Title

Harvardville

Harvardville was an industrial city in the American mid-west with a population of around 100,000 residents. The local senator was Ron Davis.

History

Harvardville became the location of the new research facility and headquarters of the giant pharmaceutical company, WilPharma Corporation. Regarding attracting WilPharma's new laboratory to Harvardville, Senator Ron Davis had influence in Washington, and so local residents accepted the invitation feeling that attracting the facility to Harvardville would revitalize the region. For these reasons, the plan to attract the company was put into motion very quickly. The city became the company's base of operations after the company bought expansive land in the mountainous valleys and built its headquarters and a massive research facility there, far from residential areas. WilPharma became a staple of the city's economy. To the residents, WilPharma became something people admired but not accused. It was the company which brought hope and wealth to the small, old town that was almost dying 10 years before.

In November 2005, a massively orchestrated bio-terror incident occurred in Harvardville Airport. The t-virus was leaked in the airport and an Atmos Airline plane which was set to arrive there. Massive amounts of damage was caused to the airport after the plane crashed into the terminal, and the airport became infested with Zombie creatures. After Leon S. Kennedy, an agent for a secret agency under the command of the U.S. President was sent to the airport as a special commander of the Harvardville Police Special Response Team, a bomb later went off in the WilPharma Air Dome Laboratory. Another biohazard resulted, but was contained by the facility's anti-biohazard measures. Afterwards, it was discovered that the incident was planned from the beginning as a demonstration by Frederic Downing, who used Curtis Miller to carry out the actual acts. The incident was resolved by Leon, Claire Redfield and S.R.T. captain Angela Miller.
