Ada's Report is a series of five records recorded by Ada Wong regarding the details and conditions of her mission in Southern Europe. First released as a supplement to the Separate Ways (the another order) scenario in the PS2, PC and Wii versions of biohazard 4, it was printed in BIOHAZARD archives II in 2010.

REPORT #1
I have a true purpose I must accomplish.
I've taken on this mission as a stepping stone to that. Until everything's said and done, I can't allow anyone to realize my true motives.
And now merely skulking around won't suffice. I'll need to make an appearance and show them the way, once in a while.
First I'd like to arrange the stage background.
The cult of Los Iluminados, led by Prophet Osmund Saddler, are reported to have released from containment what's known as the Plaga parasite.
I'd like to assess the intel concerning Saddler's "secret art" that we, the "organization", have managed to obtain so far.
The feudal lords of the Salazar family are said to have used a special ability to control the Plaga for generations.
We've hypothesized that this may be a special method of communication via acoustics or sonic waves.
"Commands" are conveyed in a range of sound detected only by the parasites, then they can be manipulated to do one's bidding. In a nutshell, it's the principle of a dog whistle.
This theory was deduced based on a tissue fragment of the parasite we obtained, upon identifying an organ that appears capable of sensing sounds.
All the cult's prophets once carried staffs for use in special religious services. Could there be some sort of trick to this I wonder, perhaps special vocalizations using a particular range.
There's still no conclusive evidence for this hypothesis, so it remains purely in the realm of speculation.
Including verifying those, "acquiring Plaga samples" is the matter which takes priority above all else in this mission.
That's also a proof of trust I must fulfill towards the "organization."
The pieces are starting to move and the countdown's begun. There's no turning back now.
REPORT #2
In this affair with all sorts of intermingling ulterior motives, he... Luis Sera, is in a comparatively straightforward position.
With no evidence of him working for any sort of organization behind-the-scenes, I think it's safe to assume he's acting purely of his own accord.
I was the one who recommended him to the "organization" as a key person in this mission.
It was his humanity... I had a good feeling about the "zeal" his background exuded.
I was fortunate enough to accidentally intercept his e-mail for help from a research facility.
He didn't seem to trust the police and sent the e-mail to an old friend from college.
He himself was evidently unaware his friend was already dead, but at any rate, that's how I was able to get in touch with him.
It seems that in-between his studies on the Plaga, he was also conducting his own investigation into the darkside of the cult. He mentioned some of that in his e-mail too, making a series of astute observations that got to the bottom of every aspect of the matter. This perceptive eye was probably the skill Saddler hired him for.
However, his prowess has gotten too deep into the cult and aroused Saddler's suspicion.
When I told him my true identity, he asked to be taken into protective custody. "I have no attachment whatsoever to the Plaga or the cult, I just want to get away somewhere safe and go back to a quiet life..."
As collateral, we tasked him with stealing a "dominant species Plaga sample", to be brought to us as a piece of evidence.
He also appears to be one of the few people to have somehow earned Saddler's trust. By our calculations it looks like it'll be relatively simple to make contact with him and procure the sample.
Nevertheless, the cult won't take his escape lying down.
I'll have to act as a guide and have him dance to our tune, to some extent.
REPORT #3
Jack Krauser... The "organization" has conducted thorough background checks on this man as well.
We scrutinized his personality and capabilities in carrying out military ops for any issues. If his skills were lackluster, he'd jeopardize his associates as well.
In conclusion, he's an excellent mercenary, nothing more and nothing less. So long as we promise him an adequate "fee", he should work out just well enough.
And even if he were to display some unsettling movements, we can read his behavioral patterns to some degree.
Wesker issues all instructions for this op personally. It was also Wesker who ordered Krauser to infiltrate the cult as a spy in order to obtain the "sample", and he opted for the united front with me as well.
I suppose the implication's us keeping an eye on each other.
Krauser's probably already fallen under the Plaga's spell, being a coveted symbol of "power" within the cult.
As a result, I predict his presence may soon also become a liability for us, the "organization."
Though in a sense, this could be called an inevitable development. I have no choice but to use him to play the essential role of "disrupting the stage."
The stage itself is destined to be destroyed and erased as well, sooner or later...
Unluckily for him however, I need him to retain his current position for the time being, as cover for achieving my objective.
REPORT #4
Leon S. Kennedy.
His presence is an essential part to accomplishing this mission.
Most importantly, this story wouldn't be complete without his abundance of overwhelming survival skills.
In the past, in a hell swarming with inhuman monsters, he accomplished the arduous challenge of pulling through, again and again, with nothing but his own strength.
And that was back when he was a rookie cop with little training.
He has a swift sense of judgement that makes the most of his extraordinary luck. I think that's a natural gift. His experiences as an agent working directly for the government have also made him more formidable.
Although I need him leading the other side of the story as the "protagonist", I'm optimistic this won't be too difficult.
Of course, since Saddler and Krauser are involved, I'll have to take a certain amount of unforeseen circumstances into account as well.
However, I'm committed to playing a "supporting role" to the bitter end, for the sake of my own objective.
I'll also lend him some assistance to keep him from being deposed from the leading role.
But still... Until just a few months ago, I couldn't have pictured this "cast."
My role should've been a little more straightforward too.
The President's daughter was abducted and a lone agent was dispatched to investigate. The story's framework was revised once the fact of Leon's intervention became clear, leading to its present state.
But I bear no unnecessary apprehension. That's because I can be sure the path Leon takes will be one of difficulties, but not setbacks.
He has defied all manner of logic-defying doom. His luck's encouraging to me.
I'm the only one who has a clear vision of the future.
There's no shaking my confidence.
REPORT #5
I somehow managed to patch up those small fraying edges.
I think this mission can be declared a success.
I safely fulfilled my original objective of acquiring the sample as well.
I sent Wesker a different present.
Just as the "organization" ordered. My feigned connivance with him was rather thrilling as well.
Albert Wesker... I wonder what his next move will be.
I feel like this mission has only given me a small glimpse.
From my standpoint, Umbrella used to be a symbol of power, a tremendous aegis for realizing one's ambitions.
However, the "umbrella" collapsing shattered those fantasies.
Having lost their protection, the main shadowy conspirators have scattered and are now also scurrying in their quest for a new "umbrella."
They detest the light of the sun. As they're more aware of their own repulsiveness than anyone else.
We're quite confident Wesker intends to set up a new larger and stronger "umbrella."
The giant pharmaceutical company "S" also supplies drugs to public medical institutions the world over. Evidence has confirmed Wesker's been in contact with them following Umbrella's collapse. His next "starting point" will likely be there.
We'll need to keep a close eye on him, along with the "organization."
Nevertheless, Wesker's no fool. I'm sure he's more than a little aware about what I and the "organization" are up to. He and I are both letting the other roam freely while keeping an eye on each other, as we make our way through this world. For the moment, I can still afford to have some fun with that.
I've safely taken the first step forward to my true purpose.
There's one thing I can say for certain...
The battle's not over yet.
I have a true purpose I must accomplish.

REPORT #1
REPORT #2

The only reason I've taken on this mission is to get closer to my own objective. No matter what happens, I can't let anyone figure that out.
Of course, hiding in the shadows isn't my style. I'll have to reveal myself to him and offer advice, once in a while.
Here's what I know so far.
Osmund Saddler's cult is known as Los Illuminados. They've resurrected some parasitic organism they call Las Plagas. That's all my organization knows for sure, though Saddler's occult activities seem worthy of investigation.
The Salazar family, castellans for generations, possess the ability to control Las Plagas.
The organization's hypothesis is that a unique frequency of sonic wave sensed only by the parasites is used to control them. The same principle used in dog whistles.
This was inferred through the analysis of a tissue sample we retrieved; the tissue contained an organ presumably used for sensing sound waves.
I've seen cult members carrying ceremonial rods and I wonder if they emit these sounds.
Of course this is purely theroetical.
The organization needs samples of the parasite to confirm or disprove these theories. That is the main objective of my mission and the only way to prove my loyalty to the organization.
The opening moves in this chess game have been played. There's no turning back now.
REPORT #2
Among all the people involved in this, Luis Sera has the least entanglements. He works for no organization, preferring to move on his own.
I'm the one who told the organization of his importance. I did it because I like him. His history portrays an enthusiasm I once shared.
It was a stroke of luck that I happened to intercept his email for help.
It seems he can't trust the police, so he sent the email to an old friend from college. He must have thought his friend was still alive. At any rate, that's how I managed to find him.
Apparently, he's been conducting his own investigation of the cult while doing research on Las Plagas. A brilliant scientist, he's accumulated a pile of data and pieced it all together. Must be why Saddler hired him... Too bad Sera's snooping has aroused his suspicion.
When I told who I was, he practically begged me to take him into custody. He needed protection. He said, "I have no love for Las Plagas or this stupid cult, I want out. I just want peace and quiet again."
I ordered him to bring me a master Plaga specimen, a sample for evidence.
Looks like he is one of the few people who Saddler actually trusts. Tracking him down and getting my hands on the sample shouldn't be difficult. I doubt the cult will take kindly to his escape though. I'll have to guide this along if I want it to go smoothly.
REPORT #3
Jack Krauser has been the subject of extensive study and research by the organization.
His skills and personality have been tested both on and off the battlefield. If he weren't the best, he would become a liability that would jeopardize the rest of us.
My conclusion: he's a great soldier, no more, no less.
As long as he's well-compensated, he shouldn't cause any problems for us.
If he does start to get restless, I can take care of him. I've studied his combat style and can deal with that arm of his if necessary.
Krauser answers directly to Wesker, and it was Wesker who decided that Krauser should be sent to spy on the cult.
He also decided to send me along. I wonder if it wasn't to keep an eye on Krauser?
No doubt Krauser has already fallen to the temptation of Las Plagas and the power they represent.
This could have dire consequences for the organization...
On some level, however, this could be a necessary development. As his role is to disrupt this farce of a play.
That said, the stage and its players will ultimately come crashing down in the end.
Bad luck for him, but he'll play the patsy in the end, and take the fall for all of us. That's why I need to make sure things keep going exactly as they are...
REPORT #4
Leon S. Kennedy... perhaps the most essential part of this mission.
This story wouldn't be complete without him and his formidable survival skills.
He has what it takes to survive against overwhelming odds. I've seen him do it before.
And he's improved since then.
Practically a genius, he has smarts and knows how to use them.
On top of that, his service as a government agent has toughened him up.
I'll work behind the scenes to make him think he's the primary player here, though it may be naive of me to think that'll be easy.
Considering the involvement of both Saddler and Krauser, the possibility of unforeseen problems is there.
But I need him in a supporting role for me to achieve my goals. I'll do whatever it takes to keep him in his place and make this all go smoothly.
Of course, his role didn't exist at all until a few months ago.
Back then, my role was much simpler, too.
That was before the President's daughter was abducted and Leon was dispatched alone to find her.
Talk about a major script revision...
I don't think I need to worry. Leon's been through worse and always comes up smelling like roses.
His consistent luck is part of the reason why I have absolute and unshakable faith in my vision of what's in store for him.
REPORT #5
It wasn't easy, but I'd say the mission was a success.
Getting my hands on the sample was my initial objective, after all.
But I've sent Wesker a different present, just as the organization ordered. Pretending to work with him was entertaining.
Albert Wesker. I wonder where he's heading next?
Something tells me this whole affair was just a taste of what he's got in store.
To him, Umbrella represented power. He used it to hide behind while he made plans of his own.
And now the umbrella's been folded.
With the sanctuary of their old Umbrella ruined, those in power struggle to erect a new one.
They are aware of their own crookedness and deceit as they engage in their personal war of light and darkness.
That's why Wesker will stop at nothing in opening his new Umbrella.
The giant pharmaceutical corporation "S" maintains medical and drug facilities the world over. We know for certain that Wesker has been in contact with them following Umbrella's demise. There's no doubt we'll next hear from him there. The organization must remain vigilant.
But Wesker's not stupid. He knows exactly what the organization is thinking. He and I still have time to play our little game of cat and mouse before the next move is played.
This mission may be over, but the battle is just beginning.

The only reason I've taken on this mission is to get closer to my own objective. No matter what happens, I can't let anyone figure that out.
