ZOMBIE (p.022)
A human completely transformed under the influence of the T-Virus, a Clay Virus strain developed by Umbrella Pharmaceuticals (known as the Clay Virus ε strain). As a characteristic of the T-Virus, creatures fall into a coma and their instincts increase (appetite in particular), falling into an abnormal state of starvation and attacking people. Furthermore, a carrier's metabolism drops remarkably and the body changes into something likened to a decomposing corpse. In addition, sense of reason's lost, and in terms of instincts being amplified, the spinal cord, mesencephalon, thalamus and limbic system developed abnormally when other parts were supposed to decline. As an aside, the hypothalamus is believed to control an animal's appetite, so it's hypothesized that even a Zombie won't attack people if the hypothalamus is destroyed.
G - TENTATIVE NAME (p.029)
When a human's afflicted by this virus, their body obtains resilient physical strength and vitality thought to be immortal. As the G-Cells increasingly spread with time however, human reasoning vanishes and it transforms into a different organism from a human. As pictured on the left, at the beginning only the right side has changed, and as the G-Cells proliferate, it becomes a deformed creature that absorbs the human aspects. Then as development progresses further, "embryos" will be produced within its body, and it'll propagate the "embryos" by transplanting them into a human body. Since they're imperfect organisms though, they exhibit intense rejection symptoms if they infest organisms whose genetic information's too different. As a result, it becomes a deformed creature beyond the taxonomies of nature. When the G-Virus parasitizes some kind of creature, it exhibits some intelligence such as wielding a weapon, but when it's offspring, intelligence will be lost as well, causing the G-Cells to divide from the body indiscriminately and come to attack things that approach it. As it's not an official experimental organism by Umbrella, it's unclear why G was created in Raccoon City, but it seems it has something to do with this catastrophe.
NEPTUNE (p.031)
A shark on which a Clay Virus experiment was conducted at an early stage. The effects of the virus are meager and it doesn't appear to have produced much results, but in water it's a powerful enemy with its tough placoid scales.
HUNTER
This Hunter was genetically engineered based on humans using the Clay Virus. A combination of its enhanced muscular strength from the virus along with other Hunters will absolutely stop prey.
CHIMERA
This Chimera was created by copying the genetic structure of a fly into an artificially inseminated human egg and growing it in a human female's womb. It grows at the same speed as a fly, so as a weapon it's a perfect creature.
TYRANT
This Tyrant's a monster in which a healthy adult male (a prisoner intended to be a test subject) underwent physical enhancement surgery and was injected with the T-Virus. It has huge claws on its right hand it uses to attack. The body has undergone dramatic changes, but it's unknown how the mind and brain have been altered. It's unusually aggressive.
