Development
In Capcom’s annual report which released in September 2008 the company announced that they were setting their sights on increasing sales in North America and Europe by hopes of up to 80%. With 53% of their game sales coming from Japan, Capcom felt it was time to shift their attention to the Western audience.
"We will continue to pursue further growth overseas while implementing aggressive measures such as strengthening the sales capabilities of our overseas subsidiaries and improving our product line-up targeting the overseas market".
Not content with only expanding their portfolio of games genres such as sports-related titles Capcom also began to target mobile phone games. Almost immediately following their annual report, a new Resident Evil mobile game for the Nokia N-Gage was announced in a partnership between Nokia and Capcom. Developed and distributed by Capcom. The game was catered specifically toward the N-Gage platform which was intergrated into several Nokia smartphones. As of September 2008 the game was listed as being “available later this year”. The game had two seperate play modes (FPS &TPS) and 3D graphics.
"This game Illustrates our dedication to the N-Gage. We believe that the platform is an excellent home for some of our most famous franchises and our dedication to quality and creative thinking has seen us create a unique game with stunning visuals and in-depth game play, never before seen on the mobile." Capcom Mobile Division, General Manager, Takeshi Tezuka.
"Resident Evil Degeneration will serve as an exciting new chapter for fans of the series and deliver a unique gaming experience that they will not be able to achieve anywhere else." Gregg Sauter, Nokia's Director of Third-Party Publishing
“Capcom Mobile is honored to be bringing the next exciting chapter of the Resident Evil series to cell phones everywhere. Mobile is the only place where fans can play Resident Evil: Degeneration and experience this thrilling story from a unique adrenaline-fueled perspective.” Midori Yuasa, President, Capcom Interactive, Inc.
Capcom announced they were going to adopt Airplay SDK software used to create games which was later licenced by Ideaworks who Capcom outsourced the game to develop. Airplay allows developers to create much larger games than normally possible with mobile phone game development. The enhancement of development was not the only advantage for using Airplay SDK but it also allows developers to easily port their game to multiple platforms.
Lead Designer James Blackham uploaded a project overview to his website you can find here. In which he states that the game was released worldwide for both N-Gage and it’s later IOS port. He also tells us that the overall development time for Degeneration mobile was 15 months. Finally stating that there will be four chapters of gameplay as well as cutscene text.
James Blackham confirmed in our interview that "We spent a lot of time collaborating with producers from Capcom. Selling them on our vision with presentations, documents, maps and proof of concept in engine. We got the films script fairly early on and we must have spent weeks pouring over documents during conference calls with them. Myself and another designer Henric wrote the games script (including the files) which was approved by Capcom."
Release date in North America was estimated for, by or before December 27th 2008. This source states it released on December 18th 2008.
As stated above with the use of Airplay Capcom were able to port the game to many different devices which is what happened the following year when they made an IOS port and also an edited port for Blackberry however we will come back to these after we have looked at the N-Gage version in more detail.

LEON: This is Agent Leon S. Kennedy, checking in. Do you have a visual?
INGRID: Hunnigan here, on mission control. We meet again, Leon.
LEON: Hunnigan! I feel better knowing you've got my back.
INGRID: The feeling is mutual. Have you arrived at the target area?
LEON: Affirmative. Entering the airport now.
INGRID: Sensor readings online. I can be your eyes, but not your ears.
LEON: Acknowledged. Where are the survivors?
INGRID: They're in the VIP lounge. Keep heading down this hallway, I'll direct you as you go. Hmm...that's weird.
LEON: What is?
INGRID: There appears to be a figure heading towards you...
LEON: Really? I thought all the survivors were... I'll have to get back to you later, Hunnigan. I don't think these are friendly civilians!
LEON: So now that we know what we're dealing with, care to impart your usual wisdom?
INGRID: Would I let you down? Move ahead from here into the Duty Free area and you should find some useful gear.
LEON: Can I stroll there, or should I be on my guard?
INGRID: Keep your gun handy.
LEON: Duty free has been cleared. For now.
INGRID: Acknowledged. My reports tell me that the contraband lockers have been trashed and there are Green Herbs scattered throughout your area.
LEON: Green herbs?
INGRID: They have health restoring properties. Take a good look around and pick up at least two.
INGRID: Leon, is this a bad time?
LEON: With you Hunnigan, it's never a bad time.
INGRID: You're approaching several enemies. They're infected pilots who are going to kill the surviving cabin crew unless we buy them some time.
LEON: Got it.
LEON: Hunnigan, can you hear that?
INGRID: Hear what? Oh god... Is that screaming?
LEON: There's a lady and she's scared out of her mind. I need to help her.
INGRID: It's probably one of the flight attendants. Report back when you're done securing the area.
LEON: Hunnigan, I'm out of ammo.
INGRID: Acknowledged. Keep searching from here and try not to engage any enemies until you have some ammo.
LEON: That's a tall order. They're the ones that are trying to kill ME, remember?
INGRID: I'm getting some strange read-outs, Leon.
LEON: I've reached the Baggage Reclaim. Hey, who let the dogs out?
INGRID: Hmm, they must be security dogs. Kill them, quick, there are more on the way.
LEON: Leon here. What's going on now? I just heard one hell of a noise.
INGRID: There's a downed passenger plane outside. You're going to need to check it for survivors. Work your way through the Boarding Area to get to it.
LEON: That's easier said than done. There are an awful lot of 'arrivals' here, if you know what I'm saying.
INGRID: Sorry Leon, crowd control is your job.
INGRID: Leon, have you boarded the plane yet?
LEON: Just doing that now.
INGRID: Are there any survivors?
LEON: ...
INGRID: Leon? Do you copy? Are there any survivors?
LEON: In a manner of speaking, yes.
INGRID: Leon, our read-outs show that the plane is overheating, get off of it before it explodes!
LEON: How much time have I got?
INGRID: A few minutes, tops.
INGRID: Leon come in. Can you hear me? I can't see you, there's something smeared on the front of your GRVT...
LEON: Hunnigan...my gun's jammed and I need to patch myself up. Soon.
INGRID: I have a report that there's at least one very large enemy loose in the airport, maybe more. You need to-
LEON: Too late. He's heading my way now.
INGRID: Head for the security office, quick!
INGRID: Leon, what's your status?
LEON: Tired. Achy. Wishing this was over.
INGRID: Will you be able to neutralize that brainless mob?
LEON: I got it covered. It'll take me a while.
INGRID: Try that shotgun. It should speed things up.
LEON: Leon here. I'm back in the Arrivals Lounge.
INGRID: Leon? Can you see what's going on down there? Somebody's kicking up quite a racket.
LEON: There's another Op here! It looks like he's special forces. He seems to be having a tough time holding his own.
INGRID: Well, give him a hand, he probably needs it!
INGRID: Here are the tunnels that lead to the VIP lounge. They're the only route available.
LEON: I can't help noticing these tunnels are completely pitch black.
INGRID: Is the brave Leon afraid of a little darkness?
LEON: Easy for you to say, my gun has a really small flashlight.
INGRID: Just keep your ears peeled and your gun loaded.
LEON: Okay, I'm approaching the end of the tunnel, I'll arrive at the VIP lounge soon.
INGRID: There's also a...well, I'm not really sure what it is, but it's big, and it's coming your way.
LEON: Oh no...
INGRID: And it's moving like a freight train.
LEON: I see it, Hunnigan. I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing one of these again.
LEON: Leon here. I've cleared the tunnels. And still in one piece, no less.
INGRID: Fantastic. You need to move fast, zombies have worked their way over to a civilian. If innocent people become lunch meat, you'll have done all this for nothing.
LEON: Confirmed. I see the survivor.
LEON: Leon here. I've got a bunch of bloodthirsty canines on my tail and I'm fresh out of bullets.
INGRID: Copy that. Make a run for it to the security office. And after you've reloaded...
LEON: Unload on these puppies?
INGRID: Yes.
INGRID: Leon. You need to conserve ammunition. Leave the dogs and sneak downstairs.
LEON: Sneak?
INGRID: Just move past them carefully and avoid being noticed...(Keys 1 & 3 activate walk mode)
LEON: I'll try.
INGRID: Leon, are you still there? Please acknowledge.
LEON: Leon here. Mission accomplished. That Special Op that I rescued earlier requires medical attention. I'm looking for the supplies now.
INGRID: There should be some Green Herbs in your immediate area. Watch out, your very large friend is still hanging around.
LEON: Hunnigan, apparently that wasn't the only Special Forces Op hanging around this airport- there's another one holed up in the Duty Free Area. I'm heading there now.
INGRID: Slow down, Leon. You've got a welcoming committee and there's no access to spare ammo in that area. Is it just me, or do those zombies look smaller?
LEON: Negative. Those are dogs, Hunnigan. Or at least they used to be.
INGRID: Say thank you, Leon.
LEON: For what?
INGRID: For the assault rifle I just located on the ground floor.
LEON: Thank YOU!
INGRID: If you search down there you should be able to find it.
INGRID: Leon, make your way downstairs. There are two Cabin Crew down there.
LEON: Acknowledged.
INGRID: And try to avoid those zombies. They don't need to know where those survivors are located.
LEON: Leon here, I've located one of the survivors.
INGRID: Find the other, then make a break for the lobby, that's the only clear area I can find right now.
LEON: Hunnigan, come in. What's that noise?
INGRID: There's a Tyrant up on the first floor with some of the survivors.
LEON: The door won't open and one of those dogs is snapping at my heels.
INGRID: Thank goodness it's just one dog.
LEON: Maybe if I get him to jump towards the door...
LEON: Leon here. I've located the target but my ammo is low again.
INGRID: Remember Leon, you're the only thing that's going to keep those survivors from getting torn apart. Get up close and aim for the head. That's the only advice I can give you.
LEON: Good idea. They should be able to get away.
LEON: Hunnigan? Where am I going now... Hello?
INGRID: I'm trying to map out a route for you Leon, but none of them are clear.
LEON: Damned if I do and damned if I don't?
INGRID: I'll keep you posted, but either way you're going to do a lot of shooting.
INGRID: Leon, the entire airport is now in security lock-down. Look for the security card key to disable the system.
LEON: Acknowledged.
INGRID: The card should be somewhere in your vicinity. Find it and head to the Security Area. I don't need to tell you that you're not alone...
INGRID: Quick! Swipe the card!
LEON: I'd love to oblige, Hunnigan, but I'm going to have my hands full for a few minutes.
INGRID: Don't worry about killing them all, just get them off your back and disable the system.
INGRID: My read-out shows that the doors are now unlocked. Are you proceeding to the Duty Free area?
LEON: I'm approaching it now.
INGRID: Any sign of our rogue Op?
LEON: I'll let you know after I teach these dogs some new tricks.
LEON: Leon here. I have the subject. Now I just need to get him out of here alive. What am I up against?
INGRID: Crazed zombies and more dogs. The usual.
LEON: Duly noted.
LEON: Hunnigan, we have a situation on our hands.
INGRID: Copy that. So what else is new?
LEON: The man I just rescued tells me that a plane is about to take off. And get this: it's full of zombies. How is that possible?
INGRID: I've got it on-screen now. The auto-pilot must have been engaged. Activating the baggage carousels should allow you to board the plane and disable the system.
LEON: I sure hope you're right.
LEON: The plane is in my sights. The area looks deserted, but I have a feeling you're going to tell me that's not true.
INGRID: That's not true.
LEON: I hate it when you do that.
INGRID: My read-outs show another Tyrant approaching from the north, and this one must have taken his vitamins this morning.
LEON: The north? But there's a wall... Oh god. I see it!
INGRID: Leon, have you boarded the plane?
LEON: Affirmative. Hunnigan, this feels terribly familiar.
INGRID: Practice makes perfect, Leon. You need to find the cockpit access key so you can shut that thing down.
INGRID: The plane has been disabled, but temperature readings are off the charts! What on earth is going on down there?
LEON: He followed me onto the plane! Everything's trashed and I think there's a fuel leak!
INGRID: Shoot him and get the hell out of there before it explodes.
INGRID: Watch out for more infected dogs. One of them is setting off the airport metal detectors- I think it's carrying something.
LEON: I'll check it out.
INGRID: Follow him through the boarding area and take him down.
LEON: Is it just me or do those zombies seem a lot faster?
INGRID: It's not just you, these ones are faster.
LEON: They're a lot harder to shoot! They won't stand still!
INGRID:Try using that laser sight for quick aim head shots.
LEON: It's very quiet here. Dead silent. I hate that.
INGRID: You're right...An airport should have people in it. Life.
LEON: What should I do next Hunnigan?
INGRID: There should be some spare ammo scattered around the airport. Collect at least three.
LEON: Gladly.
INGRID: Leon, I have a theory.
LEON: What kind of a theory?
INGRID: You should be able to take out multiple enemies at a time with that shotgun.
LEON: Hmm...want me to test this theory on these three zombies?
INGRID: Please do. Take them down in one shot.
INGRID: Good job Leon. Now for another thought- these zombies go down easy but they don't always stay down, right?
LEON: Right.
INGRID: Try getting this zombie when he's down.
INGRID: The security mechanism has be triggered again, but...
LEON: But?
INGRID: It has a two minute countdown. You better move fast and use that security card again to turn it off.
LEON: Why do airports have to be so damn complicated?
INGRID: Could be worse...could be a mall.
INGRID: How good are you with a knife?
LEON: Good enough. I don't like where you're going with this...
INGRID: Conserve your ammo and try to take down these three with just your knife.
LEON: Hunnigan, I think you like to see me sweat.
INGRID: Hey, I'm just dispatch. It's not like I'm some puppet master controlling your every action.
LEON: Leon here. Are there any survivors left?
INGRID: Affirmative. There's a plane with some cabin crew on it and they're working their way out.
LEON: I guess they could use a hand, eh?
INGRID: Protect them while they're going through the Plane Access Tunnel.
LEON: Hunnigan, come in. I'm between a rock and a hard place here.
INGRID: Really?
LEON: Yeah, except the rock is two slobbering dogs and the hard place is eight feet tall and twice my weight. FYI, I also have no ammo.
INGRID: Remember, Tyrants are big, but dumb.
LEON: Maybe I can get out of the way, and make a run for it. He might kill the dogs instead of me.
INGRID: Leon, come in. The fuel on that plane is about to be jettisoned.
LEON: I'm starting to wonder if these things are trying to set fires on purpose.
INGRID: Get to the plane and deactivate the fuel pump.
LEON: I hate to tell you this again, but...
INGRID: No more ammo?
LEON: And those zombies are now coming after ME.
INGRID: Try leading them to the security office again and reloading there.
INGRID: I've made contact with some of the survivors. They're heading towards the Lobby in two minutes.
LEON: That's not good. That whole area's crawling.
INGRID: And that's where you come in, Leon. Clear the area ASAP so they have a fighting chance.
LEON: Hunnigan, come in. I've dispatched the zombies. The path is clear. Are the survivors ready?
INGRID: Negative. There are still some dogs in the lobby.
LEON: And here I thought my spray-and-slay was over.
INGRID: Leon! Did you make it?
LEON: Affirmative. The threat has been neutralized. Barely.
INGRID: I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is, the rest of the planes have just had their auto-pilots engaged.
LEON: What!?
INGRID: The good news is that you can stop them all at the same time, by disabling the airport radar, via the underground power system. There's an access key to the service lift, you need to find it.
LEON: Hunnigan, I'm here, but I can't see anything.
INGRID: Leon, there's something in there with you, and it's huge. There's a bunch of other zombies, but you need to worry about keeping away from that walking brick wall. He's going to make it tough to disable that radar.
INGRID: Leon, come in. You're almost there. Just three survivors left. You need to get them back to the Lobby.
LEON: Acknowledged. These dogs get uglier every time.
LEON: The survivors have been relocated. How do I get out of this dump?
INGRID: You need to find the Airport Lobby Security Card and leave through the main doors in the lobby.
LEON: Got it.
INGRID: Oh, and don't leave any enemies behind.
LEON: This'll be a one-man battle royale they'll never forget.
INGRID: Hunnigan here, on mission control. We meet again, Leon.

2009 Blackberry version
Development
With no official word available from Capcom it is difficult to provide much information on this Blackberry port however there is this official announcement on GameDeveloper which states that it was developed by Capcom Interactive or Beeline Interactive a subsidary of Capcom and released on May 14th 2009 for Blackberry devices. James Blackham confirmed that he played no role in this port as mentioned in our interview.
While extracting from this port I found that the only assets in this version are the first person perspective There is rumors that it also included the 2D (top down) version the same as the original N-Gage version however I could not find any proof of this.
Story
Leon Kennedy escapes the zombie-infested airport.

Leon's POV
Considering that the Blackberry port is in First Person, Leon has no character model, the only form of Leon found in the games assets is the above icon and the characters arm as seen from the First Person perspective. Hunnigan only appears on the mobile communication screen in the form of the image seen above.
Cerberus, Zombie 1, Zombie 2 and Tyrant models

Bar Indicators
During the missions you will see a variety of horizontal bars. The bars above the enemies' heads indicate how much time you have to shoot them before they attack Leon. When an enemy's bar reaches full red, it will attack.
The lower of the two bars at the top of the screen is the health bar for the zombie you are currently aiming at. The bar above it is Leon's health bar, indicating how much damage he has taken.
Avoid letting Leon's health bar get too low- you can press 0 to administer a first aid spray (if you have one) and replenish Leon's entire health bar. Pressing 3 or * to consume an herb (if you have one) will replenish part of his health bar. The herbs and health spray are limited to the number of them that you picked up.
Tip: Try not to shoot in rapid succession. To inflict more damage on enemies, allow your weapon's crosshair to come together before shooting.

Development
The final version of the Degeneration mobile game was released on May 12th 2009 in North America and Europe. Capcom and Apple partnered up to bring the IOS version of Degeneration to the market. Implenting a virtual control pad allowed this version for more intuitive controls. It also featured 3D graphics among many other new features compared to the previous versions. It appears to use the same engine as the Resident Evil 4 mobile game. The IOS version has similarities to the N-Gage/Blackberry versions such as the stages, characters and BOWs however the controls, camera perspective and even dialogue are completely new.

In high-octane Resident Evil style, they're ready to battle a rogue warrior who is seeking revenge after his family was killed in Raccoon City. The deadly G-Virus is unleashed and a new mutated monster goes on the rampage. Will Claire and Leon be able to terminate the virus before history repeats itself?

Detailed Walkthrough
(Unfortunately unlike the previous two games getting into an IOS game assets proved extremely difficult and therefore I cannot provide the games textures and text for this port however I did make this detailed walkthrough as a compromise.)
Chapter One
Intro cutscene shows a plane crashing into Harvardville Airport. (Same as seen in the CGI movie)
Harvardville Airport is struck by a biological terroism outbreak. The Airport is quickly overun by infected BOWs which origins are linked to the crashed plane, Flight N538-GA.
A secret government organisation sends in their best agent Leon S. Kennedy to investigate. Leon’s goal is to rescue a group of survivors who are trapped in the Airport.
Leon enters the Airport smashing through a glass window. Immediately afterwards he is contacted via a communications device by Ingrind Hunnigan. Leon informs Hunnigan he is aware that Special Operatives Angela Miller and Greg Glenn have already infiltrated the Airport ahead of him. Hunnigan tells Leon that his main mission is to locate and rescue Senator Ron Davis as well as any other survivors with him. Hunnigan tells Leon that Senator Davis is located in the VIP lounge.
Hunnigan informs Leon that some parts of the Airport are currently under construction and that Flight N538 has caused structural damage to the building.
Leon makes it close to the VIP lounge and is contacted by Hunnigan who informs him that the lounge is locked with a password required to access, however the Special Operative agent who knew the password has been missing since entering in the Arrivals Lobby. Leon heads there.
As Leon traverses the building the roof begins to collapse due to the structural damage which Leon has to avoid.
Hunnigan informs Leon that some Special Operatives have gone rogue, they are selling weapons inside the building. Hunnigan states that while this action is unforgiveable Leon should take advantage of it. Leon finds a masked rogue Operative and aquires weapons from them (merchant style).
Leon enters the Arrivals Lobby as Chapter One ends.

Chapter Two
Inside the Arrivals Lobby which is the same area Flight N538 has crashed. Leon realises the Operative is nowhere in sight but the plane is blocking half the Lobby so decides to take a short cut through the plane to make it to the otherside. Leon battles his way through a zombie infested plane and makes it out the otherside near an engine that Leon has to dodge as it explodes.
Leon finds the SO (Special Operative) injured in the corner. He informs Leon that his team was heading through the underground tunnels, they encountered something that didn’t resemble a normal zombie. He panicked and fled then locked the doors behind him as he exited. He informs Leon his team has the password. He gives Leon his shotgun out of shame stating a coward shouldn’t have such a weapon.
Chapter Two ends with Leon informing Hunnigan he is headed into the underground tunnels.

Chapter Three
In the underground tunnels Leon locates the missing password on the floor nearby some ammunition, no sign of the abandoned team members though. Hunnigan informs Leon that the VIP lougne is nearby now that he has the password he should head there. Opening a set of doors Leon is suddenly charged by a Tyrant (looks a lot like the Proto Tyrant). Leon dodges it’s charges as the Tyrant continues to run and disappears.
On his way to the VIP Lounge Leon encounters a civilian woman near the infirmary. She tell’s Leon his rescue mission is pointless there is a large monster roaming the halls, it tore into the infirmary with it’s huge claw, somehow she survived the attack. The woman tells Leon where the infirmary is and heads off in the other direction.
Leon finally makes it into the VIP area just as a man is about to be attacked by zombies. He shoots the zombies and saves the man just as Claire Redfield arrives and recognises Leon immediately. They each question why the other is there but don’t answer each other, then head off to find the VIP lounge together where they find Senator Ron Davis. Leon tells the Senator he is there to rescue him, then asks Claire how many of her group there is to which she reponds “Five”. Claire explains there is a child named Rani with them as well.
One of the Special Operatives begins banging on the door to let them in, Leon questions if they have been bitten but they deny being bitten however they have been shot, friendly fire. Leon is sitll hesitant so the SO tells Leon if they let him in he has vital information he can share.
The SO tries to tell the group something about “Planes, more planes” however he is too injured to continue. Leon recalls the infirmary and tells the group he will go and fetch medicial supplies for the injured man. The woman he met earlier outside the infirmary appears and gives Leon the key. Claire wants to go with Leon but he tells her its too dangerous, the chapter ends as he heads out for the infimary.

Chapter Four
Leon heads back into the hallway outside the VIP area and contacts Hunnigan to inform her that he has located the survivors. Hunnigan wants to prepare for their extraction but Leon informs her that one of the survivors is injured and needs medical attention first. Leon tells Hunnigan he is heading to the infirmary and she informs him to hurry back. Heading back down toward the infirmary and through the underground network along his way Leon encounters several zombies in airport terminal uniform.
Leon makes it to the infimary and locates medical supplies but is confronted by the Tyrant. Dodging the Tyrant’s attacks Leon escapes into the next area and battles the Tyrant. Retreating to a safe distance to fire at the Tyrant’s exposed heart eventually after inflicting enough damage the Tyrant collapses and dies.
Returning to the VIP area Leon retraces his steps but when reaching the underground network the pipes along the wall have suffered damage now and steam pours out, Leon has to dodge his way past the steam escaping and blocking his path.
Arriving back at the VIP lounge and regrouping with the survivors the Senator complains about the noise the dying SO soldier has been making. Claire administers first aid to the injured SO as Leon questions him. He informs them that they recieved an emergency transmission from one of their team members who is trapped in the Eastern part of the Duty Free area. The trapped team member told them about a call he had intercepted from a pilot who informed him that his plane was being overrun by infected, then contact was lost. Leon asks how he can get into the Eastern Duty Free area and the injured SO tells him to head through Security. The SO’s radio recieve a transmission with someone asking for Carl, they appear to be in trouble.
Leon prepares to head out but contacts Hunnigan first, Leon tells her about the pilot’s transmission and that he has a bad feeling, he will be back in touch soon.

Chapter Five
Leon heads out of the VIP area and into Western Duty Free, where he encounters zombies that vomit acid at him. A little further on and Leon intercepts a transmission from Hunnigan informing him that she has recieved reports of desperate gunfire coming from the Security area and that since Leon needs to go through there to get the Eastern Duty Free he should be careful.
Soon after Leon finds a ladder hatch in the floor and drops down into the Security area. Hunnigan contacts him and warns him to be careful and hurry out of there. Just as Leon enters he hears a Tyrant killing off surviving SO members, one of which throws a grenade and blows open a hole near Leon. The SO members are now infected and Hunnigan informs Leon they are wearing body armor so aim for the head and legs.

Repairman's Note
Damn trashed circuits. What's going on here?
We could be letting anybody through with security like this.
Our dog kennels are malfunctioning, and so is our locking mechanism for the civilian route.
Spec. Ops. Memo
We got separated. This place is a hell hole. Where's our backup?
If anyone reads this, we've gone in search of the VIP lounge.
From what we can gather, the lounge is a highly secure area. Hopefully we'll find a way to get in.
Leon continues onward and down a set of stairs making it to the infimary which is locked. In a nearby room Leon locates an activation card and uses it on a computer to unlock shutter doors from several areas. Retracing his footsteps back to said shutter doors Leon finds more zombies and zombie dogs along the way. Leon finds an area with security metal dectector scanners, in this area is the second activation card again using it on a nearby computer he opens the Eastern Duty Free area doors which are nearby, heading through ends the chapter.
Chapter Six
The next chapter opens with Leon inside the Eastern Duty Free area, as he walks by some shutters they begin to shake however whatever is on the otherside causing it can’t get out. Leon contacts Hunnigan and informs her that he believes there could be survivors beyond the shutters, Hunnigan tells Leon the only way to get in would be through the ceiling so he should head up a nearby escalator.
About Shutter Controls
I've really tried my best to repair the shop shutter system.
Seems like we still can't get them to open/close individually.
So for now, I've set up the system so that they all open simultaneously, at the flick of the shutter switch.
Be advised!

Leon heads up the escalator into a room with lockers and computer terminals, he finds a hole in the ground and drops down into the area behind the shutters. Leon meets a surviving SO member who he asks about the information he had previously recieved regarding the planes. The SO member confirms that they recieved reports that a plane had been overun and auto-pilot was engaged. That plane could take off at any moment, Leon ask’s how they can stop it. The SO responds that the only way to stop the auto-pilot would be to board the plane and manually do so. Leon asks how to get to the plane, the SO member tells him that the area is completely collapsed but he might be able to get there via the baggae chute following the conveyor belt into the plane. Finally the SO member informs Leon he can now open the shutters using their nearby switch but some areas are flooded with zombies, Leon now has to defeat all the zombies in the area to save the SO member.
After despatching of many zombies coming from the now opened shutters, the SO member thanks Leon and leaves the area. Leon recieves a transmission from Hunnigan, Leon tells Hunnigan about the plane and his plan to stop it. Hunnigan tells Leon to contact her when onboard the plane and she will talk him through the auto-pilot sequences, the chapter ends there.

Chapter Seven
Leon still in the Eastern Duty Free area heads through one of the now opened shops and recieves a transmission just before heading through some doors. Leon asks how he would get to the baggage chute and Hunnigan informs him to head back to the VIP lounge and she has updated his map from there. When making it back as far as the Western Duty Free area Leon finds;
Message From Bruce
The shutters to the VIP area are closed as requested.
Hopefully this will curb random people walking around up there!
To release it, use the switch at the south east of the cosmetic shop.
From Bruce,

Leon presses the switch and opens shutters near the VIP lounge allowing him access back there. After despatching of some zombie dogs Leon makes it back to the VIP lounge where he is greeted by Claire who asks him whats wrong, Leon informs Claire that he needs to get to the baggage area and one of the other survivors gives him directions, the quickest way being through the underground network. Leon then recieves the underground network pass.
Leon leaves the VIP lounge and heads down in the direction of the Infimary, along his way he recieves a transmission from Hunnigan. She tell’s him once in the underground network to look for the south exit and she has updated his map. Leon follows the directions and makes it to baggage claim.

Conveyor Notice
The fuse blew again. The wire has to be taken off.
Third time I've had to get a new fuse and wire this month.
To whoever's on the next shift, you'll find both items in the maintenance area.
A file informs Leon that fuses in the area are damaged, more fuses can be found in the maintenance area. Leon tries to use the fuse box and the conveyor belt begins moving but the circuit shorts out. Leon contacts Hunnigan and informs her of the situation. Hunnigan updates his map with coordinates for the maintenance area. Exiting baggage claim and into a warehouse where he finds the replacement fuse and wire. Back in baggage claim Leon uses the parts to fix the fuse box, he then jumps onto the conveyor belt and the chapter ends.
Chapter Eight
The chapter opens with Leon on the plane inside the cargo hold, he uses a nearby elevator to access the planes VIP area. When there he recieves an incoming transmission from Hunnigan who informs him that the auto-pilot will disengage once the cabin is depressurized. In order to do this Leon must locate the emergency pressure control panel but a code is required to access it. Leon must locate the code and he has a brief time to do so. Leon is given 8 minutes on a timer. He locates the pilot’s card in the same room, Leon then begins heading through the plane battling zombies along his way.
Pilot's Log
They've changed the control panel code again.
The PIN code is the ID card number backwards.
Passenger's Will
The plane is descending. We're going down.
I write this surrounded by monsters. Everybody is turning...
Will I become one of them? Or will we crash first?
No humans left alive. Oh god...please. I don't want to die.
To my beautiful wife: I love you always.
The file informs Leon that the code is the ID card number backwards. Leon locates the pressure control panel and enters the code “1996” to reduce the pressure and stop the plane departing, he informs Hunnigan who tells him he can now escape using a hatch to enter the cargo hold.
Once Leon has done so and enters the cargo hold he is immediately attacked by another Tyrant (proto tyrant). When dodging its attack the Tyrant smashes into the plane causing a fire to break out. Leon now has a set amount of time to defeat the Tyrant and escape. Eventually Leon defeats the Tyrant who collapses in the fire. Leon escapes the panel into the arrivals area, diving out through flames blocking his path, Leon continues running and finds emergency shutters, closing them behind him the plane explodes and the shutters rattle. Leon is safe however Hunnigan contacts him and informs him there are more planes set to auto-pilot, too many for him to stop before they take off. The only way to stop them all is to stop the power to the control tower, chapter ends here.

Chapter Nine
After searching the arrivals area Leon finds a door but requires the baggage worker’s pass in order to open it. Leon locates the pass and heads through the locked doors. Leon is back in the crashed plane area where he previously meet the injured SO who still remains here. He uses the baggage worker’s pass again in here and arrives back in baggage claim, heading straight through into the warehouse again Leon finds a locked door here and uses the pass once again.
Leon is now in the generator tunnels, here Leon battles many zombies and zombie dogs. Once defeating them he locates the generator and shuts it off. An incoming transmission from Hunnigan congratulates Leon as she informs him he was successful and all planes are now grounded. Hunnigan tells Leon to get back to the VIP lounge with the survivors for extraction she is prepping. End of chapter.

Chapter Ten
Leon is heading back to the VIP lounge via the generator tunnels when he is attacked by a T-103 Super Tyrant. Leon dodges it’s attacks while running away through the tunnels. Upon successfully dodging it’s multiple attacks Leon reaches a set of doors and the chapter ends here.
Chapter Eleven
Having left the generator tunnels, Leon is now in the warehouse and the Super Tyrant is still is pursual of him. Leon stops running now and faces the Tyrant in combat. While battling the Tyrant, Leon finds a switch in the room, using the switch opens some shutters revealing a plane engine (turbine). After enough time of damage passes the Super Tyrant smashes down a gate in anger allowing Leon access to a hidden corridor, Leon heads there and finds a switch. Pushing the switch the engine starts and the Super Tyrant is sucked into it and destroyed to end the chapter.
Chapter Twelve
Back at the VIP Lounge Leon talks to Senator Davis and Claire. The following cinematic plays out very close to the CGI movie. Leon informs them that it’s time to leave and the Senator questions where is their reinforcements. Leon insists there is not enough time and they must leave now. The Senator asks whats the plan and Leon tells them to run across the lobby. Leon tells the skeptical Senator that it’s their best chance as the lobby is wide allowing them more room to navigate, it’s too dangerous to head the long way around. Claire agrees with Leon adding that the zombies aren’t fast and they can dodge by them. The Senator questions her knowledge as an NGO how would she know. Leon informs the Senator that Claire is one of the few Raccoon City survivors. She has more experience with this hellish nightmare than anyone else to which the Senator has no response.
Leon, Claire and one of the other survivors are shown running through the lobby and they stop at a set of doors as the Senator, an SO operator and another survivor catch up. They begin to question if they are going to make it when the doors open and zombies flood in followed by zombies cornering them from behind. Leon spots the airports entrance and the group take off again. Some of the survivors escape as Leon stays back and lays down cover fire. Three Marines (later confirmed by Hunnigan although they are dressed the same as the SO operators) enter the room via a hole in the wall and begin firing in support of Leon. Davis panics and again questions if they are going to make it, to which Leon shows him and Claire the exit as they leave together. Leon contacts Hunnigan who already knows the marines are on site and she is relieved Leon has escaped. Leon realises that Hunnigan had managed to arrange this and he is impressed she was able to get authorization.
Hunnigan explains that once receving confirmation from USAMRID that the virus was used in the attack was the T-virus she submitted her plan to the president who pushed it through as a special emergency act. Every marine involved in the operation was vaccinated first. Leon tells her nice work and asks whats next? Hunnigan states it’s going to be a long day and Leon responds “You’re telling me”.
The credits roll.
