Teaser was released http://youtu.be/CuvlEviCFK8

I've never been a fan of comic book movies, but I loved the Dark Knight and can't wait for the next movie. Tom Hardy is playing the new villian Bane, and he is a quality actor. Look up The Take and Bronson if you want to see him in action.

It will be in cinemas July 2012.

I agree completely, Nolan's Batman movies are better than most comic book-inspired films because of the real life aspect of the story; these are people you could very well see in the real world the way they are depicted. Batman Begins was epic and The Dark Knight was spectacular, so many memories of that film. I can't believe that this will be the conclusion. Ahh well, it was fun while it lasted. I wonder if someone will reboot it like they're doing with Spider-Man...

As long as these films continue to be profitable, the studios will find someone to make more of them.

The first 7 minutes has been released at an IMAX which was introduced by Nolan at a special screening. A similar thing was done with The Dark Knight.

Seemingly contiunuing the trend of inaudible characters, Bane is apparently quite hard to understand as his mask masks his voice clarity.

Apparentely Nolan has now made the voice of Bane more clear in the movie due to complaints from the IMAX prologue. A new prologue has been released and its reported that there is a difference in clarity.

Yes, I read that Richard Aiken, it's good.  I mean the less chances for muffled "I'm not wearing a hockey mask" or whatever he says in the car park, LOL.

Also the reports from the production team are indicating that Catwoman's performance is good.  Anne Hathoway in leather - yes please!

The movie was amazing. This will be a hard Batman trilogy to top. I can honestly say I like all three films evenly.

Great film. But flawed. Easily the weakest of the three.

There were some technical faults in the movie, but overall I loved it because it was telling a great story, and the things Batman has to overcome throughout the whole thing make it the most interesting Batman film in my eyes.

Also,

Spoiler: Mouse over to view
the Batman vs. Bane rematch at the end turned me into a 10-year-old kid again.

I have to wait till Friday to see it, Fuck Mexico's delayed release!!!

EDIT: Well I'm speechless here, I can't believe a film reached the level of greatness as the masterpiece known as The Dark Knight.

Perfect ending to one of the best trilogies of all time. Nolan is truly a genius. The only minor gripe I have is that there wasn't a flashback of the Joker or even a simple mention, I know he did it for respect but still it felt off.

The movie was fan-fucking-tastic, I would say it and The Dark Knight are close equals. It was truly the perfect ending, I was especially pleased with the fact that Bane and Catwoman were portrayed MUCH better than I had expected them to be; I always hated the look for Bane (along with the fact he's not one of my preferred Batman Rogues) and the actress for Catwoman, but both turned out to be astoundingly fascinating characters in the movie after all. I agree that The Joker should have been mentioned or shown in flashbacks (I mean COME ON they did it for Two-Face!!! Why not Mr. J?! >.<). One of the greatest film series of all time by far.

Uhm ... did you guys see the same movie I saw? I mean, yeah, I've seen worse (a lot worse) but still I thought it was a waste of three hours I could have put to good use elsewhere. I could have told that story in 45 minutes. This thing didn't end before everyone (even all the unnecessary new characters) had their moment to tell their dramatic backstory. Nolan has never done a more terrible job. The only three things I liked about that movie were the soundtrack, the bad guy (when not actually talking) and those few short scenes with Cillian Murphy. Everything else was just ... duh. And where was Batman? Most of the time we saw that new guy running around (can you say spin-off?).

Although I don't agree 100% I still think it sums it up nicely ...

I can't believe I'm reading what I'm reading.  I just saw this movie two days ago and loved it. This movie has some of the best acting in a movie I've ever seen. Great characters, great story, and that final 30 minutes were just awesome!! This is now my favourite movie ever, move over Kill Bill Vol 1.

(The only thing I didn't like about the movie was I expected more conclusion and deaths, but I still liked the ending)

Gotta agree with Veltro - an excellent movie, 2nd only to TDK in the trilogy in my opinion. Perhaps a bit of filler in the middle, but the ending half an hour was on the edge of your seat stuff.
