ECOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION REPORT 2
The following is an investigative report on "ecosystemic changes" occurring in the "B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapons)" that have been discarded as failed creations in this facility.
May 18
From today we've moved the observation area and started monitoring the underground level areas.
Since these areas have very little light due to a low power supply, it's believed to be inhabited by organisms that prefer darkness.
May 19
I discovered red-shining objects in one part of the area. I couldn't verify its identity, though it appeared to be a creature's eyes.
I named this creature "Glimmer" from its vaguely glowing eyes.
May 20
In order to extract samples, I gave several workers an order to capture the Glimmer, but on the contrary, they were attacked by the targets and two victims were sacrificed.
May 22
I sent more workers were to capture it. They succeeded in shooting one down somehow.
According to reports from the workers, the moment it shifts from waiting to attacking, it reveals itself and presents an opening. Despite it being a corpse, this is one precious sample we've gotten our hands on.
June 1
Although I examined the captured sample, I can't figure out how it evolved into a form like this at all.
It looks to be a kind of Hunter, of which several subspecies already exist, but it seems further research is needed.

以下はこの施設内に失敗作として廃棄された「B.O.W.（Bio Organic Weapon ）」に起こりつつある「生態系の変化」をまとめた調査レポートである。
5月18日
本日より観測地域を移動し、地下階層エリアの観測を開始する。
このエリアは電源の供給量が少ないため、部分的に光がほとんど得られず、暗闇を好む生物が生息していると思われる。
5月19日
エリアの一帯に、赤く光る物体を発見。生物の眼のようであるが、実体は確認できない。移動速度が異常に速く、近づくと逃げてしまうからだ。
ぼんやりと光る眼からこの生物を"グリマー"と命名する。
5月20日
サンプル採取のため、作業員数人に命じ"グリマー"捕獲に向かわせたが、逆に対象からの攻撃を受け2人の犠牲者が出た。
5月22日
再び作業員を補充して捕獲に向かわせる。何とか1体を仕留める事に成功した。
作業員からの報告によれば待機から攻撃に移る瞬間、姿があらわになりスキが出来るとのこと。死体ではあるが貴重なサンプルが得られた。

捕獲したサンプルを観察するものの、どのような進化を遂げ、こんな形態に変化したのかがまったく分からない。
既に何種類もの亜種が存在する"ハンター"の一種のようにも見えるが、更なる研究が必要と思われる。
