Who is Chris's Partner Now?

No doubt Chris and Jill would re-team after the Kijuju incident. They were both North American Agents of the BSAA. Sheva was a West African agent. Chris was only part of the Kijuju op because he extradited the original investigation into Irving.

I think Chris will return to the US while Sheva stays in Africa, wich would make it impossible for them to keep being partners (this is if Sheva doesn't go with Chris to the US).

I don't know if Chris will be Jill's partner, because i don't know if Jill will keep in the BSAA. She may not be able to keep in the BSAA due to the experiments with her body.

However, it's not too important who his partner is, as i hope he will not be a main character again....

Yes, because Chris & Jill were together for RE1, it is often assumed that they should be together, but there is no reason (as shown in RE5) why Chris cannot work effectively with another agent (either Male or Female, though it'd likely be female going by the order Cacom have set up).

They were also together for the mission in Russia. After so much time after the Mansion Incident, they were still partners, and even after that, during their raid of the Spencer Mansion. True, any one of them could work with another agent, but if I were an agent, I'd preffer someone whom I knew pretty well and trusted with my life, as supposed to a complete stranger.

Sheva was a very capable kickass agent, but she was only there because both Jill was MIA, and Chris needed someone familiar with the territory. She is based in Africa and Chris in North America.

The only reason is that Umbrella Chronicles and RE5 established that Chris had been working with Jill for years - certainly between 2003 and 2006, and probably since shortly after the events of Code: Veronica.  They have a long history.  However, I would think Jill would be about ready to retire after being enslaved for three years by Wesker.

Also remember that Chris is listed as one of those B.S.A.A Agents that is allowed to work on his own.

Chances are, Jill was also the same, they just happaned to team up regularly because they were good friends. The chances are, Chris & Jill would have also had several lone missions over the years, or several other partners.

The RE5 Viral Campaign depicted Sheva continuing to work as Chris' partner, coming to his apartment in the U.S. when they got a new assignment, and Jill was nowhere to be seen. Can someone enlighten me on whether this is canon or not?

I heard rumour that the director of the adverts said they were canon, but I never saw any official source for this rumour.

They haven't gone against the canon of the games yet though, so they could easily be considered that way...

Well, Sheva is an official African partner, as far as I understood, she met Chris in West Africa not occasionally, she was assigned to help Redfield in his investigation. It may be that Capcom will follow those rhumors you were talking about and miss Alomar move with Chris to U.S. But for me personally she's not so interesting character as, for example, Carlos Oliveira, Valentine's fellow-partner by chance in Raccoon incident.

By the way, I also have a question: I've heard Carlos is dead. Do these rhumors have any part of truth?

I don't think about the viral campaign as canon... It makes us think Chris had a BIG trauma during RE5, and i don't think the events would have that effect on him. I just ignore it.

Carlos is dead in the movies (died in Extinction), but i don't know about the games (never heard of him again).

Agree. It would be more logically, if he had such the trauma after Jill's "death". Or if he had been infected.
