Project Umbrella Translation
INTRODUCTION
Set in a world where the scars of bioterrorism are all too common
The year was 2003.
The unprecedented biological disaster that struck Raccoon City was determined to have been caused by bioweapons covertly developed by the Umbrella Corporation, and the giant pharmaceutical company Umbrella collapsed.
However, Umbrella Corp.'s collapse didn't eradicate bio-disasters, but rather scattered the threat posed by bioweapons worldwide.
The year's now 2015. In a world where bioterrorism has become par for the course, Umbrella Corp.'s leftover research results have instead increased in value.
Soldiers infiltrate quarantine zones where infected people remain.
Most of them are people who voluntarily engage in illegal "Zombie hunting" for their own reasons.
But behind-the-scenes there's much speculation over there being corporations interested in developing bioweapons, as well as profiting from developing treatment drugs.

STORY
You are a mercenary beckoned by extraordinary payment to a mysterious organization.
Bioterror ruins, scratches carved on the world. Under a strict monitoring system you'll be cast into areas forbidden to enter.
The battles conducted there are clearly for some sort of experiment, but you aren't told the details or purpose.
As the mercenary, you're issued only a few weapons and repeat tests in the quarantine zones where Zombies, infected people, roam.
There's no guarantee of survival anywhere of course. The "experiment" is a colosseum.
You must battle with creatures and accomplish the mission to survive.
You'll have to rely on things like your own abilities and occasionally placed items.
When you accomplish a mission, a more difficult mission will be displayed next.
The researchers don't mind mercenaries being reduced to dust either. They'll be offered new guinea pigs.
Can you survive "THE EXPERIMENT"?

STAGE & CREATURE
UMBRELLA LAB
An Umbrella research facility constructed underground. The existence of this laboratory specializing in bioweapons development was strictly kept secret and known to only a few executives. It was abandoned with Umbrella's collapse and entry's now forbidden as a quarantine zone.
TRICELL HQ
The world-famous multinational conglomerate TRICELL Inc. once appeared in "BIOHAZARD 5."
The main office's functions were kept secret as the name HQ (Headquarters) implies. It was the hub of confidential information the company couldn't make public, including bioweapon development data in particular. Due to a bioterror attack mainly employing the t-Virus, it's now a contaminated area where Zombies and Cerberus roam.
KIJUJU AUTONOMOUS ZONE DISTRICT 12
The Kijuju Autonomous Zone which was the stage of BIOHAZARD 5.
It's a village in Africa destroyed as a result of a bioterror attack using the Plaga.
RACCOON CITY
A city area in North America where urban functions were paralyzed by a biohazard.
R.P.D.
A police station hall where barricades have been installed by survivors who escaped the disaster.
ZOMBIE
Zombies are mostly victims infected by the t-Virus (infections derived from the C-Virus have also been reported). The Zombies that appear in this game seem to be people left behind from previous incidents as well as individuals newly infected through combat in the quarantine zones.
ZOMBIE (SPECIAL MUTANT)
Durability and offensive capability exceed a regular Zombie. It also has the unique ability to negate surrounding Zombie Jammers.
CERBERUS
The Cerberus is a bioweapon intentionally created due to the Umbrella Corporation's B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapon) research by injecting the large Doberman breed with the t-Virus. Those that appear in this game seem to be individuals manufactured by someone and released with clear intent.
GANADO
Ganado means "cattle" in Spanish and points to hosts parasitized by the "Plaga", a parasite discovered in Europe. Bioterror schemed by the cult Los Iluminados, seen in "biohazard 4", was suppressed and the Ganado were mopped-up afterwards. Entry to the area was prohibited but there was no end to residents violating the prohibition to return home, and they appear to have been parasitized by a wild species of Plaga growing naturally in the area.
MAJINI
Majini, meaning "jinns" in Swahili, refers to Plaga carriers in the Kijuju Autonomous Zone. After the previous incident, some Plagas escaped extermination and parasitized many villagers. The Majini that appear in this game are lacking in the Majini characteristics of a social nature and preserved intellect described in "5", but their aggressiveness toward intruders is still intact and they remain a threat.
