INTRODUCTION
Raccoon City, a major industrial city located in the midwestern United States.
Once a small rural town, it has grown rapidly ever since it attracted the giant multinational corporation, Umbrella, and is now known as one of the leading cities in the U.S.
It's said that as much as 30% of the population makes a living from Umbrella and its associated companies, and Raccoon City exists in tandem with Umbrella through the company's economic impacts, investment in the construction of public facilities, and large donations to welfare organizations.
Underneath the facade of a pharmaceutical konzern that advocates an illustrious corporate motto of seeking the health and happiness of people along with the company's advancement, the Umbrella Corporation has been committing heinous acts with no regard for bioethics.
At its core it's a biological weapons developer with collusive ties to the military.
They secretly create bioweapons called Bio Organic Weapons (B.O.W.). An accidental outbreak of the so-called "T-Virus" during the research phase leads to an unprecedented disaster.
The people of Raccoon City continue to enjoy a calm and peaceful existence as they move from yesterday to tomorrow.
It was so sudden they didn't even know how it began.
The explosive growth of the T-Virus leaked from Umbrella Corp. causes the city to completely lose its urban functions.
In a city overflowing with virus-infected creatures, the citizens lose their lives one by one in the chaos and riots. Even the bodies of the dead become inhuman, and the evacuation orders and screams are gradually replaced by bizarre roars.
Raccoon City's isolated by a biological threat---- a biohazard.
Eight men and women who happen to be there fight together to find a way out of the city.
Their time's limited to until the virus completely consumes their bodies.

Kevin Ryman (p.024)
Age: 31 / Height: 182cm / Weight: 89kg
P.OFFICER
A policeman in the Raccoon Police Department. An optimist at heart, he's a good-natured man who doesn't care for details. He likes to drink and smoke, has a habit of borrowing money, and is always late, so for those unfamiliar with his personality, he appears unsuitable for a job that requires discipline. He wants to join the special forces unit S.T.A.R.S. but has failed the selection exam twice. However, he's blessed with great physical abilities and is an excellent marksman, winning first prize in the department's shooting competition.
Mark Wilkins (p.026)
Age: 52 / Height: 185cm / Weight: 101kg
S.GUARD
He works for a security company in Raccoon City and watches over the safety of the community from the perspective of an ordinary citizen. The physical and mental fortitude he cultivated during his military service in Vietnam is evident in the fact that he's over 50-years-old and hasn't lost any of his strength. His experiences in the war have changed his outlook on life and he's become a man of many talents, loving his family very much in spite of his stern expressions, and on his days off he's a good husband and father always eager to provide for his family. He's constantly concerned about his family, whose safety has been jeopardized due to a sudden incident.
Jim Chapman (p.028)
Age: 24 / Height: 176cm / Weight: 70kg
SUBWAY STAFF
A young man who works for the subway. A friendly, cheerful moodmaker who makes everyone feel at ease with his various comments. He has a tendency to show his cowardice and say unnecessary things, but one can't hate him as he doesn't have any bad intentions. He has a deep knowledge of basketball and a penchant for gathering collectibles, including those of his favorite team. He's also good at solving puzzles, which is an unexpected aspect of his intelligence, and the intuition he has developed often comes in handy in unexpected situations.
George Hamilton (p.030)
Age: 39 / Height: 179cm / Weight: 79kg
DOCTOR
A surgeon working at a hospital in the city, and although he's young, his skills are top-notch. His soft demeanor, sophisticated behavior, and receptive and cooperative personality make him attractive not only as a doctor but also as a man. He loves to wear well-tailored English style jackets and is very particular about the items he carries around. He has been trekking for many years and is an expert at it in knowledge and skill. On his days off, he ventures in search of nature to the Arklay Mountains on the outskirts of Raccoon City.
David King (p.032)
Age: unknown / Height: 185cm / Weight: 92kg
PLUMBER
A quiet and unsociable man who earns his living as a plumber. He loves solitude and always acts alone. No one, not even his coworkers, knows about his family, past, or even his age. He never says anything unnecessarily, and his sharp eyes, deft knife work, and occasionally harsh remarks suggest that he has a violent past. He believes the only person he can trust is himself, and he never misses his daily work-outs based on his own principles.
Alyssa Ashcroft (p.034)
Age: 28 / Height: 176cm / Weight: 62kg
REPORTER
A newspaper reporter working at the city desk of a local paper, she's curious and eager to gather information. With her keen eye and inquisitive mind, she's highly recognized as a talented young reporter who has written many reports under her own name. However, due to her self-confident and competitive nature, she's in constant conflict with those around her. Her numerous scoop articles and traces of her investigative research can still be seen in various places in Raccoon City, even despite the chaos of the incident.
Yoko Suzuki (p.036)
Age: 20 / Height: 163cm / Weight: 58kg
STUDENT
A self-proclaimed university student with a wealth of computer knowledge. She seems to have been involved in an incident involving Umbrella Corp., but having lost her memory, the truth's unknown. Her occasional frightened looks, fragmented memories, and high resistance to the virus suggest she holds the key to this incident. Though usually quiet, reserved, and quite concerned about her weaknesses, her inquisitive nature allows her to act boldly beyond prediction, indicating she's quite a tough woman.
Cindy Lennox (p.038)
Age: 24 / Height: 175cm / Weight: 64kg
WAITRESS
A waitress who works at "J's BAR" in the city. She's loved by the people who visit the bar for her constant smile and meticulous attention to detail. Her work ethic shows that she cares more about others than herself, which people tend to think is a natural trait, but it can also be seen as a little too much devotion. Surprisingly courageous even in critical situations, her sometimes melancholic expressions and discerning attitude toward life suggest she has a past she doesn't talk about.
