INFECTION CASES REPORT
The following is a summary of the various symptoms in the human body upon infection with the Idiomycete (※) produced within the body of an E-Type Test Subject.
Make sure to read when handling an E-Type.

INITIAL INFECTION
The Mold gradually replaces cells throughout the body, growing while using the carrier's body tissues as nutrients.
During this process, the carrier's ability to regenerate improves dramatically.
In experiments in which a carrier's limbs were amputated, we confirmed they could be easily bonded together spontaneously within a few minutes.
MIDTERM INFECTION
When the Mold reaches the brainstem, the carrier's thoughts become "tuned" with those of the E-Type Test Subject.
The carrier develops visual and auditory hallucinations while their speech and behavior become controlled by the E-Type Test Subject.
If this state persists, the person will eventually lose their sense of self completely.
TERMINAL INFECTION
Cellular permutation progresses and the body mutates into a form that deviates from a human.
The form a mutation takes differs depending on the carrier, but in all cases, they boast phenomenal physical capabilities.
When these forms go out of control, they are extremely difficult to subdue.
