PROLOGUE
We were so helpless.
Little ammunition, unreliable weapons.
Wounded bodies.
Hearts atrophying in the darkness.
But... we didn't give up.
Because we had friends by our side who also wished to live.
And because we had an intrinsic determination.
Raccoon City --- a city steeped in death and despair.
Let's talk about it now.
Let's talk about the devastation of that Hell.
I wonder what we gained from surviving.

The end result of people who've been infected with the T-Virus. With human-like aspects such as reason and emotion gone, they're controlled solely by an intense appetite for human flesh. People who die after being eaten by Zombies turn into Zombies themselves within a short time.
ZOMBIE ELEPHANT (p.063)
Appears only in "Roar." It used to be the good-natured star of the zoo, but the virus has turned it into a vicious creature roaming the zoo in search of prey. Depending on the conditions of your escape from the zoo, it may appear as a boss.
ZOMBIE HYENA (p.064)
A zombified version of the agile hyena, and as with their natural habits, they tend to attack their prey in packs. Appears only in Roar.
HORNBILL

RAFFLESIA (p.066)

ALLIGATOR (p.067)
An alligator turned into a creature due to T-Virus infection, it lives in a pond in the zoo. Although the T-Virus hasn't changed them into giant or Zombie-like creatures, they're extremely aggressive and surprisingly tough.

A zombified lion infected with the T-Virus, it's extremely aggressive. A fierce beast of prey that normally herds together, but acts alone and has its own territory in the zoo where it waits for its prey. They appear only in the Roar scenario.
ZOMBIE LION - MALE (p.069)

MEGA BITE (p.070)
A creature created from the Giga Bite, it lurks in large numbers in Raccoon City's subway. With a preference for human blood, some grow to enormous size by sucking blood. Some Mega Bites are also poisonous. They appear only in "Underbelly."

GREEN ZOMBIE (p.072)
This creature's a fusion of a plant contaminated with the T-Virus and a zombified human. Tougher than a Zombie, when attacked or spooked it sprays poisonous pollen from its head. Scratching and biting attacks have no poisonous effect.
AXE MAN (p.073)
