COMPLETE MUTATION SPECIES
When the C-Virus functioning within the body of a J'avo is activated, its outer skin mutates into a form resembling a pupa, and the skin begins to harden at some point.
Then, after dissolution and rebuilding of body tissues is carried out due to the action of the C-Virus within the pupa and it transforms into the figure of a creature completely different from a J'avo, it breaks the strong crust and emerges. A J'avo that achieves such a mutation is called a "Complete Mutation Species."
There were a lot born among these species as by-products due to the process when Derek C. Simmons attempted the reproduction of Ada Wong. It could be said the Gnezdo and Lepotica were results of Simmons' pursuit of Ada, and some femininity remains in their figures.
In addition, by combining animal genes with the C-Virus, Simmons noticed the mutant species it created reflected the characteristics of these creatures, and so incorporated many genes into the C-Virus, including reptiles and mammals, and considered using the Complete Mutation Species as weapons.
In the end, a variety of Complete Mutation Species were created from the single successfully stabilized C-Virus.

After a human is injected with the C-Virus and turns into a J'avo, the virus will continue to mutate the host until its entire body is covered by a tough, cocoon-like structure. Inside this chrysalid, the virus will dissolve the host's body composition and reform it, thus giving birth to a completely different creature from the J'avo. These creatures are referred to as complete mutations.
Derek C. Simmons sought to harness this mutation process when he tried to recreate Ada Wong, but ended with a number of failed mutations instead. (Lepotitsa and Gnezdo are two such examples of those failures: Derek preserved the female aspect, but little else.) Derek's researchers soon learned that by mixing the C-Virus with the DNA of living specimens, they could create complete mutations that preserved the strong features of reptilian and mammalian species.
Being able to determine the final outcome for the complete mutation was a key component of creating reliable bio-organic weapons. This research was instrumental in stabilizing the C-Virus and creating something that would birth multiple bioweapons.
