Paris Laboratory

The Paris Laboratory (also known as the "Umbrella Development Laboratory Paris Branch" or simply the 'Paris Branch') was one of the central laboratories of the Umbrella Corporation, under the European branch of the company.

History

On December 17, 1998, Claire Redfield successfully managed to infiltrate the laboratory, but was caught by security and as a result, a large amount of damage was caused to the facility's upper administrative floors.

The laboratory was responsible for the development t+G-Virus which was the goal of fusing the t-virus and its antibodies with the G-virus. On September 18, 2002, the facility was raided by a terrorist group led by former Umbrella employee Morpheus D. Duvall, and 3 samples of the t-virus were stolen from a safe used to store trial products, including the newly-developed agent v.0.9.2. of the t+G-virus. This led to the bioterrorism incident on the Spencer Rain.

Following the bankruptcy of Umbrella in 2003, the facility was shut down.
