Linda (last name unknown) was a researcher for the Umbrella Corporation based in its Raccoon City branch.
History
During the outbreak of the t-virus in September 1998, Linda colluded with Senior Captain Rodriguez of the Umbrella Security Service to betray the company. Before leaving the city on his helicopter however, Linda decided to return to one of the branch's laboratories to take a sample of an experimental vaccine against the virus. In the process, Linda met fellow researcher Carter and a survivor called David King. After a lock-down caused by the escape of several Hunter R specimens, Linda ran a check on the vaccine and learnt of how to re-create it. After Carter unleashed a re-programmed Tyrant R, it broke free of its control and attacked him, crushing the vaccine's capsule and knocking Linda into the city sewers. After being found by the survivors and getting out of the sewers, Linda was shot in the leg by U.B.C.S. member Arnold.
Upon reaching the city highway, the survivors managed to escape with Linda via truck. Upon returning to civilization, Linda testified against Umbrella to the Supreme Court alongside another employee; Yoko Suzuki.
