MARVIN'S MEMO
The precinct building was originally constructed as an art museum.
When it was closed in the late 80s, the city police department bought it at a bargain price and remodeled it as a police station.
It was located in the center of the city and had parking facilities, making it very convenient.
Our current chief, Brian Irons, is said to have coordinated the remodeling plan.
The various motorized equipment in the station were his idea. Although they're mainly meant for crime prevention, people say they're the product of his eccentric taste in art.
At the time of the remodeling, they demolished various kinds of special air-conditioning ducts that existed in its days as an art museum.
However, some only had the entrance and exits blocked up, but the ducts themselves remain.
If we follow them, maybe we'll be able to get outside?
Maybe the goddess statue in the hall.
That was originally used as the central exhibition hall and the primary exhibition space was on the statue pedestal. There's more than likely still some sort of contraption there.
I think it's worth looking into.
Still... if only we'd trusted the S.T.A.R.S. guys, or...
No, there's no point whining.
Anyway, let's give it a try, no matter how slim the possibility.
We can't just die here.

それにしても・・・S.T.A.R.S.

MARVIN'S MEMO
This police station was originally used as an art museum. It closed in the late '80s and was purchased cheaply by the RPD for use as a station because of its central location and ample parking.
Chief Irons himself is said to have been the mediator in the deal. All the equipment you see around was thanks to his suggestions, too. He says it's all to fight crime, but we also think his art obsession helps.
The various air conditioning ducts used during the building's time as a museum were abandoned during the renovations, but not completely. The ducts themselves still exist, and might even provide a way out.
And there's always the main hall with the statue in it. It used to be the main exhibition space, and there was probably a way to move large pieces in and out. Perhaps it still works. Might be worth checking out.
Of course, if we trust S.T.A.R.S. No, forget it... There's no use grumbling. Anyway, there might be some chance of getting out with their help. Maybe I'll check it out. I certainly don't want to die here.
