William and Albert. Those two are likely to be promising.

Practical Al and Scholarly Will. Those two really are opposites.
Moreover, they both harbor a keen sense of rivalry they lay bare at every turn.
The only thing I'd say they have in common is that the depths of their eyes conceal something extraordinary...

I received a sudden call from the director.
It was to "turn those two into utter rivals."
That Director Marcus rarely displays an interest in anything besides his research, especially people.
This is the most significant event since the training school was founded.
Well, if he commands it of me, I'll carry it out without any compromises. They'll be snarling at each other.

まあ、今回はマトモそうなヤツが二人もいただけ良しとするか･･･。
ウィリアムにアルバート。この二人は期待が持てそうだ。

学究肌のウィルに実践派のアル。この二人は実に対照的だ。
しかも、何かにつけてライバル意識を剥き出しにする。
共通点と言えば、目の奥に言い知れぬ非常さを秘めているところか･･･。
10月7日
所長から突然呼び出しを受けた。
何事かと思えば、『あの二人を徹底的に張り合わせろ』との事だった。
あのマーカス所長が研究以外、それも人間に対してそこまで興味を示すとは。
この養成所創設以来の大事件だ。
まあ、ご命令とあらば徹底的にやるさ。いがみ合うくらいにな。

There's something ruthless and cruel about them both...

It's the first time since this training facility was built that Director Marcus has ever shown interest in anything other than his research.
Well, whatever. Orders are orders. I'm going to have them tearing at each other's throats.
