Another interview from

Another interview from 4gamer.

Quote:
Kawata: Regarding the Umbrella logo, it'll become clear at the beginning of "Not A Hero." It's a completely new organization established by remaining Umbrella members to "atone." Chris is invited there as an advisor from the BSAA (anti-bioterrorism unit).

So Chris is merely embedded

So Chris is merely embedded into the new Umbrella and didn't completely transfer there?

I'm with Dark Chris. Don't see anything contradicting previous info, unless I'm missing something.

possibly, i get the

possibly, i get the impression that perhaps originally he was working for Blue Umbrella, but due to the backlash, now potentially with Blue Umbrella.

just a thought.

"Invited as an advisor"

"Invited as an advisor" sounds like a temporary joint-op.

Chris probably agreed due to the thought of being in a position to keep remnants of his old enemy in check.

Quite possibly. It's the same position he was in at the beginning of Vendetta, invited as an observer to the Mexican Army.

Yea that was my thinking,

Yea that was my thinking, still, as far as stories go, its pretty weak, Chris v Umbrella again. But let's wait and see. Both are available to download in Austrailia now, so spoilers and youtube play throughs will be up on youtube.

EoZ looks disappointing storyline wise apparently.

DLC always come a day later

A lot has changed since then. From a conceptual standpoint it looks the same, but. key differences make it stand out.

At least it goes towards redeeming the intro to 4 killing off Umbrella. Turns out they never left. Just a change in management.

I'm really bummed that NAH

I'm really bummed that NAH didn't give any sort of insight as to the future of the series. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait till RE8 which will undoubtedly have even more open plotpoints never to be closed..

It's nice that Not A Hero

It's nice that Not A Hero brings back head-shot stun + melees and inserts parries as a replacement for RE6's counters but it felt way too short.

You can't fault Capcom for

You can't fault Capcom for trying new things. The thing with Joe using a power glove was at least a new take on survival horror. This will hopefully not be habitual, although technically, survival horror games should still incorporate basic hand to hand defense.
