As it was promised before, the information about our new project “Notes from Raccoon City”:
Notes from Raccoon City is a new project of C.O.R.E. Pictures team. It will consist from 7 short movies (10 minutes each), featuring 7 different stories of Chronicles of Resident Evil characters. This project will present a well thought-out plot, which will logically end C.O.R.E. project.

C.O.R.E. (Chronicles of Resident Evil) - is a fan made movie project about Resident evil universe, which was started in 2006, and is still in development by the C.O.R.E. pictures team.
The C.O.R.E. plot is taking place in Raccoon City, between Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 , 3, Outbreak File 1/2 events. The main aim of this movie is to show everything that we were not able to see in the Resident Evil games and movies: How R.P.D. tried and failed to save Raccoon City, the hard days of U.B.C.S. mercenaries, Umbrella Corporation's secret operations and some other interesting events.

A bit of the news about the project.
During the last couple of weeks I had quite a good amount of the free time and as the result I managed to make a good work on the movie. Right now 37 minutes of the movie are already edited, yet there is still a lot of work ahead, but I can already proudly announce that project Notes from Raccoon city will be defiantly released, and if everything goes as planed, it will be released at the end of this summer.
Also I would like to talk a little bit about the story:
- The film plot starts from 1991 and goes till 1st October 1998
- The protagonist of this movie, as has been shown in the trailer, is going to be a police officer Nathan Davis, who works for the Umbrella Corporation.
- Almost all key events and characters of the main Resident Evil game storyline will be shown and affected in one way or another.
- In this movie I have tried to create the unique atmosphere, where you are going to find in a harmonious form not only the horror and action, but also drama, tragedy and humor.

I've been following this project for years, and I gotta say something. I am a huge fan, but I don't like the direction the story is going. You guys figured out how to implement so many features in Lionhead's software it would be a waste to include characters like Elza Walker and tarnish the canon.
Would you like to cooperate on a new story? We can help you with textures, models, etc. and have access to more scenario material than anybody except Capcom.

It is pleasant to hear that you wish to cooperate and help with the new story and I like the idea. Right now I am finishing work on first story, and as soon as it is done we can start discussing new ideas for future stories and who knows, maybe we can make a true masterpiece.

Though movie Notes from Raccoon city was released already in October 2012, only now it is available with English subtitles.

P.S.
Movie has a beta version of the subtitles, which means there might be some grammar mistakes found.
Have you ever considered doing an English dub? I'm sure you could find voice actors, although I know redubbing it would be a lot of work.
I agree with Hunk. Having this project also available in English would make it much more popular.

I was having in plans to make an English dub version right from the start, when movie was still in pre production stage, you can even pay attention that all titles and texts in movie are on English, yet there wasn't time and opportunity to realize that plan fully, but most likely in the near future "Notes From Raccoon city" will be released fully with English dub.

Movie plot starts just a few hours after Nathan Davis story ended. The new main character will be U.B.C.S. mercenary Davide Mitchell, who was sent with his squad to Raccoon city with the mission to provide support and any help required to the police forces of the east Raccoon city police department and also to prepare it as a safe evacuation zone for other U.B.C.S. squads. But as soon as he arrives with his men to the department, he finds out that they have been sent to this city with completely another purpose…

Pleasant to hear, that you liked it. During this month File #1 should be released with the English dub. Also it is going to be slightly different from the Russian version. The whole movie will be split on 3 episodes + some new extra materials will be added.

Main Info:
Notes from Raccoon city is a strong spin-off to the main storyline of games Resident evil 1,2,3, Outbreak. Nathan Davis, like many other major characters in this movie, was never mentioned in the universe of Resident evil and serves as a new addition to it. The same can be said about the East Raccoon city police department. These innovations do not affect the main storyline of Resident evil games and are intended only to supplement it.

Ep 1. “Memories of Mansion Incident” – March 2013.
Ep 2. “Desperate Times” – April 2013
Ep 3. “End of the Road” – May 2013
