Capcom Bundling Both RE 3DS Titles in Japan

Capcom will be releasing a value pack which consist of the 2 Resident Evil 3DS titles in Japan. The bundle will be available on March 22.

Playable Biohazard 1.5 build released!

Most visitors to this site will be aware that a mysterious Team have been working on restoring and modifying a build of Biohazard 2 prototype (aka 1.5) into a complete, fluid game.
Each new media release from the Team has been met with jubilation and extreme anticipation for the completed release.

The labors of this mysterious group were accquired by an individual who was allegedly looking to sell them. In order to circumvent any potential sale of their work, the team have today released the build which was being shopped around.

Resident Evil: Revelations - HUNK Playable in Raid Mode

Capcom has released a video for the PC and console versions of Resident Evil: Revelations. The video gives a brief look at HUNK, who is a new playable character in Raid Mode.

Capcom: "There is a possibility" of Resident Evil series reboot

Resident Evil developer Masachika Kawata, producer of Resident Evil: Revelations talks about the future of the Resident Evil series in this Eurogamer article, where he talks about the suggestion of an open world Resident Evil game. He states that if they were to do that, they will "want to preserve what Resident Evil is and what makes it appealing to fans, while also making it accessible to new players. It would almost entail having a slight reboot to get the series into a place where it would work with open-world gameplay."

Resident Evil 6 - Siege and No Mercy Modes Announced

Siege
Siege is an online multiplayer mode for two to six players, in which a “lone AI-controlled rookie BSAA agent” is in trouble and in need of help. Players will split into two teams: one will assume control of enemy creatures, the other team using playable characters from the main game. Creatures will try to kill the poor rookie, while the character team will try to save him. Each game consists of two rounds with teams switching between the human and enemy roles. RE Revelations Confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U

Its been leaked for a couple of times but we finally have the official announcement now.

Resident Evil Revelations will arrive on 360, PS3, PC and Wii U on May 21st in the US, 24th in Europe.

Biohazard Anniversary PS3 Package to have Herb Tablet Case

According to e-capcom, if you purchase the upcoming Biohazard series anniversary bundle PS3 directly from them online, you will receive a special herb tablet case.
There are 4 types in total, but the one you get is random. The Resident Evil Anniversary Package comes out on March 22 for 8,990 yen ($100).
