I'll kick this topic off with a very cool creature deemed "G-Zombie". Unlike the t-virus, the G-virus has the ability to bring back the dead. Special thanks to Laura.

Speaking of Spencer, here's an unused book with his coat of arms that was supposed to appear in remake.
Quote:
El Dorado (pronounced: [el doˈɾaðo], English /ˌɛldəˈrɑːdoʊ/; Spanish for "the golden one") is the name of a Muisca tribal chief who covered himself with gold dust and, as an initiation rite, dove into a highland lake[citation needed]. Later it became the name of a legendary "Lost City of Gold", which fascinated explorers since the days of the Spanish Conquistadors. No evidence for its existence has been found.
Imagined as a place, El Dorado became a kingdom, an empire, and the city of this legendary golden king. In pursuit of the legend, Francisco Orellana and Gonzalo Pizarro departed from Quito in 1541 in a famous and disastrous expedition towards the Amazon Basin, as a result of which Orellana became the first person known to navigate the Amazon River all the way to its mouth.
Also, the U.B.C.S. and U.S.S. had a much larger role in Outbreak.
Any idea when the G-zombie would've made an appearance? I would assume it would've been in the RE2 scenario as opposed to Operation Javier. That's a pretty cool design, but I'm curious as to what's going on with the bottom half of the zombie.

Was just thinking this. I'm guessing they would of crawled? Since the lack of legs.
Its legs were probably destroyed while it was still a corpse to prevent it from moving when it mutated, since G's mutations are said to be unpredictable.
The legend of El Dorado is either South American or Central American - I don't think it would have a particular connection to Africa. And if I remember my Spanish, "the Golden One" is a reasonable translation.

The version I heard - take this with a grain of salt - is that when Cortez or one of the other conquistadores arrived, one of the local civilizations saw the writing on the wall. They figured out that the Europeans had an insatiable lust for gold and fed them a line about a whole city made of the stuff, conveniently nowhere near the natives' own civilization. Obviously, it didn't work in the long run.
I have no idea if that's actually how El Dorado became a legendary city of gold, though.

I feel like Dr. Marcus with all of Newsbot's recent updates so I pulled this from the archive. One of the unused scenarios in Outbreak featured several dogs. One of which carried a side-pack and apparently mutated into some sort of G-dog.
In addition, here's an early version of the more aristocratic Lord Saddler. Sorry, but there's no 3D model for this guy. Just the texture.
What game was this stuff designed for?

G-Zombie for DSC and Saddler, Bio4.
I'm pretty sure it's Spencer, not Saddler. It's a remnant from the "Fog" version of BIO4. There's a texture for the girl somewhere in there too.
All awesome in any regard! Nice one Welsh!

If it's Spencer, then they modeled Saddler after Spencer.

Please tell me there's more of this stuff.

I'm pretty sure that's the case. They didn't change Spencer's facial texture, just used it for Saddler.

Fat zombie from Outbreak
Wesker's Bio4 costume included a Norman Osborne ID card, as well as a tie.
My god what a reference!
Not perfect, but here's a partial texture for the unused Tyrant.

Sorry, just couldn't resist.
That's perfectly fine. I've been slacking anyway.
El Dorado is the city of gold, if I recall. Kinda reinforces the Africa-thing. Wonder if it has a deeper meaning?
Or the Golden One. Depending on the translation.

I guess a better English translation would be, "Fort of El Dorado Book".
I feel like Dr. Marcus with all of Newsbot's recent updates so I pulled this from the archive. One of the unused scenarios in Outbreak featured several dogs. One of which carried a side-pack and apparently mutated into some sort of G-dog.
Dog No.1 Normal
Dog No.1 Mutated
Dog No. 2
Normal Doberman
Zombie Dog
Hmm, the mutant dog being a G-Dog would explain why it has a second head...
I wonder if... the G-Virus is in its collar pouch? The Birkin family pet? Christ that would have been great.
Another researcher who was supposed to appear in Outbreak. Will get around to all of these soon.
The mutated dog reminds me of the one in The Thing.
Which scenario was that?
Small update. According to a developer who worked on 3.5, the aristocrat in the above post is not Spencer. It seems to be an early version of Saddler.
