Project Umbrella Translation
WILLIAM BIRKIN
The discoverer of the G-Virus, and general director of the virus development project.
Although he was a skilled scientist whom Umbrella prided, while furthering the G-Virus Project, he stopped getting along well with the head office, and came into contact with the U.S. Government (military authorities).
However, in order to steal the G-Virus from William who tried to monopolize the project, the Umbrella Security Service raided the laboratory, and he resisted and received fatal injuries.
He administered the G-Virus to his own body just before death and became the unknown organism "G", driving his body to ruin.

ウィリアム・バーキン
Ｇ-ウィルスの発見者にして、同ウィルス開発計画の最高責任者。
彼は、アンブレラが誇る有能な科学者だったが、Ｇ-ウィルス計画を進めるうちに本社とそりが合わなくなり、米国政府（軍部）と接触するようになった。
しかし、計画を独占しようとしたウィリアムからＧ-ウィルスを強奪する為、アンブレラ特殊工作部隊が研究所を襲撃、抵抗した彼は致命傷を受ける。
死の直前に自分の体にウィルスを投与した彼は、未知なる生命体「G」となって、その身を破滅へと追い込んでしまう。
