CHRIS' DIARY
August 8
I talked it over with the Chief again today, but he still doesn't believe me.
I know for sure Umbrella had been experimenting with the monstrous t-Virus in that mansion.
People infected with the t-Virus turn into Zombies.
The mansion exploded though, leaving no traces of evidence. On top of that, this town practically survives off Umbrella's drug factory, so I have a feeling none of the townspeople are willing to open up out of fear...
I don't know what I should do.
August 17
There's been a recent spate of bizarre cases happening recently.
Never-before-seen monsters have been showing up in the middle of the night all over town.
I'm willing to bet Umbrella has resumed their activities.
August 24
With Jill and Barry's help, we've finally got the info we need.
Umbrella has embarked on researching a new G-Virus to replace the t-Virus.
Just what the hell sort of thing is the G-Virus?
Anyway, the three of us have talked it over and decided to fly to Europe, where Umbrella's based, in order to conduct a covert investigation.
I've decided against getting in touch with my younger sister.
I don't want to put her in danger.
Forgive me, Claire.

アンブレラがあの洋館で、恐ろしいｔ-ウィルスの実験をしていたのは間違いないのだ。
ｔ-ウィルスに感染すると、人間はゾンビになってしまう。
だが洋館は爆発してしまって証拠が残っていない。その上、この町はアンブレラの薬品工場で食ってるようなもので、町の人間は、恐れて誰も口を開かない...
どうしたらいいのだ。

夜中、町のあちこちで見たこともない化け物が出現するというのだ。
アンブレラが再び動き出したに違いない。

ジル・バリーと協力して、ついに情報を掴んだ。
アンブレラは、ｔ-ウィルスに代わる新しいＧ-ウィルスの研究に乗り出したというのだ。
Ｇ-ウィルスとは一体どんなものか？
とにかく3人で相談し、極秘で捜査するためアンブレラの本拠があるヨーロッパへ飛ぶことにした。
妹には連絡しない。
危険にさらしたくないからだ。

But the entire mansion went up in that explosion; along with any incriminating evidence. Since Umbrella employs so many people in this town, no one is willing to talk about the incident. It looks like I'm running out of options.
