MERCENARY'S DIARY
September 1
I completed six months of special training. It seems my body has also finally regained its edge.
I was a skilled soldier, but death by shooting was decided on suspicion of groundless charges.
I was tortured, and confession was forced.
The morning I waited for the shooting. All of a sudden, a miracle came.
The company picked me up and gave me a chance to live.
September 15
I left my vacation and returned to headquarters.
It seems that the UBCS, which is my unit, has a dispatch request.
Umbrella owns unique military units to oppose terrorism against the company and important person kidnapping, but also keeps "cleaners" who mainly deal with problems caused by secret products.
My affiliation is the latter unit.
September 28
It dawned. However, there's no difference in this hell.
It's out of control. Natural providence doesn't exist in this city.
All of those that die become hungry living corpses, and aim for raw meat.
Ah, I should've chosen the shooting. The camp would be Heaven compared to here.
I will be strong and pull the trigger, and hope my body doesn't begin to move.

9月1日
6ヶ月の特殊訓練を終えた。体の方もようやくカンを取り戻してきたようだ。
わたしは有能な兵士だったが、いわれのない容疑で銃殺が決まった。
拷問され自白を強要されたのだ。
銃殺を待つ朝。それは唐突に訪れた奇跡だった。
企業がわたしを拾い、生きるチャンスを与えてれたのだ。
9月15日
わたしはバカンスを切り上げて本部に戻った。
わたしの所属部隊であるUBCSに出動要請があったようだ。
アンブレラは企業テロや要人誘拐に対抗するため独自部隊を所有しているが裏の商品が起こす問題を専門に処理する「掃除屋」も飼っている。
わたしの所属はその後者の部隊だ。
9月28日
夜が明けた。しかし地獄にいることには変り無い。
狂っている。この街には自然の摂理などは存在しない。
死してなお飢える者どもが生ける屍の生肉を狙っている。
ああ、わたしは銃殺を選ぶべきだった。ここにくらべれば収容所は天国だ。
わたしは自分の死体が動き出さないことを強く願って引き金を引く。
