Project Umbrella Translation
ALBERT WESKER
The man who masterminded the biohazard incident in Amparo and has been involved in all verified virus schemes so far.
Since taking up a new post as an Umbrella executive candidate employee in the 1970s, he played an active part as a competent researcher at the forefront of the virus research Umbrella advanced.
However, just as t-Virus research was reaching a level of completion at the hand of his fellow researcher William Birkin, Wesker transferred to the intelligence division, where he began exhibiting unsettling behavior.
Hiding his true identity, Wesker was inaugurated as Captain of S.T.A.R.S., and during the Mansion Incident he attempted to use his subordinates to collect combat data on near-complete B.O.W.'s.
Although his true nature was discovered by some of the surviving S.T.A.R.S. members including Chris Redfield, he took advantage of the chaos caused by the rampaging B.O.W.'s and escaped from the laboratory, defecting to a rival company with a vast amount of combat data as a gift.
That same year, in the case of the biohazard incident in Raccoon City, he requested assistance from the spy Ada Wong and secretly acquired a sample of the G-Virus that William developed from Raccoon City just before it was bombed.
Several months later, Wesker also attacked Rockfort Island and the Antarctic Base under the Ashford family's jurisdiction, in search of t-Veronica developed by Alexia Ashford.
He took away the corpse of Steve Burnside containing t-Veronica.
Then, in South America, he welcomed the new millennium... Wesker came into contact with former drug lord Javier Hidalgo while he was desperately searching for a cure for his daughter, then sold him t-Veronica as a regenerating drug in exchange for a large sum of money and organizational collusion.
In fact, he himself was revived by a virus and received performance-enhancing benefits from it.
No one knows his true intentions behind handing over t-Veronica, which could affect the entire continent, to Javier.

正体を隠してS.T.A.R.S.

ALBERT WESKER
The person behind the biological disaster in Amparo, and who has at least some involvement in every T-Virus related scheme to date.
After being nominated to manage the Umbrella Management Training Facility in the 1970s, he was one of the foremost researchers, active on Umbrella's viral research programs.
It was right around the time his colleague, Dr. William Birkin's research on the T-Virus was nearing completion that Wesker transferred to the company's intelligence division.
Wesker became the team leader of S.T.A.R.S., but that was only to conceal his true intentions. He used the disaster at Arklay to his own advantage.
After guiding his subordinates to the mansion, he secretly went off to collect data on the nearly perfected B.O.W.s that had been developed there.
His true intentions were discovered by Chris Redfield and a few other surviving S.T.A.R.S. members. It was thought that Wesker was killed by the Tyrant, but before he died, he injected himself with the T-Virus.
After collecting as much information as he could, and escaping the mansion he went to work for one of Umbrella's rival companies, bringing with him all the live battle data he had collected.
That same year, right before the biological disaster and subsequent bombing of Raccoon City, he received help from the spy Ada Wong in acquiring a sample of the G-Virus developed by Dr. Birkin.
Several months later, he attacked the Ashford family administered Rockfort Island and the Antarctic base in search of the T-Veronica virus that had been developed by Alexia Ashford.
He made off with the body of Steve Burnside, which was harboring T-Veronica.
And as a new millennium began he turned his interest to South America...Wesker comes into contact with a man frantically searching for a treatment for his daughter, the drug lord, Javier Hidalgo. He sold T-Veronica to Javier as an analeptic drug for a large sum of money and a stake in a collusive business partnership.
What Wesker's motives were for putting T-Veronica, whose effects would ripple throughout the entire continent in the hands of Javier, no one knows.
