History
The resident Hornbills of Raccoon Zoo were once popular attractions before becoming victims of the T-virus. Their usual fruit and berry diet turned carnivorous and the flocks began to eat any meat scraps.
Remaining terratorial the Hornbills remained close to their enclosures within the boundaries of Raccoon Zoo, and would soar high scouting for any potential food.
Attributes
Despite the infection, the hornbill did not increase in size, but did retain its natural instinct to reside in large flocks. Using this factor, the Hornbill's will attack in large flocks, choosing to swoop from up high onto its prey. This was an effective method for the flock, as numerous birds would make small attacks on the selected target before it would be killed. This shock and awe tactic proved to be highly effective and were able to take down prey of any size.
