C-VIRUS
A new virus strain which mutates humans into a B.O.W (Bio Organic Weapon) called "J'avo" by injecting it into the body.
These came to be witnessed in every corner of the world after it was distributed as a nutritional drug in an Eastern Europe warzone and injected by mercenaries who, one by one, became J'avo. "C" represents "Chrysalid."
A BSAA researcher left the following comments, but the result of the investigation into the C-Virus was "there are many unknown points and complete elucidation will take time."

これは、東欧の紛争地帯で栄養剤として配られ、投与した傭兵が次々にジュアヴォと化した事件を皮切りに、世界各地で目撃されるようになった。「C」は「Chrysalid（さなぎ）」を意味する。
