Joseph Frost was a member of S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) assigned to Alpha Team with the position of OM (Omni Man). His trademark was a red bandana he wore on his head and he was a cheerful mood-maker, but he had the tendency to be reckless. His hobby was magic and he was known for always wearing a red bandana. 1 2
History
Frost was a firearms specialist and service technician also qualified in handling hazardous materials. Due to these skills, he was placed in charge of upgrade and maintenance of Alpha Team. Although he was an excellent officer, there were concerns about his behavior in emergencies due to his hot-blooded nature. Next to Kenneth J. Sullivan, he was the only member of the unit who was equipped with a video recording unit during operations.
Mansion Incident (July 23-24, 1998)
On July 24, 1998, Frost was deployed with Alpha Team to search for the missing Bravo Team in the Arklay Mountains. Upon discovering the team's crashed helicopter, Frost searched the wreckage and discovered the viciously mauled corpse of pilot Kevin Dooley. In the subsequent search of the area, Frost was surprise attacked by a pack of Cerberus and was mauled to death, the direct cause of death being a broken spine. 3 He was Alpha Team's first casualty.
