ABOUT V-ACT
About V-ACT 〜From A Researcher's Notes〜
A mutant strain of the "t-Virus" has been shown to cause changes to the body, the vessel of the genome. When the host loses consciousness, they enter a dormant phase and this type reconstructs body tissues. In the process, it appears to activate cells and reform the body tissues themselves.
(We named this "V-ACT")
What's noteworthy is its "significant increase in muscular strength and speed."
The body in this condition moves "faster" as a result of body tissue alterations. And its nature is, above all, rabid.
Four researchers have already been killed in an accident that occurred while we fed them.
The scene became a bloodbath in an instant.
(We named them "Crimson Heads" for their sheer savagery.)
Although we can't just leave them in their current state, we must avoid disposing of that priceless prototype (Proto 1).
That's our duty.
But what should we do with a sample so dangerous?
We decided to use cryogenic gas for "Crimson Head Prototype 1" then sealed it within the crypt in the graveyard behind the mansion.

一度この状態になった固体は、体組織の変化により、「よりすばやい」動きを有するようになっているのである。そしてなにより、その性質は［狂暴］だ。

現場は、まさに一瞬にして血の海となってしまった。
（我々はそのあまりの残虐性からこれらを"クリムゾン・ヘッド"と名付けた。）
