Ndesu was a giant human-based B.O.W. developed with an improved variation of the "Plaga" parasite by Tricell Incorporated.
History
Based on the El Gigante B.O.W. recorded in Southern Europe, by injecting five Plagas into a large enough host and performing additional genetic modification, human hosts became these creatures which gained incomparable strength and toughness. The Plagas used were improved types which were able to receive and execute orders, eliminating the original bottleneck of the completely uncontrollable El Gigante.
On March 5, 2009, an Ndesu was unleashed in the Kijuju Autonomous Zone by Ricardo Irving to eliminate the BSAA Delta Team stationed in the area, and managed to wipe out most of the team. It was defeated by Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar.
Etymology
They are named after Ndesu, the name of a giant monster in Middle African myth.
