MUTANT SIMMONS DINOSAUR
The Enhanced C-Virus administered to Simmons has progressed to the point of causing further mutation.
It looks like a huge dinosaur with a tough and powerful body matching its appearance.
Compared to when Simmons retains his human form, his behavior's more instinctive. However, his hatred and murderous intent as Simmons still remain as he relentlessly targets Leon and Helena, even leaping at Ada while she covered them from above in a helicopter.
The Family appeared to have been observing their leader's movements after he was injected with the C-Virus. FOS obtained some of The Family's internal communications at the time as a result of a frantic intercept operation.

Even so, I wonder what exactly the virus Derek was injected with is. Although it appears to be based on the C-Virus, its mutations are clearly unlike anything we have on record. It's probably something Ada and Neo Umbrella created.
If there are samples we'll need to obtain them for study. We'll initiate a search."

シモンズが人の形を保っていた頃に比べ、その行動には本能的なものが多く見られる。しかし、執拗にレオンやヘレナを狙い、さらには上空からヘリでレオンたちを援護していたエイダに飛びかかるなど、シモンズとしての憎悪、殺意はしっかりと残されている。
ファミリーは、自分たちの長がＣ-ウィルスを打たれてから、その動向をずっと監視していたようである。FOSの必死の傍受作戦により、そのときのファミリー内におけるやり取りの一部が入手できている。

As the C-Virus infection begins to take root in Derek's body, he enters a stage-two mutation. At this stage, Derek's body resembles a gigantic dinosaur, and his musculature is quite dense. Unlike the stage-one mutation, stage-two Derek behaves instinctually instead of rationally. His driving force is to devour his enemies, and he even goes as far as to leap into the sky and attack a helicopter Ada is piloting.
The Family kept a close eye on Simmons after he was injected with the C-Virus. The FOS was able to intercept part of a message from one of The Family's members during this period.
