A theft occurred at the City Hall early this morning.
The design was deprived of two of the twelve jewels embedded in the dial of the jewel-laden clock at the main gate that received damage. Currently, Raccoon City is under martial law and there has already been many police officers who have died on duty. Therefore I will be suspending the investigation of this case.

Today at approximately 10am, it was revealed by autopsy that a 42-year-old male (restaurant manager) who took shelter in the station was found in possession of one of the jewels stolen at the City Hall on the 24th of this month. (The man was shot to death due to onset of disease several dozen minutes later) I will be suspending the investigation of this case due to martial law, but have decided to store the jewel in the station for a short while as evidence.

本日未明、市庁舎にて盗難が発生。
被害を受けたのは正門にある宝石時計で文字盤に埋め込まれた十二個の宝石の内二つが奪われた模様。現在ラクーンシティは厳戒令下にありすでに多数の警官が殉職している。そのため本件の調査を保留とする。

本日午前10時頃、署内に逃げ込んだ42歳男性（飲食店経営）が同月24日盗難にあった市庁舎の宝石のひとつを所持しているのが死体検査で判明した。（男性は数十分後に発病したため射殺）本件は厳戒令のため調査を保留とするが証拠品である宝石はしばらく署内で保管する事とした。
