El Gigante was a giant human-based B.O.W. (Bio Organic Weapon) created by the Los Illuminados through an application and genetic modification experiment with the Plaga parasite on a human host. 1 2
History
El Gigante was developed after implanting a human host with the Plaga and conducting subsequent genetic modifications. As a result, both the Plaga and the human host greatly increased in size and gained immense strength. However, due to its uncontrollable nature, only four were ever produced due to a limit being enforced and they were sealed and reserved for emergencies.
An improved B.O.W. based on the El Gigante's data was later developed by TRICELL, and dubbed "Ndesu."
Attributes
The creature was four times the size of a normal man and was immensely strong and tough. It was able to pull large trees completely out of the ground with ease and could completely pulverize a human being with its giant fists and feet. Its extreme aggressiveness made it uncontrollable through both verbal commands and the control of a dominant species Plaga.
