At night I played poker with security guards Scott and Elias, as well as Steve, a researcher.
That guy Steve got lucky quite a lot, he's gotta be cheating.
He must be playing us for fools.

Today a big shot researcher asked me to look after a new monster. The thing looks like a skinned gorilla.
They subsist on live food, so I tossed a pig in with them and they tore off its legs, then pulled out its entrails and played around with them for a while before finally eating it.

At around five o'clock this morning, I was suddenly tapped awake by Scott wearing a space suit-like protective suit, and he had me put on a space suit too.
He told me there's been an accident in the lab.
This is what happens when those researcher guys stay up all night constantly running experiments.

I'm still wearing this goddamn space suit since yesterday and for some reason my back's swollen and weirdly itchy.
I'm so on edge that I skipped those dogs' meals to get back at them.
Serves 'em right.

My back was way too itchy so I went to the medical room and they stuck a big adhesive bandage on my back.
After that the doc soon told me I didn't have to wear the space suit anymore.
I think I'm gonna sleep better tonight, thanks to that.

I woke up early this morning with swelling not only on my back but also my legs.
The dogs' cages were awfully quiet for some reason so I dragged my feet over to check on them, but they were all missing.
The damn things have run away after I skipped their meals for three days.
I'll be in trouble if the big shots find out.
