Monster Sergei was the result of Sergei Vladimir mutating after injecting himself with the t-virus. 1 2 3
History
During the raid on the Caucasus Laboratory and the biohazard caused by Albert Wesker, Sergei retreated into the main control room. After being confronted by Wesker, he injected himself with the t-virus. The resulting mutation was gruesome, reflecting Sergei's inner state of mind as he grew appendages resembling thorns from his body.
In a battle with the superhuman Wesker, Sergei was defeated and his mutated form dissolved on the ground.
Attributes
The tentacles fusing Sergei's arms were able to fuse into one larger tentacle which brandished a large claw at the end. This single claw was a method for both movement and attack. The claw itself is reminiscent of the Tyrant (T-002 Type), whilst the tentacles bear a resemblance to those present on the Nemesis-T Type. The t-virus variant used by Sergei is presumed to be a more progressive strain of the virus based on the original variant used to develop Tyrants, as he retained his will, memories and intelligence completely. He was capable of speech and reasoning, arguing with Wesker throughout their battle.
