he'd prove his combat prowess after resurrecting as a Zombie...
Brad Vickers
A MANSION INCIDENT SURVIVOR WHO TRIED SURVIVING REGARDLESS
S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team chemical protection officer in charge of helicopter piloting.
During the Mansion Incident he participated as a helicopter pilot in the search for Bravo Team, but was not involved in investigating the laboratory as he was waiting in the sky, and no data worth noting remains.
At the time of the Raccoon Incident, he fell into a panic due to the terrible sights spreading all over Raccoon City and ran around aimlessly trying to escape, but he was unable to shake off the "Pursuer" and met a tragic end. His actions have proven prioritizing evacuation over facing creatures unprepared leads to an increased survival rate.
Joseph Frost
A MOOD MAKER WHOSE BELLIGERENT PERSONALITY WORKS AGAINST HIM
In charge of weapons maintenance on S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team. Remaining records say he was a cheerful mood maker.
Although he was considered an ideal man for collecting combat data due to his militant nature, he was killed by a pack of Cerberus while searching for Bravo Team. He became the first victim in the Mansion Incident. Contrary to his premature departure, the footage he left has long been used as research material.

SHOWS HIS DEDICATED DEVOTION IN EXTREME SITUATIONS
A bright and friendly young man belonging to S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team. During missions he was mainly responsible for communications.
During the Mansion Incident he cared for the rookie Rebecca and helped her survive. Despite being in a critical condition due to the venomous fangs of a giant snake, he got over the crisis somehow. Afterwards, he died a devoted death to save the members of Alpha Team who saved him.

When he was a 21-year-old police officer, he was faced with the Raccoon Incident on the day he arrived at his post in the Raccoon Police. His accidental lateness also let him narrowly escape.
Having survived the incident with Chris' sister Claire as well as Sherry, daughter of Umbrella scientist William Birkin, a U.S. agent scouted him for his extraordinary survival capabilities.
Time passed, and the U.S. President's daughter Ashley Graham was abducted.
Leon flew to Europe alone in response to a search and rescue order then learned the objective of the cult Los Iluminados' leader Osmund Saddler, the mastermind behind the abduction case, was to reign at the top of the world using the "Plaga" parasite that can manipulate its host at will, and he put a stop to that ambition.
After that he worked with his ally, U.S. President Adam Benford, to form the DSO (Division of Security Operations), an organization commanded directly by the President.
As a result of his prior experiences, he deeply resents bioterrorism. His personality's calm and composed but he has the flexibility to act boldly according to the situation.
Although Leon began to mature as an agent and behaved more cautiously, his occasional humor and strong sense of justice have remained the same ever since the time he was assigned to Raccoon City as a rookie police officer.
Though Adam was attempting to reveal the truth of Raccoon City, he was embroiled in the bioterror attack that occurred in Tall Oaks and ran through the now hellish town, then prevented its expansion alongside Chris.

短縮されたバレルとスタンダード形状のスライドは汎用性が高く、状況を選ばない。ビーバーテイルを備えチェッカー処理されたフレームは常に高精度射撃を補助する。統一された黒の耐環境塗装は極地でも安定した動作を保証する。文字通り極限までパフォーマンスを高めた究極の量産モデルである。
現在は様々なバイオテロ対策を担うBSAAのS.O.U.標準装備として採用されており、多くの実績をあげている。
トールハンマー ＜アルバート.W.モデル 02＞
対人に留まらない特殊な状況に対応するには、これまでの「点」による制圧ではなく、「面」での制圧を可能とする火器が必要となることは、実際の現場を知る者であれば、喫緊の課題である。
その課題に対する答えの一つとして考え出されたのが「ALBERT.W.MODEL 02」である。ショットガンの制圧力とマシンガンの連射力を兼ね備えた本銃は供給直後より、前線から熱烈な歓迎を受けることとなった。
新型銃ながらも、今後のフィードバックを得て信頼性も高まることが見込まれ、今後のアンブレラの主力を担う武器になることが期待されている。
サムライエッジ ＜アルバート.W.モデル 01＞
一度目にすればもう忘れることはないであろうその外観からは想像も付かないほど、高い実用性を誇る「ALBERT.W.MODEL 01」。
隠密行動と非常に高い相性を誇る「オクタゴン・サイレンサー」は手練れが使用することによって、その存在を気付かれる前に障害を取り除くことが可能。
また、「ライトアダプター・モジュール」を使用すれば、暗闇の中でも任務を実行することが可能である。
言うまでもなく、ベースとなる「サムライエッジ」の拡張性に余裕があったからこそ、「ALBERT.W.MODEL 01」が生まれたと言える。
サムライエッジ ＜スペシャルカラーバリエーション＞
基本的なスペックはサムライエッジ スタンダードモデルと同一だが、これまでに確認されているサムライエッジとは異なり、サンド系のカラーを採用しているカスタムモデル。
制作の意図は不明だが、複数の製造が確認できることから、個人レベルではなく、組織レベルで発注が行われたと思われる。
主要パーツに濃淡の異なるサンド系のカラーを採用し、サイトやレバー類をブラックに仕上げて全体に階調を持たせ、カモフラージュ効果を高める工夫をしていることから、背後には十分な経験を持った組織が関わっていることが予想できる。
現時点では詳細は不明だが、新しい情報が入り次第、更新を行う予定である。

あの「洋館事件」から長い年月が過ぎ、バリーはついに老境に差し掛かろうとしていた。戦士としてのピークを過ぎ、もはや昔のように.40SWのパワーを制御できないということは、彼自身が一番理解していただろう。
今の自分の身体能力を鑑みて.40SWよりパワーで劣る9mmパラベラム弾を選んだ彼は、決して「確実に仕留める」ことを諦めたわけではない。反動を軽減し、安定性や携行性を向上させることで、パワーを補うだけのアドバンテージが得られると考えたのだ。
まるで身体の一部のように思うがまま操り、狙い通りの結果を叩き出す。「今の自分」が最高のパフォーマンスを引き出すことができるそんなサムライエッジを、バリーはクエントに望んでいた。
バリーの要望に応えるべく、クエントはバリーの身長や体重を始めとするパーソナルデータを採取/分析し、その内容を元にバリーと激論。バリーの銃に対する確固たる思想と、クエントの技術と知識、採取されたデータに裏付けされた最適解には、最初は大きな隔たりがあったものの、議論を重ね、試作の山に埋もれながら、試射を繰り返し、完成したのが本銃である。
サムライエッジA1〈ジル・バレンタイン モデル〉
バイオテロという通常の戦闘にはない特殊な状況に対処可能な専用装備の必要性を説いたBSAAの技術開発部部長代理補佐であるクエントは、かつてラクーンシティ市警特殊部隊S.T.A.R.S.がM92Fを独自にカスタマイズした「サムライエッジ」に着目。
元S.T.A.R.S.であり現BSAAであるジル・バレンタイから借り受けた「サムライエッジ」を研究・検証し、新たにM9A1ベースで「サムライエッジA1」を作り上げた。
その後、この銃は対バイオテロの最前線で活躍しているジルに提供されたが、その際にグリップにはS.T.A.R.S.のメダリオン、スライドにはS.T.A.R.S.とカスタムショップ・ケンドの刻印が追加されている。

センチネル ナイン〈レオン モデル〉
綿密な調査や諜報活動が主となるDSOエージェントたちの作戦行動。
彼らに支給される銃火器類は、携行性がある高性能なハンドガンがメインだが、軍や警察向けに開発された銃火器はバイオテロのように特殊な状況、生物兵器を想定して開発されたものではない。
DSOが、エージェントたちが対峙する特殊な状況や作戦に備えた「専用」の装備開発を日々行い、支給するという考えに至ったのは、当然の流れだと言える。
かつて、アメリカ合衆国には「FBC（Federal Bioterrorism Commission）」とよばれる大規模な対バイオテロ部隊が存在していた。FBCはバイオテロの鎮圧を目的とした部隊であり、DSOとは異なる性質をもつ組織だったが、小国の軍事予算に匹敵するほどの潤沢な資金力による専用の装備開発も行なわれていた。
対バイオテロに特化したこの装備開発計画には「センチネル」というコードネームがつけられている。
FBCの解散によってセンチネル・プロジェクトも自然と消滅した。
しかしこの計画で考案された様々な装備、製造された試作品、バイオテロがもたらす特殊な状況についての分析といった膨大なデータに目をつけたDSOによって、センチネル・プロジェクトは復活することとなったのである。
DSOによって復活したセンチネル・プロジェクトには、幾度となくバイオテロの現場を経験してきたDSOの代表的エージェント、レオン・S・ケネディがスーパーバイザーとして参加。幾多の実戦を経験した彼が提示する「汎用性」「確実性」「安定性」という3つのキーワードを満たすべく開発されたのが本銃である。

経験豊富なエージェントであるレオンが提示したエージェントの装備に必要な要素「汎用性」「確実性」「安定性」を満たすべく開発された「センチネルナイン」。レオンが選択した「SIGP226E2」をペースに惜しみないカスタマイズが施された本統は恐らくレオンの厳しい要求を満たした仕上がりとなつていることだろう。「センチネルナイン」には数丁の先行生産型が存在するものの、受領する前にトールオークスのバイオテロが発生したため、実際にその手に渡つたのは事件後とのこと。その後実戦データが収集されていると思われる。なお、スライドの側面にはDSOのモットーである「PEACE THROUGH FIGHTING(戦うことで平和を手に入れる）」と打刻されている。あの組織にふさわしいモットーではないだろうか。

SG-09 R
バイオテロで用いられる生物兵器は加速度的に進化し、環境や状況次第で更なる変態を遂げる個体すら確認されていた。初期の対抗組織において、これら対象を想定しきれない状態下での装備選定は大きな課題であった。
そのため、大統領直轄のエージェントには画一的な装備を採用するのではなく、各エージェントが必要とする性能基準の設定を行い、装備調達のサポートを組織が行う体制がとられた。そういった経緯の元で、ガンスミスのジョー・ケンドによりカスタムされた一挺が「SG-09 R」だ。
『H&K USPをカスタムベースとしながらも、殺傷性の高い.45ACP弾モデルではなく、多弾倉性や低反動性が有利な9mmパラベラム弾モデルをベースとして採用している点をはじめ、コンペンセイターやフィンガーチャンネルなど、安定性を重視したパーツの装着が見受けられる。
さらには内部の各部品の再調整の跡も確認され、「安定動作、高精度、堅剛性、重量バランス」 のいずれも高い性能水準でまとめられている。』
これら「SG-09 R」の性能解析結果は、「ラクーン事件」を生還したエージェントが求めた性能基準の一端をうかがい知ることができ、またジョー・ケンドのカスタム技術の高さを証明していると言えるだろう。

対B.O.W.を想定し、攻撃型拳銃火器システム並みの性能が要求された一挺。ジョー•ケンドによりカスタムが施された。換装されたシルバースライドにフィットする形状のコンペンセイター、ピカティニー規格を採用したアンダーマウント、フィンガーチャンネル等、様々なカスタムパーツを追加装着しているが、銃本体を構成する個々のパーツそのものを高精度に再加工し、再構成するカスタムが行われており、一見しただけでは分からないが、ほぼ全てのパーツに手が入っている。大統領直属のエージェントが使用する銃火器では側面の「Kendo」の印字等は秘匿性を理由に最終調整段階で消去されるのが通例だが、所有者となるレオンが気に入ったため、残されたままで受領されることになった、と言われている。

BSAA S.O.U. member
世界中から出資され設立された、対B.O.W.最強部隊
世界中に支部を待つ、対バイオテロ専門部隊BSAA（Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance）は、アンブレラ社による大規模バイオハザードに端を発し顕在化したバイオテロ（細菌、ウィルス、遺伝子操作生物を用いたテロリズム）の脅威を目の当たりにした社会不安の背景から2003年に設立された。バイオテロによる不安の矛先は事件の発端となった製薬企業連盟に向けられ、生物兵器開発の道義的責任を問われる形となった製薬企業連盟は、失地回復の為に巨額の出資を行いバイオ災害専門の組織を設立する。それがBSAA（Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance）の母体となったといわれる。創設初期は企業の利益保護が優先された活動と過度な武装が批判の対象となったが、後に国連による管理統合が行われ、理念そのものが大幅に充足された。緊急を要する人道的救援活動を行う際には国連決議を事後として即時展開できる旨、各国政府との取り決めがなされた超法規的な行動権限を有している。設立に関わる予算の多くが製薬企業連盟からの出資によるものである事などから、出資企業の事故処理要員ではないかとの批判も存在する。現在では英国S.A.S.を上回る規模となり、国連独自の管理部門としては最大の組織となる。
BSAA内の実行部隊であるS.O.U.（Special Operations Unit）の構成員は軍隊や法執行機関の経験者からの転属が多く、元私兵や研究員という隊員も存在する。ラクーン事件での活躍が有名な、クリス・レッドフィールド、ジル・バレンタイン、バリー・バートンも所属しており、その構成員の幅の広さが伺える。また、特定の高スキル者のみを集めたチームも存在しており、オリジナルイレブンと呼ばれ特別な権限を与えている事も暗に認めている。
隊員の行動はレベル１〜１０といった形で権限規定がなされており、戦闘を伴う活動を行うS.O.U.にはレベル４以上の権限が付与される。隊員は、射撃、体術に加え、特殊機器のオペレーション技術などの習得に対し、高い水準が要求される。
世界各国の軍隊に比べて治安維持や駆除に投入される機会が多く、実戦経験が群を抜いて豊富であることから、各国の特殊部隊員からもその戦闘力を高く評価されている。中でも米DEA（アメリカ麻薬取締局）と共同で行われた中南米麻薬カルテル撲滅作戦（遺伝子操作麻薬の摘発）の際、参加した複数のDEA隊員から「人類では相手にできない。」と評された逸話から一気にその実力が世間に拡散する。ただこの時の参加チームには先述のオリジナルイレブンが含まれていた為との説もある。
装備も非公開であったが近年活動の機会が増え、撮影された画像が公開される度に実態が明らかになってきており、その特殊性が話題に登る事も増えた。隠蔽体質との批判をかわす為か近年刊行されたSURVIVE MAGAZINEにて、S.O.U.の装備と思しきプライマリー、セカンダリーウェポンが特集され、特別に開発された兵装の存在が明らかになるなど広報活動も活発になりつつある。
ただ莫大な活動費に関して問題になる事も多く、英国議会で開かれた公聴会に提出された出資元リストに、再建されたネオアンブレラ社（連盟非加盟）が名を連ねていた事から、倫理的な問題として世界中のマスコミにも大きく取り上げられるなど依然として世間からの風当たりは強い。2018年現在、ネオアンブレラ社が行っているB.O.W.撲滅活動に協力する為、一部の部隊が出向し特殊事案処理としてバイオテロの抑止活動に貢献しているとされるが、その活動自体に疑問を呈する声も多い。

豊富な実戦経験を誇る歴戦の勇士
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチームに所属し、ポジションはRS（リア・セキュリティ）。手先が器用で爆発物処理にも堪能し、キーピックによるカギ開けも得意。これらの特技を駆使して「洋館事件」から生還。
「洋館事件」から生還後は、単独でラクーンシティ内にあるアンブレラの主要施設の調査を開始。
しかし、調査中に街に「t-ウィルス」が流出したことから事態は急変し、混乱に乗じて投入された新型B.O.W.（生物兵器）「ネメシス-T型」からの追跡を受ける。その後、米国政府によるラクーンシティへの攻撃「滅菌作戦」が行われることを知り、ラクーンシティから脱出。
アンブレラ壊滅後は世界に蔓延し始めたバイオテロとの新たな闘いの場を求めて、クリスと共にBSAA(対バイオテロ部隊)に参加。
クリスや新パートナーのパーカーとともに「クイーン・ゼノビア事件」の解決に貢献。
その後、2006年8月に行われた「スペンサー邸突入作戦」にて、クリスをかばうためにウェスカーと共に崖から転落し消息不明となり、同年11月23日にBSAAから殉職したと認定される。
しかし、ジルの体内の変化に興味を持ったウェスカーによって生かされていた彼女は一時ウェスカーに操られたものの、クリスの活躍によりそのコントロールを解かれ生還を果たす。
Chris Redfield
数多くの修羅場をくぐり抜けてきた生ける伝説
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチーム所属。ポジションはPM（ポイントマン）。
エリート揃いのチーム内でNo1.の射撃技術を誇り、常にエースとして活躍。元米空軍のパイロットという経歴を持ち、ヘリの操縦免許も所有。上官との意見対立を理由に除隊後、その優れた戦闘技術を買われて、S.T.A.R.S.にスカウトされた。両親は既に他界しており、「クレア」という名の妹がいる。
「洋館事件」後に発生した「ロックフォート事件」ではアルバート・ウェスカーと対峙。その際にバイオテロ根絶の意識を強くする。
その後はBSAAの創設に関わり、BSAA北米支部に所属。BSAA(対バイオテロ部隊）創設メンバーの11人、通称「オリジナル・イレブン」の一人に数えられている。レベル10と非常に高い行動権を与えられている。
2006年8月に行われた「スペンサー邸突入作戦」時、クリスをかばったジルはウェスカーを道連れに谷底に落下、その結果ジルは一時的に殉職認定されることとなる。
そして、2009年に殉職扱いされている元相棒のジルに関する情報をつかんだ彼はBSAAアフリカ支部が行った「リカルド・アーヴィング逮捕作戦」にバックアップとして参加。一連の事件を経てジルとの再会を果たす。
その後、2012年イドニア共和国での作戦行動中に負傷、記憶を喪失し、東欧で酒びたりの隠遁生活を送っていたが、部下であるピアーズに叱責され、前線へ復帰。レオンとともに世界規模となったバイオテロの拡大を阻止する。
現在はアンブレラに所属。強靭な肉体と不屈の精神力、統率力の持ち主でこれまでに数々のバイオテロを解決に導いてきた。
さまざまなエージェントが活躍する中でも別格の「英雄」と呼ばれるにふさわしい人物である。
Barry Burton
洋館事件から生還した銃火器のエキスパート
「洋館事件」時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチーム所属。ポジションはBUM（バックアップマン）。過去にクリスと同じ部隊に籍を置いていた時期があり、除隊後はS.W.A.T.隊員を経てS.T.A.R.S.に入隊。それまでの実戦経験と幅広い銃に関する知識を生かして火器の整備や補充を担当していた。
正確は温厚で情に厚く、責任感も強い。家庭では良き夫、良き父親で、任務中も常に愛する妻と2人の娘（モイラ＆ポリー）のことを気にかけている。
一方でかなりのガンマニアとしても有名で、ラクーンシティ警察署近くにある「ケンド銃砲店」のオーナー、ロバート・ケンドとはプライベートで親しい関係にあり、S.T.A.R.S.の制式拳銃「サムライエッジ」の改造を依頼し、そのバワフルな仕上がりに貢献。
「洋館事件」後はBSAAのアドバイザーを務め、ベテランの域に達してはいるものの、対バイオテロのプロフェッショナルであるバリーは、射撃はもちろん、接近戦における高い能力も健在。
Rebecca Chambers
黄道特急事件と洋館事件を生き抜いた経歴を持つ新人
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチーム所属。ポジションはRS（リア・セキュリティ）。薬品の精製と調合に関するエキスパートで、主に衛生を担当していた。
ずば抜けた化学関係の知識を持ち、18歳の若さで大学の学士課程を優秀な成績を修めて卒業。その才能が認められ、精鋭揃いのS.T.A.R.S.に抜擢された。
行動派で多少のことでは動じない度胸の持ち主だが、大胆な行動に出るかと思えば、慣れない状況に躊躇するなど、未熟な部分を見せることもあった。
多くのベテラン隊員が脱落した中、生還を果たした彼女のサバイバル能力は特筆に値すると言える。
Enrico Marini
屈指のサバイバル能力を誇る副隊長
S.T.A.R.S.副隊長にして、ブラヴォーチームのリーダー。サバイバル技術に長じた人望厚きベテラン。
何事にも動じない強靭な精神力を誇り、「洋館事件」の際は様々な困難を乗り越えて真相に気付くなど、その能力を余すところなく発揮。
その能力の高さから、アンブレラにとって非常に危険な存在となり得るため命を落とすことになったのは皮肉とも言える。
Kenneth J. Sullivan
豊富な経験を持つ最年長メンバー
偵察や陣地確保などの危険な任務を進んでこなすS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームのメンバー。
「洋館事件」では洋館に突入後、ゾンビに襲われ敢えなく最期を迎えることとなる。「人間」を想定した偵察を行って襲われたのだろうか・・・。なお、彼の最期を記録した映像が残されており、その確保は当時の優先事項であった。
Edward Dewey
メンバー最初の犠牲者となった巨漢
身長は193cmとチーム一の巨漢ながらも、趣味はダンスだったという記録が残っているS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームのメンバー。
「黄道特急事件」ではライフルを持って探索に出たものの、クリーチャーの襲撃により死亡。残念なことに死亡時の詳細な記録は残されていない模様だが、現場の状況から最終的にはゾンビ化したと思われる。
Forest Speyer
完璧な仕事ぶりが光る射撃の名手
S.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームで主に整備を担当。当時から射撃の名手として知られ、完璧な仕事ぶりには定評があった。
特に射撃の腕前はアルファチームのクリスに匹敵するほど。その腕前は「洋館事件」でも発揮されたかと思われるが、アルファチームが到着したころには変わり果てた姿で最期を迎えていた。そしてゾンビとして蘇り、その戦闘力を証明することになるとは、誰が想像できたであろう・・・。
Brad Vickers
何としても生き延びようとした洋館事件の生還者
S.T.A.R.S.アルファチームに所属し、チーム内では化学防護要員およびヘリの操縦を担当していた。
「洋館事件」の際には、ヘリのパイロットとしてブラヴォーチームの捜索任務には参加したものの、上空で待機していたため研究所の探索には参加しておらず、注目に値するデータは残されていない。
「ラクーン事件」の際はラクーンシティ全土に広がった惨状によりパニックに陥り、ゾンビからは上手く逃げ回るも、「追跡者」を振り切ることはできず、悲惨な最期を迎える。クリーチャー相手に中途半端に立ち向かうよりも、退避を優先した方が生存率の上昇に繋がることは彼の行動が証明している。
Joseph Frost
好戦的な性格が災いしたムードメーカー
S.T.A.R.S.アルファチームの武器整備を担当。陽気なムードメーカーだったとの記録が残っている。
好戦的な性格のため、戦闘データの収集にはうってつけの人材と目されていたものの、ブラヴォーチームの捜索中にケルベロスの群れに襲われて絶命。「洋館事件」における最初の犠牲者となる。そのあまりにも早い退場とは裏腹に、彼の残した映像は研究材料として長く使用されることとなった。
Richard Aiken
極限状況で見せた語り継がれる献身
S.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームに所属する明るく気さくな好青年。任務中は主に通信を担当していた。
「洋館事件」では新人であるレベッカを何かと気遣い、その生還に貢献。大蛇ヨーンの毒牙に掛かり瀕死の状態となるも、何とか危機を乗り越える。その後、自分を救ってくれたアルファチームの隊員を救うために献身的な最期を遂げる。

新人警官から世界屈指のトップエージェントへ
当時21歳の若き警察官だった彼は、ラクーン市警着任当日に「ラクーン事件」に遭遇。偶然にも遅刻したことが功を奏し、命拾いすることとなった。
クリスの妹であるクレアとアンブレラの研究員であったウィリアム・バーキンの娘、シェリーと共に事件を生き延びたレオンは、並はずれたサバイバル能力を見込まれ、アメリカ合衆国のエージェントにスカウトされる。
時は流れ、アメリカ合衆国大統領の令嬢アシュリー・グラハムが誘拐される「大統領令嬢誘拐事件」が発生。
レオンは捜査並びに救出の指令を受けて単身ヨーロッパへ飛び、誘拐事件の首謀者である「ロス・イルミナドス教団」の教祖オズムンド・サドラーの狙いが、宿主を意のままに操れる寄生体「プラーガ」を使った世界の頂点への君臨であることを知り、その野望を阻止する。
その後は盟友であるアメリカ大統領であったアダム・ベンフォードとともに大統領直轄機関・DSO（Division of Security Operations）の設立に尽力。
かつての経験から、バイオテロに対して強い憤りを抱いている。性格は冷静沈着だが、状況に合わせ大胆な行動に出る柔軟性も持ち合わせている。
エージェントとして円熟し始めたレオンは、その言動に慎重さが増すようになったが、時折軽口を叩くユーモアや、強い正義感は、かつて新米警官としてラクーンシティに配属された時から変わっていない。
ラクーンシティの真実を明かそうとするアダムがトールオークスで発生したバイオテロに巻き込まれるも地獄と化した街を駆け抜け、クリスとともにその拡大を阻止する。

アルバート.W.モデル 01P
「ALBERT.W.MODEL 01」をベースとした廉価モデルではなく、汎用性を高めたパフォーマンスモデル。サムライエッジ系では初の量産モデルであり、バトルプルーフの到達点として設計された。
短縮されたバレルとスタンダード形状のスライドは汎用性が高く、状況を選ばない。ビーバーテイルを備えチェッカー処理されたフレームは常に高精度射撃を補助する。統一された黒の耐環境塗装は極地でも安定した動作を保証する。文字通り極限までパフォーマンスを高めた究極の量産モデルである。
現在は様々なバイオテロ対策を担うBSAAのS.O.U.標準装備として採用されており、多くの実績をあげている。
トールハンマー ＜アルバート.W.モデル 02＞
対人に留まらない特殊な状況に対応するには、これまでの「点」による制圧ではなく、「面」での制圧を可能とする火器が必要となることは、実際の現場を知る者であれば、喫緊の課題である。
その課題に対する答えの一つとして考え出されたのが「ALBERT.W.MODEL 02」である。ショットガンの制圧力とマシンガンの連射力を兼ね備えた本銃は供給直後より、前線から熱烈な歓迎を受けることとなった。
新型銃ながらも、今後のフィードバックを得て信頼性も高まることが見込まれ、今後のアンブレラの主力を担う武器になることが期待されている。
サムライエッジ ＜アルバート.W.モデル 01＞
一度目にすればもう忘れることはないであろうその外観からは想像も付かないほど、高い実用性を誇る「ALBERT.W.MODEL 01」。
隠密行動と非常に高い相性を誇る「オクタゴン・サイレンサー」は手練れが使用することによって、その存在を気付かれる前に障害を取り除くことが可能。
また、「ライトアダプター・モジュール」を使用すれば、暗闇の中でも任務を実行することが可能である。
言うまでもなく、ベースとなる「サムライエッジ」の拡張性に余裕があったからこそ、「ALBERT.W.MODEL 01」が生まれたと言える。
サムライエッジ ＜スペシャルカラーバリエーション＞
基本的なスペックはサムライエッジ スタンダードモデルと同一だが、これまでに確認されているサムライエッジとは異なり、サンド系のカラーを採用しているカスタムモデル。
制作の意図は不明だが、複数の製造が確認できることから、個人レベルではなく、組織レベルで発注が行われたと思われる。
主要パーツに濃淡の異なるサンド系のカラーを採用し、サイトやレバー類をブラックに仕上げて全体に階調を持たせ、カモフラージュ効果を高める工夫をしていることから、背後には十分な経験を持った組織が関わっていることが予想できる。
現時点では詳細は不明だが、新しい情報が入り次第、更新を行う予定である。

S.T.A.R.S.に正式採用されたサムライエッジのスタンダードモデルである本銃は、製作者であるジョウ・ケンドの巧みな技によって「M92Fセミオートハンドガン」をカスタム化し、F1のレースマシーン並みに引き上げられたカスタムガンである。
9×19mm弾を.357マグナム級の初速で発射する特殊強装弾を使用するため、スライドロック部の厚みを増したブリガーディア・スタイルを採用。その鋭角的なシルエットとシルバーのバレルがサムライの刃を連想させることから、「サムライエッジ」の名が付けられた。

サムライエッジ〈バリー・バートン モデル Ver.II〉
あの「洋館事件」から長い年月が過ぎ、バリーはついに老境に差し掛かろうとしていた。戦士としてのピークを過ぎ、もはや昔のように.40SWのパワーを制御できないということは、彼自身が一番理解していただろう。
今の自分の身体能力を鑑みて.40SWよりパワーで劣る9mmパラベラム弾を選んだ彼は、決して「確実に仕留める」ことを諦めたわけではない。反動を軽減し、安定性や携行性を向上させることで、パワーを補うだけのアドバンテージが得られると考えたのだ。
まるで身体の一部のように思うがまま操り、狙い通りの結果を叩き出す。「今の自分」が最高のパフォーマンスを引き出すことができるそんなサムライエッジを、バリーはクエントに望んでいた。
バリーの要望に応えるべく、クエントはバリーの身長や体重を始めとするパーソナルデータを採取/分析し、その内容を元にバリーと激論。バリーの銃に対する確固たる思想と、クエントの技術と知識、採取されたデータに裏付けされた最適解には、最初は大きな隔たりがあったものの、議論を重ね、試作の山に埋もれながら、試射を繰り返し、完成したのが本銃である。
サムライエッジA1〈ジル・バレンタイン モデル〉
バイオテロという通常の戦闘にはない特殊な状況に対処可能な専用装備の必要性を説いたBSAAの技術開発部部長代理補佐であるクエントは、かつてラクーンシティ市警特殊部隊S.T.A.R.S.がM92Fを独自にカスタマイズした「サムライエッジ」に着目。
元S.T.A.R.S.であり現BSAAであるジル・バレンタイから借り受けた「サムライエッジ」を研究・検証し、新たにM9A1ベースで「サムライエッジA1」を作り上げた。
その後、この銃は対バイオテロの最前線で活躍しているジルに提供されたが、その際にグリップにはS.T.A.R.S.のメダリオン、スライドにはS.T.A.R.S.とカスタムショップ・ケンドの刻印が追加されている。

センチネル ナイン〈レオン モデル〉
綿密な調査や諜報活動が主となるDSOエージェントたちの作戦行動。
彼らに支給される銃火器類は、携行性がある高性能なハンドガンがメインだが、軍や警察向けに開発された銃火器はバイオテロのように特殊な状況、生物兵器を想定して開発されたものではない。
DSOが、エージェントたちが対峙する特殊な状況や作戦に備えた「専用」の装備開発を日々行い、支給するという考えに至ったのは、当然の流れだと言える。
かつて、アメリカ合衆国には「FBC（Federal Bioterrorism Commission）」とよばれる大規模な対バイオテロ部隊が存在していた。FBCはバイオテロの鎮圧を目的とした部隊であり、DSOとは異なる性質をもつ組織だったが、小国の軍事予算に匹敵するほどの潤沢な資金力による専用の装備開発も行なわれていた。
対バイオテロに特化したこの装備開発計画には「センチネル」というコードネームがつけられている。
FBCの解散によってセンチネル・プロジェクトも自然と消滅した。
しかしこの計画で考案された様々な装備、製造された試作品、バイオテロがもたらす特殊な状況についての分析といった膨大なデータに目をつけたDSOによって、センチネル・プロジェクトは復活することとなったのである。
DSOによって復活したセンチネル・プロジェクトには、幾度となくバイオテロの現場を経験してきたDSOの代表的エージェント、レオン・S・ケネディがスーパーバイザーとして参加。幾多の実戦を経験した彼が提示する「汎用性」「確実性」「安定性」という3つのキーワードを満たすべく開発されたのが本銃である。

経験豊富なエージェントであるレオンが提示したエージェントの装備に必要な要素「汎用性」「確実性」「安定性」を満たすべく開発された「センチネルナイン」。レオンが選択した「SIGP226E2」をペースに惜しみないカスタマイズが施された本統は恐らくレオンの厳しい要求を満たした仕上がりとなつていることだろう。「センチネルナイン」には数丁の先行生産型が存在するものの、受領する前にトールオークスのバイオテロが発生したため、実際にその手に渡つたのは事件後とのこと。その後実戦データが収集されていると思われる。なお、スライドの側面にはDSOのモットーである「PEACE THROUGH FIGHTING(戦うことで平和を手に入れる）」と打刻されている。あの組織にふさわしいモットーではないだろうか。

バイオテロで用いられる生物兵器は加速度的に進化し、環境や状況次第で更なる変態を遂げる個体すら確認されていた。初期の対抗組織において、これら対象を想定しきれない状態下での装備選定は大きな課題であった。
そのため、大統領直轄のエージェントには画一的な装備を採用するのではなく、各エージェントが必要とする性能基準の設定を行い、装備調達のサポートを組織が行う体制がとられた。そういった経緯の元で、ガンスミスのジョー・ケンドによりカスタムされた一挺が「SG-09 R」だ。
『H&K USPをカスタムベースとしながらも、殺傷性の高い.45ACP弾モデルではなく、多弾倉性や低反動性が有利な9mmパラベラム弾モデルをベースとして採用している点をはじめ、コンペンセイターやフィンガーチャンネルなど、安定性を重視したパーツの装着が見受けられる。
さらには内部の各部品の再調整の跡も確認され、「安定動作、高精度、堅剛性、重量バランス」 のいずれも高い性能水準でまとめられている。』
これら「SG-09 R」の性能解析結果は、「ラクーン事件」を生還したエージェントが求めた性能基準の一端をうかがい知ることができ、またジョー・ケンドのカスタム技術の高さを証明していると言えるだろう。
About
対B.O.W.を想定し、攻撃型拳銃火器システム並みの性能が要求された一挺。ジョー•ケンドによりカスタムが施された。換装されたシルバースライドにフィットする形状のコンペンセイター、ピカティニー規格を採用したアンダーマウント、フィンガーチャンネル等、様々なカスタムパーツを追加装着しているが、銃本体を構成する個々のパーツそのものを高精度に再加工し、再構成するカスタムが行われており、一見しただけでは分からないが、ほぼ全てのパーツに手が入っている。大統領直属のエージェントが使用する銃火器では側面の「Kendo」の印字等は秘匿性を理由に最終調整段階で消去されるのが通例だが、所有者となるレオンが気に入ったため、残されたままで受領されることになった、と言われている。

BSAA S.O.U. member
世界中から出資され設立された、対B.O.W.最強部隊
世界中に支部を待つ、対バイオテロ専門部隊BSAA（Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance）は、アンブレラ社による大規模バイオハザードに端を発し顕在化したバイオテロ（細菌、ウィルス、遺伝子操作生物を用いたテロリズム）の脅威を目の当たりにした社会不安の背景から2003年に設立された。バイオテロによる不安の矛先は事件の発端となった製薬企業連盟に向けられ、生物兵器開発の道義的責任を問われる形となった製薬企業連盟は、失地回復の為に巨額の出資を行いバイオ災害専門の組織を設立する。それがBSAA（Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance）の母体となったといわれる。創設初期は企業の利益保護が優先された活動と過度な武装が批判の対象となったが、後に国連による管理統合が行われ、理念そのものが大幅に充足された。緊急を要する人道的救援活動を行う際には国連決議を事後として即時展開できる旨、各国政府との取り決めがなされた超法規的な行動権限を有している。設立に関わる予算の多くが製薬企業連盟からの出資によるものである事などから、出資企業の事故処理要員ではないかとの批判も存在する。現在では英国S.A.S.を上回る規模となり、国連独自の管理部門としては最大の組織となる。
BSAA内の実行部隊であるS.O.U.（Special Operations Unit）の構成員は軍隊や法執行機関の経験者からの転属が多く、元私兵や研究員という隊員も存在する。ラクーン事件での活躍が有名な、クリス・レッドフィールド、ジル・バレンタイン、バリー・バートンも所属しており、その構成員の幅の広さが伺える。また、特定の高スキル者のみを集めたチームも存在しており、オリジナルイレブンと呼ばれ特別な権限を与えている事も暗に認めている。
隊員の行動はレベル１〜１０といった形で権限規定がなされており、戦闘を伴う活動を行うS.O.U.にはレベル４以上の権限が付与される。隊員は、射撃、体術に加え、特殊機器のオペレーション技術などの習得に対し、高い水準が要求される。
世界各国の軍隊に比べて治安維持や駆除に投入される機会が多く、実戦経験が群を抜いて豊富であることから、各国の特殊部隊員からもその戦闘力を高く評価されている。中でも米DEA（アメリカ麻薬取締局）と共同で行われた中南米麻薬カルテル撲滅作戦（遺伝子操作麻薬の摘発）の際、参加した複数のDEA隊員から「人類では相手にできない。」と評された逸話から一気にその実力が世間に拡散する。ただこの時の参加チームには先述のオリジナルイレブンが含まれていた為との説もある。
装備も非公開であったが近年活動の機会が増え、撮影された画像が公開される度に実態が明らかになってきており、その特殊性が話題に登る事も増えた。隠蔽体質との批判をかわす為か近年刊行されたSURVIVE MAGAZINEにて、S.O.U.の装備と思しきプライマリー、セカンダリーウェポンが特集され、特別に開発された兵装の存在が明らかになるなど広報活動も活発になりつつある。
ただ莫大な活動費に関して問題になる事も多く、英国議会で開かれた公聴会に提出された出資元リストに、再建されたネオアンブレラ社（連盟非加盟）が名を連ねていた事から、倫理的な問題として世界中のマスコミにも大きく取り上げられるなど依然として世間からの風当たりは強い。2018年現在、ネオアンブレラ社が行っているB.O.W.撲滅活動に協力する為、一部の部隊が出向し特殊事案処理としてバイオテロの抑止活動に貢献しているとされるが、その活動自体に疑問を呈する声も多い。
Jill Valentine
豊富な実戦経験を誇る歴戦の勇士
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチームに所属し、ポジションはRS（リア・セキュリティ）。手先が器用で爆発物処理にも堪能し、キーピックによるカギ開けも得意。これらの特技を駆使して「洋館事件」から生還。
「洋館事件」から生還後は、単独でラクーンシティ内にあるアンブレラの主要施設の調査を開始。
しかし、調査中に街に「t-ウィルス」が流出したことから事態は急変し、混乱に乗じて投入された新型B.O.W.（生物兵器）「ネメシス-T型」からの追跡を受ける。その後、米国政府によるラクーンシティへの攻撃「滅菌作戦」が行われることを知り、ラクーンシティから脱出。
アンブレラ壊滅後は世界に蔓延し始めたバイオテロとの新たな闘いの場を求めて、クリスと共にBSAA(対バイオテロ部隊)に参加。
クリスや新パートナーのパーカーとともに「クイーン・ゼノビア事件」の解決に貢献。
その後、2006年8月に行われた「スペンサー邸突入作戦」にて、クリスをかばうためにウェスカーと共に崖から転落し消息不明となり、同年11月23日にBSAAから殉職したと認定される。
しかし、ジルの体内の変化に興味を持ったウェスカーによって生かされていた彼女は一時ウェスカーに操られたものの、クリスの活躍によりそのコントロールを解かれ生還を果たす。
Chris Redfield
数多くの修羅場をくぐり抜けてきた生ける伝説
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチーム所属。ポジションはPM（ポイントマン）。
エリート揃いのチーム内でNo1.の射撃技術を誇り、常にエースとして活躍。元米空軍のパイロットという経歴を持ち、ヘリの操縦免許も所有。上官との意見対立を理由に除隊後、その優れた戦闘技術を買われて、S.T.A.R.S.にスカウトされた。両親は既に他界しており、「クレア」という名の妹がいる。
「洋館事件」後に発生した「ロックフォート事件」ではアルバート・ウェスカーと対峙。その際にバイオテロ根絶の意識を強くする。
その後はBSAAの創設に関わり、BSAA北米支部に所属。BSAA(対バイオテロ部隊）創設メンバーの11人、通称「オリジナル・イレブン」の一人に数えられている。レベル10と非常に高い行動権を与えられている。
2006年8月に行われた「スペンサー邸突入作戦」時、クリスをかばったジルはウェスカーを道連れに谷底に落下、その結果ジルは一時的に殉職認定されることとなる。
そして、2009年に殉職扱いされている元相棒のジルに関する情報をつかんだ彼はBSAAアフリカ支部が行った「リカルド・アーヴィング逮捕作戦」にバックアップとして参加。一連の事件を経てジルとの再会を果たす。
その後、2012年イドニア共和国での作戦行動中に負傷、記憶を喪失し、東欧で酒びたりの隠遁生活を送っていたが、部下であるピアーズに叱責され、前線へ復帰。レオンとともに世界規模となったバイオテロの拡大を阻止する。
現在はアンブレラに所属。強靭な肉体と不屈の精神力、統率力の持ち主でこれまでに数々のバイオテロを解決に導いてきた。
さまざまなエージェントが活躍する中でも別格の「英雄」と呼ばれるにふさわしい人物である。
Barry Burton
洋館事件から生還した銃火器のエキスパート
「洋館事件」時はS.T.A.R.S.アルファチーム所属。ポジションはBUM（バックアップマン）。過去にクリスと同じ部隊に籍を置いていた時期があり、除隊後はS.W.A.T.隊員を経てS.T.A.R.S.に入隊。それまでの実戦経験と幅広い銃に関する知識を生かして火器の整備や補充を担当していた。
正確は温厚で情に厚く、責任感も強い。家庭では良き夫、良き父親で、任務中も常に愛する妻と2人の娘（モイラ＆ポリー）のことを気にかけている。
一方でかなりのガンマニアとしても有名で、ラクーンシティ警察署近くにある「ケンド銃砲店」のオーナー、ロバート・ケンドとはプライベートで親しい関係にあり、S.T.A.R.S.の制式拳銃「サムライエッジ」の改造を依頼し、そのバワフルな仕上がりに貢献。
「洋館事件」後はBSAAのアドバイザーを務め、ベテランの域に達してはいるものの、対バイオテロのプロフェッショナルであるバリーは、射撃はもちろん、接近戦における高い能力も健在。
Rebecca Chambers
黄道特急事件と洋館事件を生き抜いた経歴を持つ新人
「洋館事件」当時はS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチーム所属。ポジションはRS（リア・セキュリティ）。薬品の精製と調合に関するエキスパートで、主に衛生を担当していた。
ずば抜けた化学関係の知識を持ち、18歳の若さで大学の学士課程を優秀な成績を修めて卒業。その才能が認められ、精鋭揃いのS.T.A.R.S.に抜擢された。
行動派で多少のことでは動じない度胸の持ち主だが、大胆な行動に出るかと思えば、慣れない状況に躊躇するなど、未熟な部分を見せることもあった。
多くのベテラン隊員が脱落した中、生還を果たした彼女のサバイバル能力は特筆に値すると言える。
Enrico Marini
屈指のサバイバル能力を誇る副隊長
S.T.A.R.S.副隊長にして、ブラヴォーチームのリーダー。サバイバル技術に長じた人望厚きベテラン。
何事にも動じない強靭な精神力を誇り、「洋館事件」の際は様々な困難を乗り越えて真相に気付くなど、その能力を余すところなく発揮。
その能力の高さから、アンブレラにとって非常に危険な存在となり得るため命を落とすことになったのは皮肉とも言える。
Kenneth J. Sullivan
豊富な経験を持つ最年長メンバー
偵察や陣地確保などの危険な任務を進んでこなすS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームのメンバー。
「洋館事件」では洋館に突入後、ゾンビに襲われ敢えなく最期を迎えることとなる。「人間」を想定した偵察を行って襲われたのだろうか・・・。なお、彼の最期を記録した映像が残されており、その確保は当時の優先事項であった。
Edward Dewey
メンバー最初の犠牲者となった巨漢
身長は193cmとチーム一の巨漢ながらも、趣味はダンスだったという記録が残っているS.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームのメンバー。
「黄道特急事件」ではライフルを持って探索に出たものの、クリーチャーの襲撃により死亡。残念なことに死亡時の詳細な記録は残されていない模様だが、現場の状況から最終的にはゾンビ化したと思われる。
Forest Speyer
完璧な仕事ぶりが光る射撃の名手
S.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームで主に整備を担当。当時から射撃の名手として知られ、完璧な仕事ぶりには定評があった。
特に射撃の腕前はアルファチームのクリスに匹敵するほど。その腕前は「洋館事件」でも発揮されたかと思われるが、アルファチームが到着したころには変わり果てた姿で最期を迎えていた。そしてゾンビとして蘇り、その戦闘力を証明することになるとは、誰が想像できたであろう・・・。
Brad Vickers
何としても生き延びようとした洋館事件の生還者
S.T.A.R.S.アルファチームに所属し、チーム内では化学防護要員およびヘリの操縦を担当していた。
「洋館事件」の際には、ヘリのパイロットとしてブラヴォーチームの捜索任務には参加したものの、上空で待機していたため研究所の探索には参加しておらず、注目に値するデータは残されていない。
「ラクーン事件」の際はラクーンシティ全土に広がった惨状によりパニックに陥り、ゾンビからは上手く逃げ回るも、「追跡者」を振り切ることはできず、悲惨な最期を迎える。クリーチャー相手に中途半端に立ち向かうよりも、退避を優先した方が生存率の上昇に繋がることは彼の行動が証明している。
Joseph Frost
好戦的な性格が災いしたムードメーカー
S.T.A.R.S.アルファチームの武器整備を担当。陽気なムードメーカーだったとの記録が残っている。
好戦的な性格のため、戦闘データの収集にはうってつけの人材と目されていたものの、ブラヴォーチームの捜索中にケルベロスの群れに襲われて絶命。「洋館事件」における最初の犠牲者となる。そのあまりにも早い退場とは裏腹に、彼の残した映像は研究材料として長く使用されることとなった。
Richard Aiken
極限状況で見せた語り継がれる献身
S.T.A.R.S.ブラヴォーチームに所属する明るく気さくな好青年。任務中は主に通信を担当していた。
「洋館事件」では新人であるレベッカを何かと気遣い、その生還に貢献。大蛇ヨーンの毒牙に掛かり瀕死の状態となるも、何とか危機を乗り越える。その後、自分を救ってくれたアルファチームの隊員を救うために献身的な最期を遂げる。
Leon Scott Kennedy
新人警官から世界屈指のトップエージェントへ
当時21歳の若き警察官だった彼は、ラクーン市警着任当日に「ラクーン事件」に遭遇。偶然にも遅刻したことが功を奏し、命拾いすることとなった。
クリスの妹であるクレアとアンブレラの研究員であったウィリアム・バーキンの娘、シェリーと共に事件を生き延びたレオンは、並はずれたサバイバル能力を見込まれ、アメリカ合衆国のエージェントにスカウトされる。
時は流れ、アメリカ合衆国大統領の令嬢アシュリー・グラハムが誘拐される「大統領令嬢誘拐事件」が発生。
レオンは捜査並びに救出の指令を受けて単身ヨーロッパへ飛び、誘拐事件の首謀者である「ロス・イルミナドス教団」の教祖オズムンド・サドラーの狙いが、宿主を意のままに操れる寄生体「プラーガ」を使った世界の頂点への君臨であることを知り、その野望を阻止する。
その後は盟友であるアメリカ大統領であったアダム・ベンフォードとともに大統領直轄機関・DSO（Division of Security Operations）の設立に尽力。
かつての経験から、バイオテロに対して強い憤りを抱いている。性格は冷静沈着だが、状況に合わせ大胆な行動に出る柔軟性も持ち合わせている。
エージェントとして円熟し始めたレオンは、その言動に慎重さが増すようになったが、時折軽口を叩くユーモアや、強い正義感は、かつて新米警官としてラクーンシティに配属された時から変わっていない。
ラクーンシティの真実を明かそうとするアダムがトールオークスで発生したバイオテロに巻き込まれるも地獄と化した街を駆け抜け、クリスとともにその拡大を阻止する。
