PATRICK'S MEMOIRS 3
I have been in Master Oswell's service for many years, but this time I am no longer sure of his real intentions.
Up until now, Master Oswell has cut off all contact with the outside world and taken scrupulous care to maintain the secrecy of his whereabouts.
However, Master Oswell has instructed me to inform a certain man of his location, or rather, to ensure the information reaches his ears without him realizing it was intentionally passed on.
The name of that man is "Albert Wesker."
I wondered how long it had been since I first heard that name.
I have met him only once. That must have been more than ten years ago.
It is my duty as a butler to remember people's faces, but I am ashamed to say I cannot clearly recall his.
Those eyes of his are why.
Eyes that transfixed my own, from which no warmth could be felt, and made any other impressions vague.
In any event, I first decided to entrust the information to a certain man so things would proceed as Master Oswell intended.
Although he is a cheap thug who talks big about being an informant, he is someone who will feed the information as I wish in exchange for a fee, and above all else, he will bluff his way out of any enquiries.
Most importantly however is the fact he happens to be an informant to a female spy in Wesker's employ.
As long as I gave that man (Roberto or Ricardo... some name like that) sufficient compensation and passed on the bare minimum information he needed, the outcome will be exactly what I desire.
I think I handled my duty perfectly.
But something most puzzling came after that.
Master Oswell granted me leave.
But why?
For the first time ever, I asked Master Oswell about his intentions.
But he would not answer me.
That signaled the end, delivered without a sound.
Serving Master Oswell and the Spencer Family has been my life.
And now the curtain has been quietly closed.
The only ones to remain will be those SPs whom Master Oswell has never trusted, as well as those people locked up underground.
I do not think those men will be able to take satisfactory care of Master Oswell.
Does Master Oswell know he is going to die... No, that cannot be it.
That cannnot happen to Master Oswell.
He is not the kind of man who would be willing to die mid-journey.
I am positive he has some grand and profound vision I cannot even begin to fathom.
At any rate, true loyalty now would be to do as Master Oswell commands and leave the scene, as Master Oswell intends. I do not think I have any other choice.

PATRICK'S MEMOIRS 3
I have been in Master Spencer's employ for the majority of my adult life. As of late, however, I find his actions to be inscrutable. For example, he has taken every possible precaution to conceal his whereabouts from the outside world. For what reason, I do not know.
Then one day he asks me to find a certain man and make him aware of the master’s whereabouts. I do not know why he would go to such lengths to contact this man, but perhaps he wanted to see if someone could find him.
The man in question is one Mr. Albert Wesker, a name I have not heard in a quite a long time. I only met him once, and that was over ten years ago.
I am ashamed to admit that I cannot recall his face, because as head butler, it is my job to remember people. The reason, I believe, is because of his eyes – those cold, unfeeling eyes that completely overshadowed his other features. At any rate, I have endeavored to get the information into Wesker’s hands without letting on that it was Master Spencer’s desire that he have that information.
I know of a certain unscrupulous individual who could put the information on the streets, for the right price. He is the kind that does not care who he talks to. What made the individual I found of such importance is that he is in the employ of a female spy who has regular dealings with Wesker.
I paid this man (I forget if his name was Roberto or Ricardo) more than he deserved and gave him the bare minimum of information necessary to fulfill Master Spencer’s wishes.
I dutifully carried out Master Spencer’s directions to the letter. It was at this point that the situation took an even more cryptic turn.
The master, he let me go, but I do not l know why. I asked him for a reason – the only time I have ever questioned him – but he responded with only silence.
I do not know what to do now. I am filled with a sense of loss. Everything I have ever known is gone. I dedicated my entire life to serving the Spencer household, and now that book has been forcibly closed for no apparent reason.
The only ones who remain will be these untrustworthy security guards and the people imprisoned below the premises. I truly doubt the guards’ ability to attend to all of Master Spencer’s needs.
Could it be that he plans on dying? No! He is not that type of man. He would not want to leave all his affairs in such an unfinished state.
Master Spencer must have some grand machinations at work that are beyond my ability to comprehend.
At any rate, I can only obey his wishes and take my leave. I will be loyal until the end, even if it breaks my heart to do so.
