The BIOHAZARD 3 LAST ESCAPE -Epilogue Files- are a series of eight illustrated small stories unlocked after beating BIOHAZARD 3 LAST ESCAPE on Heavy Mode. They detail the individual stories of eight characters in the series following the Raccoon City incident.
The stories were requested by director Kazuhiro Aoyama and written by scenario writer Yasuhisa Kawamura in about one week. Kawamura subsequently directed artist Shigeomi Okamura on the details of the illustrations he desired.

However... Jill arrived to an empty hideout.
A dull light reflects off Chris' knife like a beacon on the floor.
Jill left there without hesitation.
She knows.
They'll live to meet again, she vowed as such with her sworn ally.
CHRIS REDFIELD
"Forgive me, Claire."
Chris Redfield signs off his umpteenth letter with his usual phrase.
As he removes his sunglasses and squints into the warm sunlight in the café, a woman brushes by him.
...Was she about the same age as his younger sister, he wondered.
Afterwards, Chris tracked his sister's whereabouts and learned of her joining the fight.
BARRY BURTON
Barry Burton stoops down before his young daughters and slowly cocks his head.
"I'm sorry, my comrades are waiting."
He'd almost betrayed them for his family's sake.
He was committed to repaying his comrades' trust in forgiving him, even if it meant being away from his family.
"Honey, we'll be all right..."
Smiling like a blossom, his wife stands on her tiptoes as tall as she can to kiss her husband.
LEON SCOTT KENNEDY
Leon Scott Kennedy faces a man identifying himself as a U.S. Government intel agent.
"So you're gonna kill me..."
The man's lips twitched into the shape of a smile.
"Leave Sherry out of this. That child's innocent."
"Indeed, but she knows too much."
The man briefly glances up, looking Leon square in the face.
"I'll be frank with you. We hold your abilities in high regard. It's not a bad deal. If you want to keep things civil, you only have one choice."
Leon closes his eyes and replies.
CLAIRE REDFIELD
"Leave me and Sherry behind."
When Claire Redfield hears Leon's words, she can't believe her ears.
"Leon, why?"
"You're looking for your brother, right?"
The weakened Sherry and injured Leon are in need of immediate help.
But she has no more time to spare.
"I... I'll be back. I promise you!"
Claire disappeared into the wilderness alone.
SHERRY BIRKIN
"Do you have any relatives?"
The army officer asks her with a soft voice, but Sherry Birkin doesn't answer.
The girl has no immediate family.
They met a grisly end due to the military virus "G" they themselves created.
The little girl holds herself with her arms and bites her tiny lip tight.
"I'm sure she'll come back to me..."
For the lonely Sherry, the red jacket Claire left her is the only human bond she has left.
ADA WONG
A woman gazes at her reflection in a mirror.
A woman called Ada Wong...
But she'll say goodbye to that name the coming morning.
It was almost time for her next mission.
"I'm not Ada anymore..."
There was a brand new laceration on her side.
"This is Ada's injury. Not mine."
When the woman was Ada, it was a wound she sustained protecting the man she loved.
Ada Wong exists no longer, and come dawn, the woman sheds endless tears.
HUNK
"Just you yet again, eh Reaper."
The pilot remarks spitefully after realizing HUNK was the only soldier he recovered.
"As always, you're the only one to survive. No matter how hellish the battlefield."
HUNK doesn't answer the pilot, instead taking out the capsule he salvaged and fiddling with it in his palm.
Hell is the Reaper's domain.
"The Grim Reaper can't die, huh..."
On his face, the survivor bears a faint smile.
