A "Veronica Plant" is any plant which has been infected with the t-Veronica virus. The only recorded one was a by-product born out of the reanimation of Manuela Hidalgo with the virus, after it infected a nearby plant.
History
The Veronica Plant was secretly cultivated by Javier Hidalgo in a greenhouse in his private residence following the successful reanimation of his daughter Manuela. It is the first recorded plant to be infected with the t-Veronica virus, and it displays a successful adaption.
The plant was kept under lock and key by Javier, who knew how much of a danger is posed to the world. He instead kept it reserved as his trump card in case of emergency. During the climax of "Operation Javier", Javier himself successfully awakened the plant, and allowed it to merge with his own body. The result was the V Complex.
Atrributes
The Veronica Plant possesses the ability to disperse its spores, which have the power to turn all plant-life and vegetation nearby into Veronica Plants as well. It is presumed that it would take only 48 hours for the spores of the Veronica Plant to invade 60% of the Amazon. It is not unreasonable to think that the Veronica Plant could wipe out a continent's entire ecosystem in a matter of days. Once its spores begin to spread, there is no known or effective method of containment.
