"SCARMIGLIONE" DEVELOPMENT DOCUMENT
The Scarmiglione is a B.O.W. that utilizes shark DNA, considered a promising prospect from the beginning of development. Sharks have already been perfected as predators of the seas to the extent there has been no change in their morphology for hundreds of millions of years. The fact that it incorporates their DNA is enough to ensure ferocity and aggressiveness as a weapon.
While Scarmiglione's shape is deeply ingrained with the form of its shark ancestors, it has protrusions shaped like spears on its limbs.
These spiny shapes are unique to cartilaginous fish. They're the result of segments of its placoid scales transforming by binding with strong muscle fibers. This allows it to perform stabbing attacks and move with the agility of a land animal.
The changes in its placoid scales don't stop there. It has frontal armor so strong it's close to an armored car, incomparable to that of a shark. As a result it successfully gained a high rate of defense that could be said to have made it invincible against frontal attacks.

SCARMIGLIONE DEVELOPMENT DOCUMENT
Scarmiglione is a B.O.W. that utilizes the well-suited DNA of a shark.
The genetic make-up of sharks has changed very little during their history as predators for millions of years, and the use of that DNA provides the fierce aggression in these weapons.
The Scarmiglione's form and color resembles that of its shark ancestors, and its spiny appendages resembles lances.
The spines are a characteristic of cartilaginous fish. They form when an area of placoid scales mutate and combine with hardened muscle fiber. This allows the creatures to use piercing attacks and move with as much agility as land animals. On top if this, the scales are as strong as an armored car, far surpassing the scales of a normal shark.
This gives them unparalleled frontal defenses.
