History
Fong Ling is a native of the People's Republic of China and an agent for the Chinese Ministry of State Security. While in the agency, Fong Ling was forced to hunt down and arrest her own brother, who had been an activist fighting for democracy. He was executed the next day. Despite this, Fong Ling remained relatively unfazed and remained totally loyal to the Chinese government. She soon elevated herself to being their best agent.
Fong Ling's weapon of choice is a silenced Mk. 22 "Hush Puppy" handgun.
Spencer Rain
Following demands made by Morpheus D. Duvall against the Chinese and US government's, the MSS deployed Fong Ling to the Spencer Rain to quell Morpheus' plot. While there, she encountered USSTRATCOM agent Bruce McGivern and eventually formed a partnership with the agent so the two could accomplish their shared objective.
At one point during her mission, Fong Ling was lured to the Benthic Island heliport, where she was scheduled for termination by a Chinese satellite after the Chinese government decided to pay Morpheus' ransom demands. Due to a tracking chip implanted under the tattoo on her left arm, the satellite launched a barrage of attacks. With the help of Bruce however, she survived after the chip was removed and destroyed. Even with this attempt, she remained loyal to her country and continued her hunt for Morpheus in order to save the people of China from destruction.
Fong Ling was later captured by Morpheus, but was saved once again by Bruce. The two made their way to the missile silo in order to disarm and prevent them from launching. Fong Ling guided Bruce through the maze to reach the silo.
Following Morpheus' defeat at the hands of Bruce, Fong Ling managed to escape the explosion of the facility along with Bruce himself.
