Story (p.005)
It's been two months since that incident.
Raccoon, a small town in the American midwest. Bizarre murders suddenly occurred in a mansion in the town. However, an investigation by S.T.A.R.S., a special unit of the Raccoon City Police Department, revealed the cause of the murders to be a viral weapon from the Umbrella Corporation, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. With the help of Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, the case appeared to be solved.
But the nightmare wasn't over! The survivors of S.T.A.R.S., who'd experienced the tragedy, reported the truth of the incident to their comrades, but due to the unrealistic nature of the story and someone's efforts to cover it up, the incident was kept in the dark. And now tragedy has struck once more. Raccoon City's filled with Zombies. Two people, a man and a woman, happen to visit the city at the same time and witness unbelievable sights.

Tragic Characters (p.006-009)
Leon S. Kennedy
A brave rookie police officer assigned to the Raccoon Police Department
A rookie police officer just assigned to the Raccoon City Police on the day of the tragedy in Raccoon City. He was late for assuming his post and was speeding in his jeep. However, as soon as he reaches Raccoon City, he gets embroiled in the incident.
He's accustomed to handling firearms as a police officer and can easily use weapons like shotguns and magnums that have significant recoil when fired. He's brave with a strong sense of justice, dedicating his actions to the mission of protecting the vulnerable.
Claire Redfield
A kind-hearted female rider struggling to find her brother
The sister of Chris Redfield, one of the previous game's main characters. She visits Raccoon City on a motorcycle to locate her brother's whereabouts, as he has disappeared since the incident in the last game. While there she's helped by Leon when she's surrounded by Zombies. She's a curious female college student who treats vulnerable people kindly, so children like her.
She can handle guns, probably due to her brother's influence as a police officer, but since she's a woman, she can't use weapons that require great strength. Her special skill is using a lockpick. She can always use the lockpick she carries to open simple locks like desk drawers.
Sherry Birkin
A girl whose parents are both Umbrella Corp. researchers
The only daughter of a chemist family whose parents both work at Umbrella's pharamceutical factory. After her mother tells her she's in danger, she heads to the police station.
She's still young and can't use any weapons at all, but her small body allows her to fit into tight spaces adults can't.
Ada Wong
A woman who visited Raccoon City searching for her lover, John, who worked at Umbrella Corp.'s laboratory. She has a cold personality, but occasionally acts recklessly to serve her purpose. She meets Leon in the underground parking lot inside the police station and is with him for a while.
Ben Bertolucci
A freelance writer who sneaks into Raccoon City to reveal the evils of Umbrella Corp. After the incident, he hid in the police prison.
William Birkin
A researcher who was involved in certain research at Umbrella Corp. He seems to be deeply involved with the mysterious cells that started this incident.
Annette Birkin
Sherry's mother and William's wife. She seems to know something about the contents of the research her husband was involved in...
Brian Irons
The chief of the Raccoon City Police Department, who's often under suspicion. He has an angry temperament and has recently been collecting artworks of bad taste, which he displays all over the station.

Demons Incarnate (p.134-139)
Zombie
A living corpse that has been infected with the "T-Virus", a biological weapon secretly developed by the chemical company Umbrella. Its sensory organs are almost completely paralyzed and it acts solely based on its appetite. It will stop functioning if you destroy its brain marrow or cut off its head.
Zombie Dog
A police dog that was introduced at the suggestion of Raccoon City Police Chief Brian Irons, but became violent under the influence of the T-Virus. The type of dog's a Doberman. It leaps at you from a low stance, you have to use a handgun to attack it from below.
Crow
A crow that used to call the forest around the city its home. They're extremely ferocious and will attack not only dead bodies but also living people, since they used to eat human corpses lying around the city. They have a habit of always flocking together, and even invade the police station in search of food.
Licker
A mutated form of a human affected by the T-Virus that has been spread throughout the city. The name "Licker" is derived from the English word by the police officer who discovered it. It has poor eyesight and most of the skin on the surface of its body is peeled off. However, it has an abnormally developed sense of hearing that enables it to search for its prey, crawl closer and attack with its sharp claws and long tongue. They're sensitive to acid and high temperatures.
Giant Spider
A huge spider with a body length of 4~5m. It lives in the sewers leading from the police station. It's unclear why it has grown to such a large size. It attacks its prey by spewing a poisonous liquid.
Large Roach
A flesh-eating cockroach that lives in the sewers and has grown in size due to the effects of the T-Virus. With its extraordinary vitality and fertility, they've overwhelmed other organisms in a competition for survival in the sewers.
Ivy
A self-sustaining walking plant weapon bred from the data of Plant 42 from the previous game, it uses two strands of ivy to entangle its prey and disintegrates them with its powerful digestive juices. When exposed to an anti-B.O.W. gas, the Ivy's body absorbs and breaks down the toxin, converting it into a weapon and spitting out poisonous digestive juices. Since they're living things, they're very vulnerable to fire, so weapons that use fire are effective.
Tentacles
Although it doesn't have the ability to move like an Ivy, this plant can attack by freely manipulating its many tentacles. Its strong vitality makes ordinary weapons ineffective, but like the Ivy, it's weak against fire.
Giant Moth
Used as material for experiments at the Umbrella Corporation's research facility is an adult moth that escaped and grew abnormally. It seems to have gradually grown to a huge size through repeated breeding, and the cause is speculated to be chemical substances Umbrella Corp. manufactured. It prefers warm places and nests in the power sources of machinery. They're 1~2m long, and some have been found to have highly toxic scales. When fighting the Giant Moth, watch out for its toxic scales and attack from a distance.
Larva
A Giant Moth larva with a body length of 30~40cm. They normally stick to the ceiling, but when they sense an enemy, they drop down from above and attack by spitting out mucus. They can be fought with low-powered weapons, but they move slowly, so you can escape without being attacked by them by dashing.
Alligator
A giant alligator about 10m long that lives in the sewers of Raccoon City. It's unknown why it's there, but it's assumed an alligator that was growing wild in the sewers became huge and rabid under the influence of the T-Virus. Being bitten by its powerful jaws can cause instant death in some cases.
G-Small
G is a creature created by the G-Virus which alters infected organisms on a genetic level, and the G Larva it spits out of its mouth grow into this small G Adult after parasitizing other organisms. The parasitic larvae feed on a host organism, eventually devouring the host organism and emerging. Once outside, the larvae grow to over a dozen times their original size in just a few seconds and begin living as their own organism. Although it's inferior to the main organism first infected with the G-Virus, it has a similar vitality and attacks by spitting out more larvae from its mouth.
Tyrant
The ultimate bioweapon created by Umbrella Corporation researchers in the mansion where the previous game took place. It was created by administering the T-Virus to a prisoner who underwent physical enhancement surgery. In the midst of this incident, someone dropped it on the police station from a helicopter. Tyrant A is in its initial state wearing a coat, and Tyrant B's further transformed through some kind of stimulus to its body. Both have powerful bodies and extraordinary offensive capabilities, but Tyrant B is faster and more formidable. Tyrant B has long, sharp claws on its left arm, which were a threat in the previous game, but its attack power itself is slightly lower than Tyrant A.
G-I, II, III, IV, V
The creature that started this incident. Perhaps because the G-Virus was injected directly into the human body with a syringe, it has a powerful, almost immortal body, but the host has lost all sense of reason. It differs from the small G-Adult in that it doesn't devour its host, but gradually takes control of it. As it progresses to its final form, it tends to move away from its human form and increase its vitality. In the G-1 state, a huge eyeball develops on the right shoulder, and the creature gradually evolves around this site, but because it's imperfect as a living organism, it can only preserve its species with a person whose genetic information's close to that of the host. Therefore, they're wandering around in search of a mate.
