Project Umbrella Translation
STORY
Based on certain intel, Chris Redfield of the "BSAA" anti-bioterror organization breaks into a mysterious mansion, the stronghold of a weapons trafficking organization. In the middle of the search he confronts the internationally wanted Glenn Arias, but witnesses an unbelievable scene and consequently loses Arias.
Elsewhere, former Raccoon Police Department special mission unit "S.T.A.R.S." officer Rebecca Chambers, now a university professor, is investigating and studying mysterious cases of "dead people resurrecting and becoming savage." By looking into these cases, she discovers a connection to a "new virus" and succeeds in developing a treatment. Someone attacks the laboratory soon after, putting Rebecca in grave danger.
Chris goes to find and demand help from someone who best understands the incidents affected by the new virus, Leon S. Kennedy of the "DSO" agent organization under the President's direct command. When Arias' true purpose is a bioterror attack, the reunited duo leave for New York to apprehend him and stop his scheme.
CHARACTER
Chris Redfield
One of the founding members of the anti-bioterror unit BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) and an ace with outstanding combat abilities as well as excellent observation and insight, heavily revered as a legend in the BSAA. He was formerly with the Raccoon Police Department special mission unit S.T.A.R.S. and survived the "Mansion Incident."
Leon S. Kennedy
A calm, fearless face with a strong sense of justice who's shaken by few things. He was a police officer in the former Raccoon Police Department but boldly did everything he could to rescue survivors in the "Raccoon City Destruction Incident." The government valued his skills and he later became a member of the agent organization DSO (Division of Security Operations) under the direct control of the U.S., resolving numerous difficult cases.
Rebecca Chambers
A member of the former Raccoon Police Department special mission unit S.T.A.R.S. During her time in S.T.A.R.S. she also worked with Chris to investigate an incident. Currently a professor at a university in Chicago, USA.
About The BSAA
Abbreviation for Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance.
An anti-terrorism unit established by the "Pharmaceutical Industy Association" who feared being held accountable for the leak of "B.O.W." (Bio Organic Weapons) after Umbrella's collapse. Initially they only had roles like observers, but as the threat of bioterrorism grew stronger by the day, it was reorganized as a special ops unit under United Nations jurisdiction.
D.C.
A member of the elite BSAA team "Silver Dagger." Former U.S. Army Special Forces. A video game enthusiast knowledgeable in computer hacking.
Damien
A member of the elite BSAA team "Silver Dagger." An acquaintance of D.C. from their U.S. military days. He's nervous and sarcastic, belying his excellent physique.
Nadia
The only female in the elite BSAA team "Silver Dagger." Former SWAT in the Los Angeles Police Department. Having witnessed B.O.W.-related incidents happening all over the world, she applied to the BSAA out of righteous indignation. She's a master sniper.
Glenn Arias
A former soldier and arms dealer. Also an internationally wanted criminal. In the wake of a certain incident, he is plotting a bioterror attack using a new virus. Originally a calm and composed businessman in a theoretical school, he's also the founder of "AGUA", which isn't limited to producing drinking water.
MARIA
A slender and beautiful blonde woman who supports Arias. She has undergone physical remodeling like Diego, so while her human feelings have faded, she can only feel emotions for Diego.
DIEGO
Arias' bodyguard. He always wears a huge mask to hide his grotesque, deformed face.
