I’ve organized further investigation into their connection.
The relationship between the two became closer once Moira was in elementary school.
They seem to have been acquainted by family as a result of Moira’s father, Barry, staying in contact with Claire’s brother, Chris, following the Raccoon Incident.
Moira trusts and admires Claire as if she were her real older sister.
As evidence of this, Moira shook off the objections of her father, Burton, and enlisted in TerraSave so she could follow in Claire’s footsteps.
Even thinking about it from an investigative report like this, Moira's admiration for Claire appears to be rather deep.
I wonder what sort of influence this admiration will have on the experiment.
It’ll be interesting to see how their relationship develops as they go through the experiment.
What we're focusing on is the link between relative environmental changes and emotions.
We want to get to the root of what leads fear to arise.

Follow-up on candidates no. 2 and no. 6, Claire Redfield and Moira Burton.
Claire met Moira through her friendship with Moira's father, Barry. Moira looked up to Claire like a big sister, sometimes trusting her more than she did her own father. When Claire joined Terra Save, Moira was determined to do the same, despite strong opposition from her father who tried to keep her away from the dangers of bioterrorism.
It's clear that Moira has a deep level of trust and respect for Claire. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out during the experiment. Will their friendship be able to survive this ordeal? And how will that affect their responses to the experiment? I'm looking forward to watching it all unfold, particularly how these factors contribute to their emotional response, and if they will serve as a trigger for fear.
