Peter Jenkins was a lecturer in Raccoon City at Raccoon University, where he was an alumnus of George Hamilton. In 1998, Peter worked to develop "Daylight", a vaccine for the t-virus.
History
In his college years Peter attended Raccoon University along with George Hamilton. While the two were both enrolled, they each had their own respective fields. While George focused on medicine, Peter was renowned for his academic skills, particularly in mathematics, winning at least one trophy for mental computation at solving mathematical equations mentally. After graduating, both men resided in Raccoon City. In August 1998, Peter conspired with Greg Mueller, a former chief researcher and director for the Raccoon City branch of the Umbrella Corporation, in developing the Daylight vaccine, an effective cure against the company's t-virus. After hearing about Umbrella's heinous crimes from Greg himself, Peter felt compelled to assist Greg in his efforts. 1
By September, Peter began collecting the components necessary to cultivate Daylight: V-Poison (from the wasp's nest in the emission tower 2), T-Blood (from Greg's Thanatos) and P-Base 3. At some point, he began to have suspicions about Greg's motives and eventually discovered that Greg himself had been responsible for the same inhumane experiments as Umbrella and was merely using Peter to develop Daylight so he could use it to get revenge against the company. Realising that his own life could be in danger, Peter opted to keep a low profile. Sometime around September 30, Peter ventured to the R.P.D. parking lot (by then being used as a temporary shelter for the last remaining survivors in the city) and posted a notice addressed to George urging him to come to the university.
Peter quickly left his final memo addressed to George 4, and was uncovered in his hidden study room by George on October 1, having been murdered by Greg.
