"Suspended" was a Licker related mutation that occured on an unknown female citizen in the Apple Inn in Raccoon City.
History
The Suspended was an irregular mutant which appeared during the t-virus outbreak in Raccoon City which occured in September 1998. The legs of the Suspended were yet to mutate sufficiently to allow movement, and it hung from the hotel's ventilation system. It was killed by a group of civilians who escaped through the hotel.
Attributes
Unlike normal Lickers, the Suspended has a very red skin complexion as a result of blood seeping through the skin (similar to a Crimson Head) and it possesses several strange protrustions on its right arm. The brain of the Suspended has yet to fully expand, so it retains its eye cavities. It has also yet to grow claws and its internal organs are exposed as a result of its stomach having been ripped open prior to mutation. The tongue of the Suspended is longer and more developed than a normal Licker, and it possesses the ability to wind it around a victim's neck and strangle them to death.
