Lott Klein was a 12 year old resident of Sheena Island. His father was the director of the Genetic Engineering Research Department at the Tyrant Plant on the island.
History
While he was growing up, Lott was heavily influenced by his father and Vincent Goldman, the commander of the island. Through them, he grew up with a faith of conciliarism that "outsiders" were of lower status than the residents of the island employed by the Umbrella Corporation.
When the people of Sheena Island rose up to fight against Goldman's tyrannical ways, and a private detective named Ark Thompson was investigating the island, Lott immediately reported everything to Goldman. During the Sheena Island incident however, Lott witnessed his parents transform into monsters. After discovering the incident was caused by Vincent Goldman, Lott began to doubt his faith and his mind went into chaos.
During the incident, Lott encountered Ark Thompson (suffering from memory loss) several times, and ran away from him believing that Ark would kill him for revealing his identity to Goldman. Lott later reunited with his sister Lily Klein, who he was highly protective of. After being saved by Ark from an attack by a Hunter, Lott begged for forgiveness and revealed the truth of Ark's missing memory. Following this, Ark, Lott and Lily escaped from Sheena Island in a helicopter.
