G-VIRUS
A powerful virus developed by the genius Umbrella-affiliated scientist Dr. William Birkin.
After administration, it affects a creature's cells and bestows superior vitality and regeneration ability.
If infected without investing plenty of adequate time, it'll lose its self-consciousness and intelligence, becoming a "G-Organism" controlled solely by reproductive instinct.
Umbrella Headquarters conspired to send a U.S.S. recovery unit to forcefully seize G from the doctor, who didn't see eye-to-eye with their operational intentions, but they suffered a counterattack and were almost annihilated, as the doctor himself had administered G to his dying body and transformed into a monster.
This dramatic conflict became the incepting factor that later caused t-Virus infection to explode over all of Raccoon.

十分な時間をかけずに感染すると、繁殖本能のみに支配された「Ｇ生物」となり、自我や知能を失ってしまう。
アンブレラ本社は運用意向にそぐわない博士に対し、回収部隊U.S.S.を送り込んで無理やりＧを奪取しようと企むが、博士自らが瀕死の体にＧを投与して怪物化したため、反撃を受けてほぼ壊滅した。
この抗争劇は、後にラクーン全土にｔ-ウィルスの感染爆発を招く発端要因となった。

It gives the cells of the host to which it is administered magnificent vitality and regeneration capacity.
Incomplete exposure will result in the host becoming a "G Organism" which is void of reasoning capacity and self-awareness. A "G Organism" is driven solely by survival instinct.
The Umbrella Corporation hatches a plan to force scientists whose visions for the company are not in line with its own, to form recovery squads and capture Gs. These scientists, however, revolt and administer the G-Virus to themselves and undergo the G-Virus transformation. These scientists-turned-monsters, in their retaliation, nearly destroy the Umbrella Corporation.
This dispute would later trigger the beginning of the explosive T-Virus outbreak that would infect all of Raccoon City.
