Umbrella Plant 57

Umbrella Plant 57 was an African facility operated by the Umbrella Corporation involved in illegal and highly dangerous biological research.  At some point during the childhood of BSAA agent Sheva Alomar, an accident occurred at the facility, and her parents - both employed there - were killed.  Their deaths gave Sheva her primary motivation in combating biological weapons proliferation later in life.
