In hindsight, it was a stroke of luck that I stumbled upon t-Phobos' prototype.
The virus responded to the noradrenaline people secreted when afraid.
At the time I discovered that and told my lab colleagues, they brushed it aside, saying "Something like that would be useless."
But Lady Alex was different.
Upon looking over my report, Lady Alex was deeply intrigued by its peculiarity and kindly selected me as research leader.
It's thanks to her that, as t-Phobos neared completion, I was chosen for the position of director in recognition of my achievements.
I feel so very honored to have been able to contribute to Lady Alex.

今思えば、t-Phobosのプロトタイプを発見できたことは、とても運が良かった。
人が恐怖したときに分泌される、ノルアドレナリンに反応するウィルス。
それを見つけた時、研究所の仲間に話しても、「そんなものは役に立たない」と一蹴された。
しかし、アレックス様は違った。
私の報告書に目を通されたアレックス様は、その特性に深く興味を持たれ、私を研究リーダーに抜擢してくださった。
t-Phobosが完成間近となり、その実績が買われて所長の地位につけたのも、あの方のおかげだ。
アレックス様に貢献できたことを、とても光栄に思う。

The other researchers didn't see any merit in it. "A virus that triggers upon the subject feeling fear? Reacts to norepinephrine? That's useless," they said.
Fortunately for me, Alex didn't think so.
After reading my report on the virus, she became very interested in its unique properties, and made me the head of the research team. As we neared its completion she then made me the chief researcher.
Alex appreciates my genius. It's an honor to work for her.
